So, I went to "alternative" sources for the jersey. It was quite decent...except for the sleeve cuffs. Narrow decorative ribbon, rather than real sports elastic as used on field! (IYKYK). So, I sourced real sports elastic and had Anne Tailor sew it into the sleeve to create a PROPER cuff trim. I had seen previous Yelp reviews mentioning her good work on jersey alterations, so I was going to give it a try. Fantastic, very professional looking work! (It's the most well sewn part of the jersey.) You can tell she pays careful attention to detail. The work was completed within the time frame she gave me (just over a week) and was ready on the day stated. She even gave me the remainder of my material back. I paid as much to have this trim sewn in as I did for the jersey itself (which was cheap for a jersey) but to have the perfect custom look and fit it was totally worth it. I plan on going back with a couple more custom jerseys to have them altered to a smaller, slimmer fit; when I picked up this jersey, I described the particular alterations I had in mind and she said she could accomplish that. From my experience so far, I would definitely recommend Anne Tailor for this type of work. Keep your local tailor in business, as it is a dying skill and profession!

A fair review on my service experience. I took two items to have tailored. The first was a dress…read morethat needed adjustment at the top of the sleeve. The second was a MOB dress that needed hemming , a belt sewing into the dress , strap adjustment and slit sewing. The first dress was completes timely and done correctly for the most part. The MOB dress took 2.5 mths and was given to me incomplete. The slit sewing was not done and I was charged as though it was- $$$239 dollars When I went back after my event to share my findings, the seamstress was not pleased that I had followed up with her. She agreed to return my money for the sewing that was not completed. $40 Or to finish sewing ( even though the event had already happen ) - what you have to know is that this was the major portion of the dress that was the most obvious part of incompletion. ( it had safely pins that ran up and down my thigh) while the parts that she completed were done right , I won't go back because the customer service was subpar and the price for this service was outrageous.
