Don't expect to get your alteration on time I took a bridesmaids dress to Coronados that needed a strap fixed and a small amount of length taken off the bottom. Mr. Coronado assured me that it would be done by the time I needed it and that I could pick it up in 4 days at 4:30. When I arrived to pick it up, he was still working on the dress and I was told to have a seat. The room I waited in was probably about 80 degrees and I was told the heat was acting up. About 30 minutes in I asked if I needed to come back and was assured that he was almost done. After being there an hour, he comes in and shows me the length and has yet to fix the strap. When he finally gave me the dress, the strap looked terrible and when I tried it on I realized he attached it TWISTED. I really wish he would have picked up the phone and told me he was going to be late so I wouldn't have sat there sweating for an hour and a half.

Do not take your clothing to Coronado's to be altered! They were unprofessional from start to finish and ruined my wedding dress. I took my wedding dress to Coronado's to be altered based of a friend's recommendation and I wish I could go back in time and find somewhere else to have taken it! My initial bridal fitting was two and a half hours long. I scheduled an appointment with Mr. Coronado. Upon arriving, he began pinning my dress. He then told me he needed to wait for his daughter to arrive and she was "just down the street." It took over thirty minutes for her to arrive. Once she arrived, she undid absolutely everything Mr. Coronado had already pinned. She spent so much time talking while I stood around waiting for my dress to be finished. I was told I had to pay up front, while other tailors require a deposit or require payment once the alterations are finished. In my opinion, I should not have been forced to pay up front when they had my dress the entire time. I was told alterations for my dress would be done in three weeks with three fittings. I ended up picking up my dress six weeks after I first dropped it off. On one occasion, I scheduled a bridal fitting with Mr. Coronado via Michelle. Upon arriving, the door was locked and there was no one there. I reached out to Michelle who explained that Mr. Coronado was upstairs and would be down momentarily. Mr. Coronado never showed up, and I had to leave. On another occasion, I again scheduled a bridal fitting with Mr. Coronado via Michelle. I was meant to meet him midday. Before walking upstairs, I called to double check that they were in fact there, but was told my dress was not finished. If I wanted to pick it up that day, I needed to come back in 3-4 hours. I do not live close to Coronado's so each trip was a waste of time, gas, and money! After taking my finished wedding dress home, I noticed MANY issues with my dress. The buttons, shoulders, and sleeves where work had been done were filthy. My white wedding dress was stained. The rooms they work in are a mess - there are supplies, old paperwork, and trash EVERYWHERE. These areas were also incredibly worn down and had little fabric balls all over them. This was a result of a chemical or harsh rubbing being used on my dress. There is no way to fix the fabric they ruined. The shoulder seams that needed to be taken in are awful! Instead of being cut, the fabric was folded over and sewed together, so it protruded when it was worn. The seams themselves did not align with each other and were crooked. The hem of my dress was crooked, broken, and unfinished. It was cut incorrectly and so does not hang properly. It was also the first thing they altered on my dress, and they cut it too short. I was planning on wearing flip flops with no heels with my wedding dress, and am now having to find something with even less of a heel. There are many holes in the dress from where pins were placed, and there was a big snag at the bottom of my dress. Unfortunately the holes cannot be fixed. I asked for the snag to be fixed and was assured it would be. However it was not. The bustle was done way too high up the dress, and hung six inches off the ground. When the bra cups were sewn in, they were done incorrectly. Michelle spent ten minutes quickly redoing one of them. After trying the dress on again, I saw that the bra cup had been stitched to the outer layer of fabric. She once again said she would redo it for me, creating even more holes in my dress. After this fix, she did not let me try on my dress and sent it home with me. Once I tried on my dress at home, I realized the cups were not aligned. I have since taken it to a new tailor and everything has to be redone. The day I picked up my wedding dress & after seeing all the problems with it, I called Michelle and left a voicemail saying I was not pleased. She has not returned my call. Since then, I have called multiple times, during working hours and have not been able to get ahold of Michelle. I have been back to their place of business to show them the things that are wrong, and they were not there. Between all the time & money that was wasted, the lack of professionalism, my permanently ruined wedding dress, Coronado's has caused me insurmountable distress.

Thanks so much the dress was perfect!

I went there to get my homecoming dress altered and they did a flawless job. They treat everyone like family and are just so nice to work with. Getting to the location is a little tricky, but once you get there it's totally worth it! Thank y'all so much

My wedding day was so smooth and it wouldn't have been possible with Michelle. Not only is she talented, but she is an amazing person. Thank you for everything!

She had to totally redo my daughters wedding dress

Coronado's is amazing!! My daughter brought Michelle her wedding dress just a month (maybe less time) before her wedding. The dress we had bought needed more alterations then the dress shop had told us. Michelle not only had the dress done in 2 weeks before her wedding, she made it perfect. She added a bussell because we were told the dress already had one. She taught us how to put the dress on and lace it up in the back the right way. Michelle went above and beyond to make sure by daughter's dress looked perfect! I would give them more then 5 stars If could. I will only go to coronado's for all my alterations. Their customer service could never be beat!!

