I started my 2026 Magical Dining experience here and I returned again for the end of Magical Dining. I invited fellow Yelp Elite All-Star, Ricarta, to experience this great restaurant. We had a reservation for 7pm and I arrived around 6:30 to sit at the bar for a Happy Hour drink given Richelle makes the BEST Cosmopolitan in the Orlando area! One of the customers at the bar saw my drink and asked me about it. I highly recommended it and when she saw it, she ordered one herself. She raved about it also. Ricarta was running a little late, so I asked the hostess to seat me first so as not to lose the table. Arianna was all smiles and had the booth ready for us and had our drinks and appetizer (grilled oysters-outstanding!) moved to the table. When Ricarta arrived, we were seated at a booth (as requested in my reservation) that had the amazing Franco serving us (as also requested). He was assisted tonight by Reina, who was also very friendly and helpful. (The employees here are so amazing!) Franco was his outstanding self and provided us with adequate time to talk and order and we were never rushed. Such a great serving experience. We started off with Goat Cheese Croquette (thank you Franco for recommending mixing the ingredients together to get the full impact of the sweet and salty flavor) and a Caesar Salad, which we shared. I order the Shrimp Pesto this time and Ricarta had the Beef Bourguignon (which I recommended based on my first visit here). Both were 5-star entrees. The pasta was perfectly cooked and served with four very nice sized shrimp. We shared both dishes again (Franco brought over separate plates for sharing) and we both were in culinary heaven. Finally, for dessert, we ordered the Bourbon Fig Bread Pudding (Franco recommended adding the vanilla ice cream "a la mode" which enhanced this dish, too!) and the Lemoncello cake, accompanied with Cafe Lattes to end the evening. (Final note-Ricarta just closed a big deal and they wrote "Congratulations" in chocolate on the bread pudding plate-nice and classy touch by the chefs!) I again was able to share some quality time with Chef Vincent and General Manager, Sheila, who made me feel like familia. So happy I started and ended my 2026 Magical Dining journey at Fig's Prime. I plan to become a regular here and shout from the roof tops for other diners to come out and enjoy this fantastic experience! read more

