Went here for some margaritas and a burrito, and everything was delicious. I loved sitting at the bar and service was top notch! The bartender was so helpful and her timing was perfect. The decor is so unique and cute. Love the commitment to the theme!

Stopped in here to grab a gift card and decided to grab some chips and queso and salsa. The queso was creamy and just what I hoped it would be with a little kick (but nothing crazy). The salsa was okay - not a ton of seasoning, but it was definitely fresh. The Bloody María (tequila in place of vodka) hit the spot too! I sat at the bar and was served quickly!

November 2025: I went to Cafe Corazon in Riverwest with three family members to celebrate a birthday. Two of the family members are ADA. When we arrived, we were welcomed by staff and seated at a lovely booth at the back of the restaurant near the restroom, which was perfect. There was enough space for us all and the location was what we preferred. Very accommodating. Our waitress was wonderful and friendly! I believe her name was Selene. She provided exceptional customer service. For lunch, I ordered the avocado salad with chicken and it was amazing! Fresh, quality ingredients, filling, and I liked the seasoning on the chicken. My family ordered the steak tacos, both Mexican and American style, and the breakfast tacos on the brunch menu. We all loved our food! To end the lunch, we had their homemade Tres Leches Cake topped with toasted coconut. It tasted like it came right out of some Abuela's kitchen. It was so good!

Vibes are wonderful 6 years later. Food is still good. It's still a full house. Every. Time. (Granted, it's small lol) Corazon Salad Asked for the beans and rice on the side, and the salad was super yummy with shrimp as protein. The shrimp was scrumptious, fat and juicy. Definitely will have again while on keto. Best Burrito Best of both worlds, I guess. It's not as smothered in sauce like the wet burrito, and it comes with both green and red sauces. Hubby prefers regular over wet, but tried this one, and likes best best. Stuffed Bell Pepper It's so stuffed that you can't see the bell pepper. Had to dig around to see that it did indeed have peppers. Haha. Friend says it had very good taste. To remember, Corazon salad was da bomb.

Food was good! Just wish I had a little more guac and sour cream in my burrito but still tasted good! Cheesy dip with the chips was delicious. I think this is a solid place to eat in Bayview

I met a friend for dinner one Friday night - we got there early thankfully. This location is smaller, and we were in the small section where the bar is. The atmosphere is lively, service was attentive. I ordered the taco truck dinner, and my friend ordered the best burrito. We munched on chips and salsa, which were crispy and yummy, and I ordered the house margarita. Portions were generous- we both took to-go boxes. We enjoyed our food - good Mexican food!

This is our second time eating here. We like the ambiance- it's a funky place. Chips and salsa were really good- our entrees were all good- the torta big and loaded with toppings. The enchilada dinners were filling.

Solid Mexican spot with a cute patio (perfect for a summer day) located in a hip area of the north side of Milwaukee. I walked over here with some friends since they recently bought a home in the area and it was a perfect Sunday lunch spot for us. I ordered one of their wet burritos and it was very filling and delicious. I do have to point out that the green salsa that they have at the table is SOOO good and has a great kick to it. Some people might not be able to handle it, but I loved it so much that I asked for a few containers of it to-go. Soooo good! My Paloma cocktail was a bit watered down so that was the only negative part of coming here, but other than that - highly recommend!

Jesus Christ and really good food are what's waiting for you at this cute little spot! I had never been to this particular location, but I was not disappointed. Due to a last minute change in our dining plans, we decided to come here, but the wait was less than 30 minutes. The entrance is a little crowded with minimal waiting space, but you are welcome to wait at the bar with a drink. Once we were seated, we were initially hit with a mouthwatering smell of fajitas thanks to the table next to us. I ordered their special drink of the day, the tamarind margarita which, to be honest, was the only disappointing part of the dinner. While tasty, the tamarind flavor was very light and barely discernible to my palate. The food, however, was exactly what I wanted and remembered. Of note, the spicy salsa verde that came with the complimentary chips definitely packed a punch (and was equally flavorful) and was available in a bottle for your table! The chips were warm, well seasoned, and tasted great even on its own. The burritos were large (too large for us to finish). My husband got soy chorizo in his which he loved. I got sautéed veggies in mine covered with half and half of red and green enchilada sauce. I enjoyed the green sauce a lot more than the red (which was more smoky). I used the spicy salsa verde as a hot sauce for my burrito and it made it taste even better. I am looking forward to taking my leftovers to work tomorrow - the only reason I'm looking forward to work. We will be back!

