This place has been a staple of the Suntree area for a very long time. I have probably eaten here more than any other Mexican restaurant in the area. Not because it's the best, but because it's close, decent, and well priced. We mostly eat lunch here. My normal go to is a lunch special consisting of an enchilada and a taco, along with the beans and rice. I also get a taco on the side most of the time. The enchilada is usually kind of small. The food has actually gotten a bit less flavorful over the years. We are there today and the food was very bland. Very little seasoning on the food. I've never had to add salt or hot sauce, but had to today. The salsa they serve with the chips is par for the course. You will need to ask for spicy if you want a kick to it. The stuff they bring out is very mild (to me). The well brand liquor margaritas are typical for a place like this. You can also get 1/2 gallons of them to go. Soda is $2.50, so get one to go. They also charge for club soda, so be aware. Kids eat free on Sundays. But beware, half the time they "forget" to take the kids meals off. Make sure you look at your check. All in all, it's not the greatest, but it's not the worst. Service is always fast. We have never had to wait for food. They are always friendly and never get an attitude. read more

My husband and I got the fajitas for two chicken and beef and whoever heard of this dish coming out from the kitchen and not even sizzling on the cast iron hot plate? it was only JUST HOT. 'The Chicken and beef were dried out and tasteless and the marinade was very sparse.....Then we got the whole beans instead of the refried beans My portion was fine. My husbands was not it was watery and just a few beans and like they were from the bottom of the pot then let's move on to the lettuce, sour cream, and guacamole and I'm like what lettuce ????? it was like a tablespoon full !!!! and then the rice was very sparse !!!! also so we told the waitress what's up with the kitchen is there like a 15 year-old cook making this stuff ??? said no real authentic trained cooks and I said what's up with the portions this looks like a kids portion I know there's hard times these days but the jacked up prices we're paying for this ....This is just unacceptable and not what you expect from an establishment ..... after explaining all my discontent with what was brought out from the kitchen she went back to the kitchen to bring me some more rice and again I'll note our waitress was a sweetheart very understanding in my opinion a very valuable employee , and then we usually get tomato with jalapeño with our dinners again there wasn't any ??? After bringing this to our waitresses attention someone from the kitchen brought out a small plastic sample cup with jalapeño and a little bit of tomato but again the portion size wasn't that great This is the sun tree location. We've been to the original small location in West Melbourne it's always been very very good and delicious and the portions are great. There are three locations. We haven't been to the Wickham Road one in Melbourne so I can't say how they are, but if I have a choice, I will not go back to the sun tree location we won't be back to spend my hard earned money in this establishment and we will stick to the West Melbourne one until something changes there and will bring a review of that location ,but again we will not return to sun tree restaurant nor would I recommend to anyone i'm giving it one star and one star only. read more

Got food poisoning here on 7/5/26. We went around 4pm and passed thru the kitchen to get to our table, the kitchen was disgusting to say the least. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered our food. Kids got carne asada, adults got chicken tacos and carnitas tacos. The person that ate the carnitas kept saying they tasted "not great" and we blamed it on the seasoning. A few our later, fully sick, diarrhea throw up, chills stomach pain. I would never ever go there again and the service was awful to add to matters. read more

Walked in and tried this place on Margarita Monday $3.99 all day. Atmosphere is wonderful. The chips and salsa came out and the salsa was a very thin liquid soup with small bits of cilantro, hardly any salsa. The flautas appetizers were very good, larger than I'm use to, but tasted great. The meals came out and were presented well. My tacos came covered in onions, after a bit of a disagreement with the waiter I just decided to pick them out. There were a ton of onions (see picture). Even though the waiter disagreed with me that I said No Onions, No Tomatoes, No Lettice he ended up bringing 3 new tacos out after I was done eating. While it wasn't the best way to treat an upset customer at the time, he did try his best to make it right later. I ate one of the new tacos that had no onions. It is kind of odd they don't have cheese on their tacos. All the food tasted great and I would come back and try this place again. Took a star away for the watery salsa. read more

