Figaro's is a no frills sandwich shop with a grab and go setup and a few bar stool seating. There's a decent selection but I came and tried the famous chicken caesar wrap and it was DELICIOUS! so saucy and and i was impressed how crunchy it was considering it was grilled chicken and not a fried cutlet. Service was relatively quick and very friendly. The wrap was a bit on the expensive size (about $20). I would definitely come to try another sandwich!

Holy cow I will be back. I got The Big Steak and my friend got The Mayflower on ciabatta. The Big Steak: Steak, cheese, shredded lettuce, red onion, diced pickles, and thousand island dressing. Served fresh off the grill. Hot and oozing with flavors. Literally so good. It reminds me of a DIY attempt at making a Big Mac in the best way possible. Mayflower: Oven roasted turkey, house stuffing, lettuce, bacon, mayo, and house made cranberry sauce. Molly got it on ciabatta instead of in a wrap. She wished it had more stuffing and more mayo but still so incredible. Also, what's up with these free brownies?! Lethal. SO good. Chewy, moist, and on the house? Unreal. The staff here is electric. So fun and upbeat. Also the line moves quick so don't let the long line scare you!

The service was very quick! Very close to the Amtrak south station and china town. Workers are friendly and fast. The sandwich was awesome, I got the good fella and my sister got the Italian. I took mine on the Amtrak going back home, ate half on the train and the other half when I got home! It's a big sandwich!

So I figured before our train ride home we'd stop and get a sandwich and some chips and I found this place and YELP of course. When we got there there was a line outside. We got there just in time. This place is POP U LAR!! I got the chicken Caesar wrap and my brother got the Italians and godfather and omg everything looked and tasted AMAZING no wonder there was a line out the door. If you're ever in or around the area I highly recommend stopping here!! Just trust me...

This is a fantastic spot for a quick and easy grab-and-go lunch. The menu is extensive, so there's something for everyone, and the option to call ahead makes ordering a breeze. The pickup process is smooth and efficient, perfect for a busy day. They use top-quality ingredients, which really stand out in every bite. We tried the Goodfellas and the Sonny--both were excellent. The chicken in the Sonny was incredibly fresh and generously portioned, while the prosciutto on the Goodfella was sliced to order, adding to the sandwich's rich flavor. Plus, the roll was perfectly fresh, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

Best sandwich in town! Family atmosphere with friendly and fast service. There was a line both times I've gone, but it moves fast. I've tried the Italian and the Whitey with blue. Both delicious!

On the Friday special menu: "Tuna on Focaccia" It really was "All That".

As busy as this place gets, line moves fast, service is friendly, there's an awesome sandwich menu and what I saw others getting I can't wait to get on my next visits.

After much anticipation in wanting to try this place, I finally got a chance yesterday. It was well worth it. I was debating between The Goodfella and an Italian. Ultimtely I went with The Goodfella and it was delicious. I ordered extra hots, and had a fantastic sub. The bread was fresh and hearty, definitely need strong teeth to rip through it, and all the fixings were fresh and meats were premium quality. The presentation of the sandwich was very nice with a filling, and colorful display. Staff was friendly and would gladly come back. Ate inside and enjoyed looking out the window seeing people and the traffic flownof the area passs by. I'll be sure to come back for the Italian. Their steak-based subs also look great too.

Figaros has some of the best subs and wraps in the city. Al Capone and The Whitey are two of my favorites.

Italian Sub: $20 for a foot long, the meat was so plentiful it's almost overflowing, enough for two meals. The prisciutto was tender and juicy; the salami was firm and savory with a strong smokiness. Both are thinly sliced, so despite the thick stack, it was relatively easy for a bite. The provolone cheese was also generously portioned, with a robust yet not spicy flavor and a subtle nutty aroma, perfectly complementing the two meats. The olive oil and balsamic vinegar were particularly outstanding: mellow, tangy, and with a fruity aroma of grapes, key to the complex flavor profile. The lettuce, tomatoes, and onions were all fresh, especially the onions were refreshing and a little zingy, perfect for removing the greasiness. Unfortunately, I was worried about not being able to roll it back up properly and making it inconvenient to carry (which it actually happened), so I took it away and ate it at the office. After about 40 minutes, the bread had become somewhat dry and hard.

My first introduction…read moreended up being at a corporate event in Boston's Seaport district, where lunch arrived courtesy of one of the city's best-known sandwich shops. The catering was impressive. Before anyone even took a bite. Every half sandwich was individually wrapped and clearly labeled, with salads and sides neatly organized, making it easy for a large group to grab lunch without the usual catering chaos. The choices were wide and varied. We took our lunches upstairs to a rooftop seating area overlooking the Seaport, which made for a pretty great setting on a beautiful afternoon. I chose the Gobbler, and it lived up to the hype I've since read in other reviews. At first glance it sounds like a Thanksgiving leftover sandwich, but it's much more than that. The turkey was fresh and flavorful, and it was complemented by stuffing, cranberry sauce, spinach, pepper jack cheese, and just enough chipotle mayo to add an unexpected kick, without overwhelming everything else. It's one of those combinations that sounds busy on paper but comes together remarkably well. I spoke with several others over lunch, and they were equally impressed with their choices. That's always a good sign when you're feeding a crowd. It's one thing to make a great sandwich to order; it's another to deliver dozens of them catered while maintaining that level of quality. Since this was catered, I can't really comment on the restaurant itself. The service on the catering side, however, was evident in how thoughtfully everything was prepared and packaged, and the rooftop setting where we enjoyed lunch certainly didn't hurt. Needless to say, this won't be my last Sam LaGrassa's sandwich. I fully intend to visit the restaurant one of these days, and in the meantime I'll spend some time trying to recreate that Gobbler at home (maybe with sliced roasted chicken, but also with turkey when I have it). It was that good.

There's a small park with shaded benches about 2 blocks away (Elliot Norton Park) which is a great place to sit down and devour the food. I ordered the Mission Breakfast Burrito and it was delicious. As of August 2026, the website lists the burrito as $14, but the price on the in-person menu was $16. I would give the burrito 4 out of 5 stars because of the way it was wrapped - about a third of the burrito was just egg and cheese and the toppings (avocado, red onion, hash browns, salsa verde, crema) were crammed on the other side of the burrito. If there was a way for the burrito to be wrapped so all the ingredients were more evenly distributed - this would easily be a 5/5 breakfast burrito. One random detail that stuck out to me was that their drinks in their refrigerator were very cold - no lukewarm sodas here! I would come back here to try their signature "Fancy" sandwich. Overall, this is a very solid breakfast spot in Boston!