The spam omelette was delicious and paired well with the Johnny cakes. The Johnny cakes are massive and we ended up both taking leftovers home of that. The orange blossom syrup was really good with it. Our server was attentive and stayed on top of water refills which was appreciated as it was a warm day to be eating outside. Perfectly cooked medium rare steak with chimichurri, crispy-runny eggs, and excellent potatoes holding it all together. I was standing there waiting for her, like IN HER WAY! Smiling and all! lol this was the worst restaurant I have ever been to. The whole vibe here is that of a toxic work environment, starting with the hostesses that have zero and I mean ZERO interest in your experience as a customer of this establishment. Frankly makes me feel sorry for the owners when they have staff like this working for them. I had to walk away from two drinks we ordered on the way out because of the second hostess's attitude with us!!! She was so rude to the lady that prepared our drinks! Than was rude to us? People just don't understand sometimes that they are in the wrong field and we as customers don't have to put up with their attitude wherever it may be coming from. It's a pass for me, sorry Xavier we won't be coming back! Online it said both kinds of flights were included their special if the day, which was BOGO half off, but the staff told us the bloody flights were not included. We ordered a skillet, burrito, and harvest hash. Everything was great and came out quickly! What the restaurant is lacking is in overall aesthetic and cleanliness. It seems unfinished inside, has chipped paint, the canvas on the seats is ripping, and the floors were quite dirty where we were seated. We visited when there was only an hour left of them being open, and the staff made it seem like they were wanting to close up. Brunch It Up (possibly in the middle of rebranding to just "Brunch.") is a classic breakfast spot in downtown Milwaukee...we were there on a Sunday morning...high brunch time, and were seated quickly upstairs. The place had an overall run-down vibe to it...scuffed paint on the walls and a general feeling of not quite matching the quality of the upscale brunch spot implied by their modern logo. Menus...I normally don't comment on the menu itself but our table featured no less than 4 different menus...the regular menu, a drink menu, a specials menu and a mimosas menu...choices are wonderful, but the immediate reaction is this is a whole mess of menus on the table, and I don't know what to look at first. It felt haphazard. Let's move on to the coffee...Coffee is an essential part of the brunch experience. Even at a diner, you want it to be strong...the mug it came in was nice, but it was weak coffee. I need coffee to kick my butt, and if you're serving what's close to "browned water" at a breakfast place, you're missing the mark. How about the food? I can't fault them for the generosity of the portions, but will say individual dishes were way too much for my wife and I...we wish smaller portions were available, so so much didn't go to waste. My wife had the Egg and Waffle sandwich with waffle fries. It was fine. I had the Harvest Hash made with egg whites...the eggs were a little overcooked. (Egg whites require a thoughtful touch when cooking them so they are finished white and not browning all over.) There are plenty of fresh tomatoes, mushrooms, and peppers in there (I guess that's the extent of the harvest in Milwaukee) The hashbrowns it all sat on were undercooked. We were excited about the croissant beignets...Available were the regular ones with chocolate or strawberry dipping sauce, and a special with a fruit dipping sauce. They couldn't mix and match sauces, so we got the special. They were okay but a bit over-fried, losing the croissant texture altogether ...I mean, there's nothing wrong with deep-fried dough with sweet things to dip them in, but we do wish they hadn't fried the croissant out of them to give us the unique experience implied by the name. The menu has plenty to choose from...every breakfast savory or sweet thing you could imagine...and on the nicely designed, modern-looking menu at looks like it could be amazing...but everything we got, plus the experience of sitting in a place that felt a little rundown, left us overall disappointed.

Their website has a popup on the home page saying it comes with fried haddock, potato pancakes, applesauce, and rye bread, but the popup doesn't list the price and it isn't available through the online ordering function. I ended up calling in an order to go, substituting wheat bread for the rye, and also added a piece of lemon ginger coffee cake. The lemon ginger coffee cake tasted fine, but man was it dry. Like Sahara Desert dry. Maybe this was an anomaly and their other baked goods are better, but I'd be hesitant to try them based on this coffee cake. Even though the website says the side is potato pancakes with applesauce, my fish fry came with fries. They ended up being the best part of the meal, which I certainly wasn't expecting. Still, I was disappointed cause I prefer potato pancakes and was given their inclusion as an expectation. The wheat bread itself was ok, but the butter was oddly unsalted. The fish, of which there was three pieces, was battered with a hint of beer, but like the butter for the bread there was no salt to speak of in the batter. As much as I didn't enjoy the unsalted butter for the bread, not having salt in the batter for the fish managed to be more unpleasant. Maybe Blue's Egg should just stick with serving breakfast items instead of adding something temporary that they clearly aren't pros at.