What an amazing family owned restaurant located in Altamonte springs. I was invited by my fellow Yelp and fabulous friend , Greg and I was blown away. Greg arrived a bit before me and ordered grilled oysters and a lemon drop martini for me during their happy hour before our booth was ready for our reservation time. Once seated, Franco our amazing server came over to start or order. We requested another round of martinis before the fabulous bartender, Richelle left for the evening. The lemon drop and cosmopolitan were the best I've ever had! For appetizers we shared the goat cheese croquettes and Caesar salad . Both amazing and full of flavor. The sweet and salty of the croquette made me want 5 more ! For entree : I ordered the beef bourguignon served with mashed potatoes and oh my... melt in your mouth goodness. Greg order the shrimp pesto and I allowed me to sample, I almost ordered one to go that's how good it was. The only person to make shrimp pesto this good , is my mom and this was a close tie! For dessert : the bourbon fig bread pudding and limoncello cake with lattes finished the evening and oh my my my..... the fig bread pudding was absolutely light and delicious. Both were 10/10. What I truly loved about the evening was the warm service from Franco, Reina and Sheila ( GM). We literally shut the place down and were the last ones out because of the genuine service and conversation. I cannot believe this was the first time dining here and it's so close by! I came for magical dining and what an amazing value for $40. We had reservations for 4pm on a Friday. We were greeted warmly & sat immediately. It was quiet when we first arrived but the restaurant soon was a buzz with happy hour guests arriving. It seems like the place to be kicking off the weekend! Our server, Franco, was the absolute best. He offered recommendations to us and elevated our dining experience by his professionalism, timing, and attentiveness. For my starter I chose the goat cheese croquettes. These were the perfect bites. Crispy on the outside and creamy cheese in the middle. Delicious! For my main I ordered the veal scallopini. It came with mashed potatoes & mixed veggies. It was great portion and I certainly had leftovers which Franco packed for us. He also cleaned crumbs off our table in between courses. It was a nice touch. Top tier service! For dessert I had the bourbon fig bread pudding. I ate every bite. I am so happy I tried this place. First time here, we made reservations for Saturday at 7pm, I'm glad we had reservations because it was quite busy. I ordered the Shrimp Pesto Pasta, it was really good, a little on the oily side but it was good, huge Shrimp and the pasta perfectly cooked. My one recommendation was they need some Garlic bread served with it, the waitress said it was a new item, and they may consider adding that. I had a Lychee Martinee and a Watermelon Margarita, the Martinee was okay, but the Margarita was delicious. Fig's Prime is one of the restaurants that are offering the Magical Dining menu three courses for $ 40.00 dollars which is truly an amazing savings. I made reservations through Yelp for 4:30 on Friday for an early mother daughter dinner. Our server was Franco. He was knowledgeable and friendly. We were seated at a table and served water while handing us menus and welcoming us in. Franco stepped away to give us a moment to make our choices for dinner. I decided to start with the Goat Cheese Croquettes it is served over caramelized onions, pears, and figs with a butter almond-liqueur. This appetizer is so delicious the taste just melts in your mouth. For my second course I chose the Gulf of Maine Salmon. The salmon is brushed with homemade teriyaki barbecue glaze, served with fried rice with vegetables. The salmon is absolutely perfectly cooked and delicious. The third course I chose the Limoncello cake it was light and airy with mascarpone cheese and lemon icing. It was a perfect end to my meal. The ambiance is stylish and classy with servers that really know how to serve you without being intrusive. Went to Fig's tonight for the tail end of Magical Dining. Beautiful restaurant, and Reina greeted us with a smile. We were early for our reservation, and were offered the option to be seated for dinner or take advantage of happy hour at the bar. Highly recommend the happy hour (and the bar). Rochelle took great care of us, and we were never in danger of an empty glass. Once it was time for our reservation, Ariana led us to our table and took away the extra place settings. Very professional all around. We were lucky enough to have Sheila as our server. She knew the menu forward and backward, answered all our questions, and made recommendations without being pushy. The goat cheese croquettes were perfection! My Dining companion doesn't usually care for cooked fruit, but the apple/fig with the perfectly fried/breaded goat cheese was such a great, light appetizer. Veal scaloppine didn't look like much, but it was absolutely a great choice. Really, really good dish. I chose the salmon and it came out perfectly cooked. Highly recommend. Then, there was dessert! The chocolate rum torte was so decadent! It reminded me of the inside of a Lindor truffle, but was 4x the size. So good. The star of the show, though, was the bread pudding. Fig's Prime was my first visit, and it absolutely makes a strong first impression. Located in Altamonte Springs, the exterior is grand, parking is easy, and when I arrived there were multiple parties happening at once. It immediately felt like a serious date-night spot--also perfect for client dinners, birthdays, or celebratory gatherings. I went with a group of eight, and across the board, the steaks were the undeniable stars of the night. I got to admire a prime rib, filet mignon, and New York strip at the table--and every single one was cooked perfectly. I ordered the special: a 10 oz filet topped with three jumbo shrimp in a lobster cream sauce, served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The filet itself? Perfect medium rare, exactly as requested. Seasoning was balanced and not overly salty (which is something I often run into elsewhere). The steak alone was excellent. The lobster cream sauce, however, was just okay for me. This is subjective, but I felt it leaned a little too creamy and slightly muted the savory depth of the steak. Personally, I would've preferred something brighter like a chimichurri--or if going the lobster route, perhaps a full lobster tail instead of shrimp to really justify the pairing. The shrimp were fine, but they felt like they were competing with what could have been. The asparagus was my only real food gripe--it was small and limp. Properly cooked, thicker asparagus can be vibrant green with a soft crunch. This missed that mark. We started with beef carpaccio and grilled oysters. The oysters were dressed heavily (almost like a potato-skin style topping with bacon and spinach). Not my preferred preparation, but they were ordered for the table, so I joined in. The ambiance was spot on. Lighting was balanced--not too dim, not too bright. The booths were beautiful. Service was excellent: quick to pre-bus, attentive with water refills, helpful with suggestions, and even brushing crumbs from the tablecloth. Very polished. My one logistical complaint: the restrooms. For a fairly large venue, there's only one locked stall per men's and women's room, which caused small lines and even some crossover between guests. That felt like an oversight for a space built for larger parties. One thing I did miss? Complimentary bread. At this price point, that small touch would've elevated the experience. Dessert, however, redeemed everything. The pistachio gelato was the perfect finishing move--authentic, nutty, and not artificially green. Exactly what I needed after a rich, savory meal. I don't usually gravitate toward high price tags, but this experience felt worth it. I chose the special for perceived value, but next time I'd likely order the filet mignon on its own and let the steak shine without the extra embellishments. Overall, Fig's Prime delivers on atmosphere, service, and steak execution. A strong addition to the Altamonte dining scene--and definitely a place for occasions that call for something elevated. read more

Amazing food, good customer service, generous portions and great ambiance. This visit I came for happy hour and he had a great selection. I've also come to past for dinner and enjoy their steak and table service as well. I personally enjoy the bar better than the way. The seating is set up because I do feel like the tables are too close to each other for my comfort but other than that, the service is always great and the food is always on point. I like that they have their own dedicated parking lot and that it's in the nook of Altamonte/Longwood. read more

