Figaro's gets a Gold Star for 'Community Service'! We've had a freezing rain and snow storm out here last night and today along with several power outages. The Figaro's staff (those that could make it in) were busy trying to prioritize pizzas to bake for those with no power. I drove in to check the roads and what the heck, get a pizza since they were open. Most of the other businesses were closed. I placed my order for a couple of pizzas to take home and cook as we got our power back. They asked if I was okay if they prioritize the phone in orders for those with no power at home. That really made me proud of this local shop, you go right ahead! The two staff had considered closing like the other shops due to the winter ice storm, but stayed open instead to cook pizzas in between their power outages. It would go out for a few minutes, then back on, but they were able to stick it out and help the locals. Figaro's, you ROCK! read more

Unfortunately the lady I spoke to on the phone said no they were told never to take any orders over the phone when I had called. And she also mentioned if I ordered online it might not register in the system right away and miss the order. So since I did call and inquire about doing a pickup by phone the staff my need updated knowing it's allowed. I live 5 minutes away so I planned on ordering to help with not making the line any longer since it was close to closing time. read more

Maybe I'm alone in this but I refuse to sit and split hairs about pizza in Veneta. If you wanted a nuanced 'za, you should've pounded the pavement into town. Out here, there is pizza done right and pizza done wrong. And this Figaro's does it right. I'm kinda shocked to read some of these other reviews. I've always been treated very well by the counter folk and they show me a perfectly cooked pizza every time. No, it's not artisan pizza. It's good dough, very good sauce, and toppings that aren't intestinal missiles. And it's usually quick, and fairly cheap. Proceed with confidence. read more

When it comes to pizza pie in Veneta, Oregon, Figaro's is pretty much your option. This Oregon-founded chain offers both we bake and you bake (take n bake) pizzas along with wings, salads and breadsticks. It's sort of like a Papa Murphy's but they have ovens too, which is great when, like us, you're glamping nearby and too lazy to cook your own pizza over the campfire. We had agreed to feed an army of people ranging from 2 years old all the way up to the early 40's in age, and anyone who's tried to accomplish this feat knows that pizza is a happy medium. The pizzas here run from $15 to $20 (which is a little steep for the quality) for 16" extra-large size pies. Your choice of original, thin or thick crust. The ingredients are decent, the toppings are decent, and the crust is what you'd expect from your average delivery/take-out joint. A couple of dollars cheaper per pie and this would be a deal. Fortunately they have a check-in offer here for $3 off extra large pies, so at $12 instead of $15 for the one-topping pies, things became a lot more affordable. The staff here was adequately friendly and helpful, willing to work with us for an early order and timed pickup (can't make hungry kids wait). Overall it was an A-OK experience. read more

This place is hit and mostly miss. Pros Close to home, but then again theres a couple other options. Cons Burnt crust or overly cooked many times Last 2 times I ate Figo's pizza it had a weird chemically taste not to be confused with burnt, the crust was lightly golden. Finally the one thing that really made me decide not to buy pizza here again is when I purchase a 16 inch pie I expect the topping to be filling 15 inches of that pie not 12 who the hell orders a pizza to get 2 inches of crust, pretty chinsy to me but that's my opinion. Do yourself a favor go try the pizza at the DS MART down Territorial on the way to Crow that's the only place I get pizza now. The topping go dam near the edge of the pie not to mention the crust has a great flavor. read more

Wish we would have got a digiorno stuffed crust for half the price this was the worst pizza I have ever eaten

Ok, the first thing you notice is the cashier and staff are all teenagers and the attitude shows a lot. I did watch them prepare the pizza and cleanliness is not a top priority. When we got home I really didn't think about the prep. About an hour after eating their pizza my wife and I both got violently sick - food poisoning. This could have been an isolated event, but I'm not putting my health at risk to some careless teenager making minimum wage. Stay away and go to Papa Murphy's - the pizza taste better. read more

I was shocked when I opened my mail today, it was a certificate for a free pizza and a welcome to town form the owner. Very unique and cool way to advertise. We just bought a house here and didn't have a fridge on our first night, so we got a figaros pizza. The service was good and the pizza was yummy. The Veneta Figaro's employees are incompetent, rude and entirely unprofessional. You try to make an online order with their website and its attached to THEIR store and they try to tell you that it is not associated with them and another store instead. You attempt to use their advertised coupons from their site and they do not apply and then when you make the order it's TEN dollars more than it should be because of it. So you call in to ask them what's going on and they tell you they can only honor it if you bring a smartphone with the coupon on screen to show them, even though it is supposed to have a discount code thats applicable when you make the order. And then when you ask them what the hell to ensure they got your order nobody confirms. I am never doing business with this place ever again. I am SO disgusted by this because I am hearing impaired and having to call is IMPOSSIBLE FOR me. Why the hell doesn't your website and franchise work together to support honorable advertising techniques instead of falsely advertising and then treating someone with a disability like shit? I am so, so, so upset! I am never buying pizza here again!! read more

I haven't been a patron of this establishment for many years. My two interactions with Larry (owner?/manager?) back then made me come to the conclusion that he has very fuzzy math skills. One time he had a promotion for a two topping pizza that included a free video rental at the video store on the other end of the shopping center. I said sure, I'll do that. As my pizza was being made, I told the gal behind the counter that I would also like to add a side of olives to the order. When I went to pay, Larry (I hope I have that name right) took my money and when he did, I asked him for my free movie coupon. This part, I am not making up, as ludicrous as it sounds - Larry said I was not eligible for the free video because I ordered a THREE topping pizza (even though one ingredient was not actually on TOP of the pie) and the promotion was only if you bought a TWO topping pizza. I actually laughed out loud and said "You're kidding, right?" He wasn't kidding. That was my second and last purchase from that store. read more

Usually like Figaro's, but things seem to be going down hill. Tonight we got soggy breadsticks and the wrong crust- gluten free to take home and bake. Unless you really can't eat gluten, don't try it. The cashier was completely out to lunch forgetting to include a coupon, our bread sticks and my change. I'll give them another chance since they are really the only one in town, but it sure wasn't great tonight. read more
