The food and service has always been good. Today, we ordered Chilaquiles with Carnitas added in a verde salsa, Corned Beef Hash, and sides of hashbrowns and 2 pancakes (instead of toast). The Chilaquiles were very good and the over easy eggs were perfect. The carnitas were tender and nicely seasoned. The housemade corned beef cubes were tender and the diced pan fried potatoes had a nice latin seasoning blend. I just wish the hash had diced bell peppers and onions. I also wish the poached eggs I asked for with the corned beef hash were cooked properly. I was expecting the type of poached eggs that are like small balloons waiting to be popped so the egg yolk oozes out over the corned beef hash. These poached eggs were over-cooked and looked un-appetizing, but tasted fine. The hashbrowns were perfect - crispy and tender and properly seasoned! The side of pancakes were fluffy and absorbed the syrup quickly. Overall a good visit. The food was mostly on point, except for the disappointing poached eggs and lack of onions and bell peppers often found in a hash. If I go back, I'll stay away from their benedicts (since poached eggs are not executed correctly, and corned beef hash, and instead stick with the Chilaquiles.

I had my first visit to Two Brothers today. I expected it to be a pub, and I was delighted to learn…read moreit was a diner, with counter seating, tables, and booths! One side of the menu lists breakfast items, and the other side lists lunch items. I ordered the Farmers Skillet with ham, bacon, sausage, tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, and canned mushrooms, your choice of eggs, and topped with melted American cheese. I asked for no cheese, so you won't see it in my photo. The dish also comes with choice of white, wheat, rye, or sourdough bread. I assumed fresh mushrooms would be used, but I was wrong. I don't like the rubbery texture of canned mushrooms, but I know others like them. Consider this a heads-up. Also, note that their corned beef hash comes from a can. I asked because I almost ordered it. My sourdough toast was good, as expected. My gf ordered the Country Fried Steak with eggs & hashbrowns, and she enjoyed it. The service was great, as was the "diner" ambiance. I think this is a great spot for breakfast, and I would come back again. I'd like to try their lunch menu, too.

The restaurant is pretty tucked away and not real big. It is at the intersection of Walker and Cesar Chavez. It is a very quaint little restaurant. I had an incredible discussion with the manager, Trenton as staff here are super friendly! They are still trying to get the heat fixed, so for now, you may want to get your order to go. You WILL want to try this place out though. The food is absolutely fantastic! I had a smoked ham and cheese omelette with hash browns and whole wheat toast. The omelette just melted in my mouth with delicious flavor! Hash browns were very good too! The prices are very reasonable! There is parking on the street out front, but it is metered parking. Unfortunately, no parking on the street at the meters during the week from 7-9 AM. With the quality of food, friendly staff and reasonable prices, you probably want to try this place out before it gets super busy!!

Cute New Mexican spot in West Milwaukee. The service was very friendly and helpful…read more My husband ordered a chimichanga with carne asada and I ordered chilaquiles with arrachera. They were both a good portion size. We both loved the chimichanga! I liked the chilaquiles and the flavor of the arrachera was good, but the steak was a little chewy. There was a LOT of salsa on the tortilla chips for the chilaquiles and I wish I just had more chips to soak it up. We loved the pico de gallo and chips they served. I loved the horchata, you could definitely tell it was homemade. We would definitely come back to try more things.

I really enjoy Jackson's and like to stop by every now and then for some drinks and wings. The food…read moreis consistently solid--especially the honey sriracha wings, which are my favorite! I've also tried a few other menu items, and you really can't go wrong. The menu is similar to the other Jackson's locations in the area, which makes it easy to know what to expect. Service tends to be a bit slow, but it's usually understandable since we sit in the bar area, and the bartender is often responsible for both the bar and the nearby tables. They do their best, and we're typically in no rush. That said, one of our more recent visits was a little disappointing. We stopped in around 3 p.m. on a Sunday, and the atmosphere was unusually chaotic. The music was very loud--so loud that it was hard to hear the bartender and even carry on a conversation with my husband. There was also a group of rowdy patrons being obnoxious, whistling, and vaping indoors. I get that it's a bar, and a lively crowd is part of the vibe, but vaping inside should've been addressed. A simple reminder from staff to take it outside would have helped. Overall, I still like Jackson's for a casual hangout with great wings, but I'd appreciate a little more attention to the atmosphere when it starts to get out of hand.

This red beat up truck caught the corner of my eye and since I haven't eaten since breakfast I stopped for a couple tacos since it was almost 3pm. I ordered one steak and one al Pastor taco with cilantro and onions that came with a red and green sauce. The tacos looked good on corn tortillas and nicely filled and topped. I tasted the meat before I put the hot sauce on my tacos to see how it was. The meats were moist and not dry at all with the steak having a good beef flavor and the al Pastor being the tastier meat. The sauces were not to my liking but the red one was used for some heat in my tacos. The tacos were pretty good on the corn tortillas with the fresh cilantro and onion and every bite was meaty with the steak having a big piece of gristle/fat. Overall it's not my favorite Mexican truck but it was still good and I would try a goat burrito next time.

El Senorial is where you will find the BEST horchata in Milwaukee. I always recommend ordering the pitcher because once you try the horchata you're going to want a refill. The pitcher fills about 6 cups. Overall they have great food and are an awesome place to grab a bite for any occasion.