We visited Fig's Prime for a birthday celebration dinner. It was a group of a little over a dozen people. We were able to be seated within a short period of time. We were all together on the right side of the restaurant. The restaurant is very intimate and appealing and yet still suitable for groups. There was also another party if diners who were celebrating a birthday. The seating is very comfortable. The staff is great. Our wait staff answered any questions we had and offered recommendations. The food was delicious. The oysters were great. I especially loved the Shrimp & Grits. The grits was creamy and had the right amount of flavor and cheese. Came here for Happy Hour--really great specials, especially on food. Favorites were the beef carpaccio and the shrimp scampi. The prosciutto flatbread had way too much Gorgonzola on it. I would definitely ask for light on that if you decide to order it. It was pungent and overwhelming. Some of my friends ordered a few items from the regular menu and enjoyed them. Called for reservation 3 weeks in advance for family celebration. Seated 45 minutes late. Walk ins given priority seating. Bar tender tried to serve incorrect drinks twice while waiting for our reservation. Once seated it took another hour to be served. Steak had no flavor though was cooked almost to medium rare. Came here one evening with some friends whom this is their favorite restaurant. The ambiance is pure luxury. You walk in and you feel very upscale. Fancy tablecloths, fancy light fixtures, overly polite servers, the whole nine. We started off with the Goat Cheese Croquettes (served over caramelized onions, pears and figs in a butter-almond liqueur). Really good dish. The sweetness of the fruit, the bitterness of the arugula, the savoriness of the onions, all pair uniquely and so well with that tangy goat, as well as with the crunch from the breading of the fry. So good. So my main event, I got the 16 oz Prime New York Steak, medium rare of course. Just a note, premium hand-cut steaks are prepared on the grill topped with butter, served with complimentary potatoes and asparagus - no substitutions please. So be ready for that. Not that their asparagus and potatoes are bad, but it's just a huge lack of creativity. Anyway, the steak was good. Great sear, well seasoned, a proper cook throughout. The best cooked steak of that thickness that I've had in a while. Kudos to Fig. And I'm not sure about the asparagus, but I always order mash with steaks anyway. I also got to try the 16 oz Veal Chop, cooked medium (gorgonzola crust and honey balsamic glaze). This is it. This veal chop is the reason to come to this restaurant. Amazing cook, the thickness of the chop really accentuated the natural flavor of the veal, served on the bone which was badass, and the accompaniments added a nice depth of flavor that kept every bite of this chop interesting. Wonderful. We finished off with the Chocolate Rum Torte (flourless chocolate torte, fudge like consistency served with raspberry sauce and whipped topping). It was good, exactly as described, but it wasn't as good as I was hoping for, so unless you're a raging chocoholic, get the bread pudding like I wanted to. Overall, as very nice meal. Pros: Ambiance was gorgeous. It looks like the bottom of an office building from the front, but inside, it's a beautiful hotel style steakhouse, complete with dim candle lighting. Really a nice ambiance. Service was about the same level. White tablecloth, very polite servers, carafe of water at the table, really nice folks. And the food! All this place had to do was nail the cook on the steaks, and it did that. We had a perfect medium rare strip and a perfect medium veal chop. Cons: I'm sure there are economic reasons, but every steak or chop came with the no choice of only two sides, their mashed potatoes and their asparagus. Not cool. Would have deducted a star for this lack of creativity if it wasn't for the sides actually being delicious. Tips: Get the veal. Any good steakhouse can get you a great strip, but the veal chop from this place was different, on another level. read more

It took 45 mins for us to get our drinks and place food orders. We were there for almost 3 hours from the time we sat to the time we signed the checks. This has been our go-to restaurant for every celebration, & business event for years (though I don't always "check in"). After tonight... maybe second string. The food is still delicious, but we were not treated with welcoming arms like we have since they opened. We felt almost unwelcome, & for a special wedding anniversary, it's off-putting. I totally get it that happy hour specials are at the bar. But to make a guest feel like they're lower-class by doing happy hour specials before full-price meals was uncool. (When we were told we could only do happy hour specials at the bar, we thought "OK, we'll enjoy appetizers there first, then move to a table for entrees," but having been made to feel like second-class citizens for doing so made us not even want regular meals.) We enjoyed our time despite the cold shoulder (though Gabby was pleasant. We have decided that we'll no longer eat here for our momentous events. Maybe for an occasional meal, but the "you're just not special" atmosphere we got tonight really changed our thoughts. Sad. It's been a favorite for as long as I remember. read more

We came a little early to take advantage of the Happy Hour but were disappointed that we could not partake since we were seated and they only allow HH at the bar. We ordered Espresso Martinis and they were top tier! I've tried them at many restaurants and Fig's has some of the best I've tasted! We ordered appetizers (Avocado Crab Stack & House Flatbread) and were ready to order entrees but our waitress walked off abruptly after taking our appetizer orders. The Avocado Crab Stack was slightly bland but the crab was incredibly fresh! My boyfriend enjoyed the flatbread so much he ate it ALL! I had a bite and it was really good but I'm not a big flatbread/pizza fan. Eventually, we were able to order entrees (New Zealand Rack of Lamb & Chilean Sea Bass) both were really delicious but I think the Sea Bass was my favorite meal of the night and stole the show! It was a buttery, melt in your mouth situation. Seasoned to perfection and the risotto was truly the best I've ever had! For dessert we had the Bourbon Fig Bread Pudding. That was flavorful and the strawberries and drizzle of sauce heightened the taste. We definitely should've asked for more sauce. We(and now you) know for the future. Things that bothered me: -The couches against the windows were difficult to get in and out of and were lower than the chairs. The difference in seating arrangements at the same table would seem awkward when people are sitting across from each other. My boyfriend and I chose to sit in the chairs instead of the couch. -The SINGLE bathroom is right by the kitchen area and bar with no real wall/barrier. read more
