We came in on a weekend and the tailor gave us a fair price and told us it would be ready the following tuesday, but actually got it done the same day! Her price was competitive to the other tailors we visited in the area and she actually gave us an invisible zipper. One thing to keep in mind is that this business is closed sundays and Mondays I believe, so plan accordingly and bring it in ASAP if you need it done fast. read more

HOWEVER, she simply thought that I was a returning customer that knew how she operated. Once she realized I wasn't she was more assisting. The lady that runs this shop is a saint. I had an emergency and needed a hemming for a wedding after hours and she still accepted me. The hemming took no less than 15 mins. Her service is phenomenal. Great service! The woman there is so nice. She told me she's had her shop for decades! Was looking for a new tailor in the area with great prices and found it! Highly recommend! - I was looking to get all my shorts and jeans hemmed for my wider but shorter legs. She did a perfect job on all of them and I only had to wait 48 hours for all of them. Paid $99 total (tax included) for all 8 items. Any where else would have been double that! The shirt was paid for separately for $15 total (tax included). This is my second time here and it's still the same great service, but she sure has gotten more plants! I can't get over the plants! There are dressing rooms for changing into your garments that need adjusting and a couch to sit on while waiting. To start off, the lady was friendly and honest. That is always a plus. Also, the shop has a nice homie feel to it. I took two of my skirts to get alterations here and they turned out great. I had also brought a dress but she was honest and told me I could do it at home. In my opinion, she could have easily charged me a good amount for it but instead she gave me honest advice and even some matching threading for it. I don't know much about sewing but in my opinion, honesty is a big part of caring about customers. The pricing for my two skirts was $16 each. It was very reasonably priced compared to other places. Take your alterations here! The owner is very sweet; I had a couple of uniform skirts I needed altered for school the up coming Monday. I came in Saturday at 4:50 pm, and her shop closed at 5, yet she still helped me and quickly hemmed my skirt for the first day of school since her business was closed Sunday and Monday. I have been going to this tailor shop for years and have just been lax in writing a review. Shame on me because she is wonderful and I want people to know this so she can stay in business. Her pricing is good and her quality of work is superb. We have taken in everything from blue jeans to formals for her to alter or repair and have never been disappointed. And usually there is a quick turn around. Today I took in a shirt that my son ripped. She wasn't sure she could do it well since it is a uniform and needed to look nice.
