    Carne asada

We had no idea that this spot was here. We had been in Ellicottville but there was an event going on in the village so it was very busy and not a lot of parking. We decided it would be easier to find a spot in Springville for lunch. Upon entering our server was happy to serve up 2 strong and tasty margaritas and some fresh chips and salsa. We were starving so we happily snacked while we picked our meals. I ended up with the carne asada and my significant other chose the quesadilla mexicana. Both plates were loaded with food and we each had a 2nd meal for the next day. Both menu options were very flavorful and had authentic seasoning. The only thing I'll mention is almost all of the meat was over cooked. It would have been even better if it was taken off the heat a few minutes earlier. To top it off the prices were very reasonable. Stop by and check it out if you are in the area.

After a nice hike at Scoby Dam, we were in the mood for some Mexican . I noticed a margarita special for $4.95 , who am I to say no to a deal like that? I opted for a peach margarita, it was refreshing and hit the spot. The free salsa and chips were decent.... the salsa was a bit on the spicy side (no complaints here, but for some it may be too hot) and the chips were good but mostly crumbs at the end of the basket. Onto the entrees.... I got the quesadilla Mexicana , but substituted mushrooms for the chorizo , my friends split an entree that was some sort of Mexican trio. I did like that the quesadilla was super cheesy with lots of mushrooms , however no chicken was in it (as described) and it could have been crispier (I had to use a fork and knife for the whole thing) . My friends liked their combo for the most part except for the tamale, they stated was a bit dry. Service was decent, not very busy, somewhat attentive. A mixed bag of an experience, Didn't blow me away, but my stomach was satisfied. Go for the $5 margaritas!

Bamba tacos! So good. Two soft shell tortilla with savory seasoning. Would recommend.

My family is from this area and it's so great to see all of the Buffalo Bills flags and trucks and...tractors. My people. Greeted warmly, seated quickly. Loads of regulars and a general fondness for the place I could see the cooks, cooking. I know that's a silly thing to say. But there is a difference between thawing/heating and cooking. And these folks were COOKING. Flavorful, good drink menu and we may come a time or two more as our home base. A small big thing that may be a shift issue, but the ice cooler had the scooper inside as its home. I've seen this plenty of places and I genuinely don't know that restaurants know the risk. But overall, clean, purposeful and worth the dimes.

I went to lunch with my friend during the week to this popular Mexican Restaurant in Springville New York. I love Mexican food so I skipped breakfast to be sure to have room for a BIG lunch. The food was good. Very authentic. The restaurant serves unlimited fresh tortilla chips and delicious homemade salsa and this comes within minutes of being seated. We both ordered a fresh Jalapeno Margarita (why not, it is 5 o'clock somewhere.....) which were delicious...and I ordered La Parrilla (like fajitas...with flour tortillas, three meats and veggies) and my friend ordered a steak burrito. We also ordered the appetizer of fresh gucamole. The dishes came with refried beans, rice and veggie garnishment. I liked my meal although the the steak was a bit chewy. My friend received a chicken burrito rather than the steak he ordered. The fresh made guacamole was really very creamy and good. I would have given this place 3.5 stars if half stars were available but due to the chewy steak and my friends wrong order (although he said the chicken burrito was quite good!) this experience was downgraded to a three.

Chili relleno, cheese enchilada, rice, beef taco. Yum to all!

Stopped here for lunch after a day of hiking at Sprague Brook. My friend and I both enjoyed our meals. The meal started with warm nachos and cool salsa which was pretty spicy. Very yummy! I enjoyed each part of my combo meal that I had which included... a beef taco, chili relleno, cheese enchilada, and rice. Each part of the meal was amazing! Great service, nice atmosphere. Glad we came here!

This place is fantastic, the food feels fresh and I especially like how if you go with a party they give each person there own cup of salsa.

We were very impressed by the quality of food. It was much more authentic Mexican than many other places. We will be back.

The beans were a tad dry but otherwise a good meal. Ambiance: it's got Christian dive bar ambiance? I sat at a booth with a filthy floor, a large strip of fajita steak (we did not order fajitas) was on the ground in the aisle, and there was food other places on the floor. I also had an incident where my 5 year old got locked in a bathroom stall and couldn't get out, and one of the employees sitting at a booth hanging out eventually came to help me and the screaming child, and said "oh yeah, lots of people have this problem"... which is a sign that they recognize a problem but are not fixing it. Service: there were a lot of employees sitting around, which is fine, but you think they would have time to clean the floors. Our server was good.

They don't have the outer egg batter, which at first was strange but not bad. The whole plate was covered in a thick cheese sauce, which was delicious but a lot of cheese. Our group also had tacos and burritos; everyone seemed happy with their choices. For a Friday night in May, the place was empty. Service was fast, and everyone was nice. We would come back.

We ordered the shrimp fajita to share. First a platter with refried beans, some lettuce salad, pico de gallo, Spanish rice, sour cream and a small scoop of guacamole was brought out. The wraps(3)came out wrapped in foil. Then the sizzling hot platter came out. There were a good number of nicely seasoned shrimp with sautéd peppers and onions, both red and green bell peppers, so quite colorful. The negative was that there was no serving utensil on either the platter with the rice, etc. or the sizzling one. Our waiter was very busy getting out the orders for the rest of our group, se we made due with our forks. A spoon would have made things much easier. By the way, the menu says one complimentary serving of chips and salsa, then a charge for refills. We were a table of eleven; our waiter brought out three bowls of chips and carafes of salsa. In looking around the table, and our friends' empty plates, I think a follow up trip might be necessary.
