The staff members are always super friendly and efficient and we've always been satisfied with the quality, presentation, and overall turnaround times. We've even employed their services for minor alterations with hemming and reattaching buttons, and their prices are affordable and comparable to other cleaners in the area. We will gladly continue to take our garments here weekly and have already recommended this location to others!

Never had an issue here, not even once-and my husband is incredibly picky with his dry cleaning…read more Value for money is good. Five stars because I truly appreciate the owners honesty here. When I came in with an aged light blue suit coat, instead of taking my money, he gave me the option of taking it home and trying certain things myself before I paid to have them do, which as aged as the suit coat was, he wasn't sure it could be salvaged. I opted to pay and most of the old stains came out, but am just really appreciative of the honesty and transparency.

Luckily Upper West Cleaners was right up the road, and able to pick up/drop off from the hotel. Maria assisted me personally, and made sure that my laundry was washed with the requested detergent (sensitive skin abounds in our crew!) Our clothes came bag folded and sorted nicely in clear bags. The price was in line with other cleaners for fluff and fold services. Turnaround time was less than 24 hours! I will definitely use them again if I'm downtown and need my laundry mountain conquered.

Her price was competitive to the other tailors we visited in the area and she actually gave us an invisible zipper. After a bad experience with another local cleaners I decided to do a dry clean challenge. I am…read moretaking 5 shirts and 2 dry clean items to lots of different places to see who does the best job for the best price. This place is so small there's no computer check in. They just ask your name and write you a ticket. They do not do dry cleaning on location and they do not have a drive through. I got my clothes back quickly and here's what I found. The dry cleaned items were $3.59 each. Pretty reasonable when compared to other clears BUT I had taken sweaters. The sweaters were hung on wire hangers. (Womp womp) there was no protection at the shoulders no folding with tissue. Just hanging where the shoulders would get horns in a hurry. Noooooo!! The men's shits were $1.99. That's kinda high. But it's really high when you get back shirts that look awful!! See photo. Whaaaaah! Now I have to take them back for a re-do. I'll update this when I get them back to see how they handle this. Still looking for the overall winner in my dry cleaners challenge. Stay tuned! Update: I took the shirts back. The girl is friendly and took them with a smile. They were ready the next day at 5. They looked much better but there was never any kind of apology for making me return to fix the situation. Sometimes just a "Sorry to put you out" goes a long way.

Damaged My Clothing and Refused Refund…read more I brought a perfectly good pair of pants to this cleaners, and they returned them with a visible hole in the fabric. It looks like they were processed at too high a temperature--clearly a mistake on their part. When I brought it to their attention, they denied any responsibility and refused to offer a refund or any compensation. This place is completely unprofessional and dishonest. If you value your clothing and your money, stay far away. They damaged my property and offered zero accountability. Total scam.

This was my second time trying Master Tailor, and I have no clue how their ratings are so high…read more Poor quality, high prices, and long turnaround times. Though I wasn't impressed with the tailoring I've gotten from them in the past, I thought that maybe I caught them on an off day due to their raving reviews. My most recent visit, they charged me $115 dollars to get one $40 dress and one $20 pair of jeans hemmed. They said the turnaround would take two weeks. I assumed that the high price I'm paying and the time I'm waiting would result in quality work. Instead, my clothing returned with wonky and messy stitching, like it was done by an amateur. The last time I got something tailored by them, they took in the armpit of my dress way too much, and now my armpit gets suffocated whenever I wear it. After this recent visit, I asked my coworker if I was going crazy. She said that she had a similar experience, where she simply wanted a hole in her shirt mended, and she was quoted $50. She was able to find another tailor to do it for $10. We theorized that this tailor is able to charge so much for their low-quality work due to the lack of competition in the area and their proximity to TCU. I suggest others find another tailor to give their business to.
