Poor workmanship and no attention to detail. I brought in a top to have the straps shortened, and they sewed them on backwards, causing the front of the top to sit sideways. I have been coming here for years, mostly for pant hems. Unfortunately, this last time I picked up my three pants after paying extra to keep the original hem (I watched them notate my request when I went in to take the measurements upon dropping them off), and upon picking them up they were not the original hem. With many of my pants, there are details on the cuff that I enjoy and pay extra to keep them. The second star is because previous experiences have been acceptable. read more

I dropped off 5 pairs of jeans to be tailor (waist only) I paid $173, received my jeans back and they were ALL incorrectly tailored. All of them still fit extremely big, it's like they didn't even do anything and just took my money. Will not be returning and they are extremely pricey. I should've just bought new jeans. read more

I have used this tailor a few times and they generally do a good job. This last time I had a pair of pants tailored and asked for a straight fit just slimmed down to fit over boots. What I received is a tapered fit that is way too slim to fit around boots. I was not offered a refund just a "better luck next time". Overpriced and underwhelming. Absolute terrible service. After I was overcharged to just slightly shorten the sleeves of a jacket, it took over two weeks before they finished my alterations. I finally got to pick up my jacket and the half inch they were supposed to shorten the sleeves by was a dream of the past. They had cut off at least an extra inch. They refused to acknowledge their mistake and fix it. End result: I have a jacket that I cannot wear. If anyone wants a jacket with cutoff sleeves I know where you can get one. I came in to get a patch on a Jacket. They charged $20. It cost $4 more for them to put on a patch than it cost the embroidery place down the road to put my name on it. He then proceeds to walk away before I can even tell him where or how I want the patch on my jacket. He didn't even ask or consider my thoughts. As he walked away he mumbles that they only take cash and then gets mad at me saying " I told you that earlier". I get my jacket back in about 10 minutes and the patch is way too low and isn't in the right place at all. Overall I would never recommend this place to anyone. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE -- REVIEW FROM NEIGHBORHOOD CLIENT. I live just a few blocks down from this place so I wanted to give my business to local businesses on the bricks. I regret it so much with this place. I'd taken quite a bit of clothes to them and interacted with the same man upfront each time. He was always short, dry, kind of rude but honestly didn't bother me much until the day an issue came up. I purchased a dress from Zara that was a bit big for my 5'4 frame, so I went in asking for the straps to be taken in. The day I picked up the dress, there were no rooms available to try on the altered dress so the manager (or owner? Same guy upfront every day) told me it was fine, I could come back if I had any issues with the dress. So I brought the dress home and fast forward to a few months later when I finally tried it on and realized the dress was completely butchered, lopsided, uneven, and just wrong. I went in and explained the situation. I even showed h photos of what the dress looked like online. He proceeded to tell me the photo showed a model, and I was everything but a model. For reference, im 5'4, 135 pounds. As I was trying to explain the situation, the owner told me "hurry it up, it's almost closing time." Fine, whatever. But upon putting on the dress and showing him the OBVIOUS issues, he backtracked and said he didn't know or recall what the dress looked like before and in his opinion, the dress was fine. He proceeded to yell at me in front of customers and of course, he got a rise out of me. He had zero respect or courtesy for me, as a woman or customer in general, to the point that another male customer in the room had to step in. This place is NOT cheap. Although it's convenient for those who live nearby, please know this place isn't worth it. Just take a look at all the other reviews, both on google and yelp. THEY ARENT LYING. This place keeps zero books and records, all done by cash. Guess I should've known then but I'd hoped for a better outcome. Brought in a handful button ups to be altered. Place was busy, yet the assistant came to me right away and measured me out. Little on the pricey side, but you pay for what you get there. Shirts look great and really nothing much to complain about. Great service, great staff, polite and pretty quick turn around for the amount of items needing to be altered. I brought a maid of honor dress in to have the slit raised in the dress as it was too low/close to my knee. When I picked the dress up and tried it on, they did the exact opposite and lowered my slit. Upon correcting the mistake, I went back to retrieve my dress for the second time, only to discover they stained the front of my dress while pressing/steaming it. The owner laughed and told me to "just clean it". 1 it might be burned from pressing and can't be fixed. 2 It's a chiffon bridesmaids dress, no I am not risking that nor should I have to even worry about this. The tailor seemed to show no care or remorse for what they did. With the wedding in 3 days, I am out of options and devastated. DO NOT TAKE THE RISK ON THIS PLACE. I saw good reviews and did, but how can they mess up a simple slit raise and manage to stain my dress (my dress was NEVER outside the garment bag in my possession). read more

By far one of the best Tailor shops in town! I've gone to them 3 times now! I got my personal suit done within three days for prom! Very precise and it fits like a charm! I got a coat done as well, and lastly I got a shirt that was too big and baggy for me but I knew they could make it look stylish! If I could give no stars for this business I would. Dropped off a denim jacket and pair of jeans and was told they could be done in a few days before I went out of town. I came by and picked up both items (for $84, which seemed a little pricey), got to my destination and found out that the jacket fit as though it was never tailored, had loose threads everywhere, and the arm had been sewed shut. The jeans had a hole in the leg that was never stitched. When I got back into town I went by and told the man at the counter that the work was not worth $84, and he proceeded to raise his voice and say that he couldn't do anything for me. He kept raising his voice and when I continued to push for at least a partial refund, he raised his voice at me even more saying he couldn't do anything for me besides giving me $10 and fixing the hole in my jeans. In my opinion, that is not a way to run a business, much less handle any sort of situation at anytime. The only redeeming factor was that the other guy working ACTUALLY APOLOGIZED when he refunded me the $10. The guy I talked to first never once apologized. Do not give this place your business, especially if you expect any sort of help after they don't do their job. read more

I was sad when Angels closed but I took a couple pair of shorts to be hemmed to Ace when they took over. They were quick and I thought they had done a good job. After I wore them and washed them the hem came out in one pair. I took the one pair back and they redid for no charge. I assumed they would have pressed them but they didn't. I haven't had a chance to wear or wash the shorts since I got them back so not sure if the hems will stay. Not sure if I will go back. read more

Outstanding work! I brought them a dress I needed to wear in a wedding (bridesmaid dress) that I ordered from a store in another state over the phone - the dress was too small and needed to be let out - I came to them in a panic, but they are true miracle workers!