Can Coronado's keep original hem when taking up jeans?

Hi Jen I. thank you for your question. Our tailors are able to keep the original stitching from the hemline based upon shortening the length of the pant or denim. However, it may not be possible if you are wanting to add length to an existing…

At first it seemed a bit silly to hire a wedding planner because I thought how hard can wedding planning be? Well, I quickly realized it is overwhelming, stressful, hectic, and things change so often! Time and time again I would tell my husband how glad I was we had decided to hire Treasured Heart Events. I was fortunate enough to work with Ashlee and she was AMAZING from start to finish. :) I still remember our first phone meeting with her. I expressed all of our concerns with budget, guest count, and so on, and Ashlee listened and addressed all of my concerns. After our conversation, she sent over affordable package options. We decided to pick the month of and design. Ashlee created a design board for us and a budget list (not part of our package). She consistently answered emails in a timely manner and was so helpful! As we all know COVID has been around since March and we unfortunately still had to deal with it in July! There were SEVERAL times I would panic and want to stress cry, but I would send Ashlee an email instead and she would seriously just make EVERYTHING better! It was so nice having someone being positive during such negative times. Well, fast-forward to the month of the wedding and Ashlee, again, on top of things and handling all of the frequent changes with exceptional professionalism. The day of the wedding went so smooth thanks to her and her team. You would not believe how organized, prepared, and helpful her team was! From making sure the decorations were set at the right place to providing eye lash glue, they were ready for it! If you're looking for a wedding planner and don't know if it's for you, JUST DO IT! lol! There are so many things you don't think of, but they do and it helps you enjoy your day more. I will always recommend a wedding planner, but most importantly, Treasured Heart Events. I promise the time(s) will come were you will be so thankful you have them.

If you are going to have a small wedding this is an amazing affordable option for you. The only issue I had was not getting everything in writing, so make sure you specifically get everything in writing so you can look back on it if there are any miscommunications. We were told we would have a rehearsal the Friday before the wedding (the wedding was on the following sunday). We were also told we could decorate after the rehearsal was over because no one was going to be in the room. On friday we called to confirm the time which was 7pm. They said they did not have a rehearsal scheduled for us and that we could not come to decorate because Firemen were having a meeting in there at the time. This was the first thing I wished I had in writing, because I know we had confirmed for that previously. After this we had to arrange for everyone to come in early on Sunday so we could still decorate and do a quick rehearsal. When we were going over the contract Royal who is their event planner said that we could stay until 8pm. When we got there suddenly it had changed to 7. He ended up later allowing us to stay until 7:30 because I think he realized he had messed a few things up for us with the rehearsal and all. We were also told by him that he had a bar tender for us and 2 servers. He ended up being the bar tender and we only ended up having one server. All and all it all worked out in the end. The decor was beautiful in the church. I was pretty relaxed for a bride so I didn't have a huge freakout or anything, but I am sure some people in the same situation would. If you are looking for a nice venue, with affordable accommodations where you have a lot of availability to provide your own things such as decor, music, food, alcohol ect. this is a good place for you. Just please do not make my mistake, whatever they offer you get it in writing! We are also pretty sure we paid the bar tender fee twice because during the contract signing we had paid for everything we agreed to, then once the wedding was wrapping up my husband was told he didn't pay the 150 bar tender fee. Side note, check their hours because it was hard to reach them over the phone when we needed something. We had to call multiple times to even schedule to make payment for our wedding.

Bambi Bach the owner and operator was my wedding planner and coordinator. From the moment we walked in to begin planning ( and by we, I mean my mom and I!) Bambi was helpful and honest about what we would need, price ranges, and looks and designs. She helped us pick a menu, set up pretend/practice tables so we could get an idea of decorations, and talked us through an example of what the evening would look like. When I told her I was worried about specific issues or guests, she told me she would handle everything, and sure enough she did! Bambi designed centerpieces of vases ranging in all different sizes filled with water, where hot pink roses had been submerged. Floating candles were on top to give the room a twinkling glow! She "built" us a dance floor in our empty venue hall our of coordinating colored tulle and white columns, and set us a "mr. and mrs. table where my new hubby and I enjoyed our dinner alone after the ceremony... they served us first and helped politely steer guests away from us so we could get a quick bite in before the party began. At one point during the party one of our vases apparently had a crack in it, fell over and spilled. But much to our delight it was so quickly cleaned up, no one but that table noticed. In a room of 220 guests, that pretty impressive! Bambi helped organize all the typical evening of events, bouquet toss, garter toss, dances, cake cutting etc. It was nice to have someone there telling us when and what to do so there wasn't a lull in the party. Bambi's company is based out of Fort Worth, but traveled to Colleyville for my reception. The company had their own venue off of Forest Park Blvd. where they offered a tasting and viewing of their decorations, food, signature cocktails and typical vendors that my mom, fiancee and I were were able to visit before signing our contract. This was a plus in my book. We were happy with our experience!