Food looked great but chicken was dry. Margaritas $3 on Monday very strong were good. The guacamole was very good also. They were understaffed but our server stayed on top of it. I will start this review with some information. I work close to this place and I have been going there literally every single weekday for lunch for years. I usually avoid Cinco De Mayo because it's always so crowded. I went last year and don't recall how much I paid for my meal. When I go there throughout the year, I get a frozen house margarita and one chicken taco. Tuesday through Friday, my bill is $8.27; on Monday, because it's Margarita Monday, my bill is $6.27. Fast forward to this year. I went to have my usual lunch and was told that I could not order my à la carte taco, they were only doing full meals. So I skipped lunch. I got my bill for ONE HOUSE margarita and it was $8.77. So for one house margarita on cinco de mayo, I paid more than I do for my lunch on any other day. Ordered takeout, and it was very disappointing. The chicken fajita platter lacked flavor, very bland, and only 3 tortillas is not enough for a fajita platter. I also ordered the Azteca soup that I've had at the restaurant, one of the better tasting foods, but I got a 16 oz soda cup for the same price. Last night, my husband picked up takeout from a local restaurant. He ordered a burrito, jalapeño poppers, and a cheese quesadilla for me, along with some margaritas to go, which came in small jugs. When we unpacked the order at home, we were disappointed to find that the jalapeño poppers were missing, even though we had paid for them. The burrito was unappetizing, resembling a flat pancake with very little filling and lacking in flavor. I tried one of the margaritas, but it tasted overwhelmingly like mix and not at all like a proper margarita--too tart and unpleasant, which made me feel nauseous. Unfortunately, my husband considered returning to the restaurant to address the issues, but it was late and we live 30 minutes away. Given this experience, we won't be going back. Headed out for a dinner with friends. And it was ​pretty good. The restaurant was very big and on the way to the table,​ we got a tour of the waitress station. We ordered up a wide variety of entrees and the food came out pretty quick. My burrito was very good and the portions on all the meals were​ a good value. They seemed to have a pretty good early bird crowd and our waitress was able to keep up. The margarita special was two for 7 bucks...they were very strong and they forgot the salt. Had to send them back. Overall it was a pretty good experience. But still lacking behind the competition due to lack of attention to detail. Super quick casual Tex-mex restaurant, with a few chains in Brevard. They serve your regular fajitas, chicken and steak asadas, burritos, flautas, enchiladas, trio platter, with seafood options - I've tried a bunch of everything from the menu. It's definitely Tex Mex emphasis on the style since it's not like authentic tasting Mexican cuisine, but it's American Mexican - if that's a cuisine lol. Good drinks, good food, good prices. Margs are usually 2 for 7 , the Long Island was heavy on the tequila side, margaritas strawberry and mango are really good, again heavy on the liquor side lol but that's the point right? Oh and I've tried green tea shots from here as well pretty good bar selection apparently but friendly staff, attentive manager, Clean establishment. I will NEVER step foot in this place again . One of my pet peeves is a restaurant charging a credit card fee. This is one of the worst business decisions you could possible make. Accepting credit cards is part of doing business. Deal with it. Be smart and eat it. Sure, you made $2 on me today but guess what, you lost my business forever. Unfortunately, the customer service as well as the staff's attention to detail has severely waned over the past several years. I used to work in the building next door, and eat here all the time. The experience was always good. I was in the neighborhood yesterday and stopped by to order 1 item (hot salsa with chips) to go. However, when I got home, Claudia did not even get that correct. I was given a watery, runny non-spicy salsa and I had to make a second trip to get it corrected. I spoke to the manager, but he was disinterested and spoke to me as though I were inconveniencing him by returning to get the order corrected. I will NOT be going to that Suntree location ever again. We were very disappointed. This was our first time eating there. We always noticed a lot of cars parked there so we decided to give it a try. Terrible food! The chips they served tasted like they were cooked with old oil. It left you with an aftertaste. We ordered the steak and chicken combo fajitas for two. Tasteless! We had to add salt and pepper. The beef had an odor to it and a bad flavor. The texture was strange too. I don't think that was beef. We had the flan for dessert and that was good. The waiter and decor were ok. There are three locations for Fiesta Azteca in Brevard County. The original on the corner of Wickham Rd. and Sarno Rd. and the second on US-192 in front of Lucky's. The third one is located in Suntree. You would think all three would at least be on par with each other in quality. Unfortunately, that is not the case. With that in mind, the Suntree location -- the one I am reviewing today -- is probably the weakest of the three. For starters, the location of Fiesta Azteca in Suntree (I'll abbreviate it to FA Suntree for the rest of the review) is peculiar: a business building. Turning into its private parking lot is also weird as there is no direct entry in front of the building itself. You have to drive about 50 feet north of the building for the entrance. Atmosphere-wise, it is definitely one in the franchise. FA Suntree has the feel the other two have. However, it smells like the place was drenched in sanitizing water. This might be because the entry between the kitchen and eating area is quite large without any doors or curtain separating them. At least it is clean which includes the restrooms. The food is generally good but there were some issues too. The biggest being the cooked pork for my enchiladas were too dry. It lacked the succulent juices that often accompany pulled pork cooked Mexican style. Also, I did not have enough tortillas for the amount of pork and fillings given on my plate. On the upside though, there is a lot of food in which it is a bang for your buck. Ultimately, FA Suntree is an a-okay joint for Mexican food. It is the weakest of the three but that doesn't mean it is bad. And compared to Francisco's located at the corner of Lake Washington Rd. and Wickham Rd., it doesn't hold a candle in flavor. Despite this, I do not mind stopping in if I am hankering Mexican (mostly Tex Mex) food if I happen to be in the area. read more

Confession: I have lived in Brevard County since 1980 and have NEVER been to a Fiesta Azteca restaurant. And I live close to the Suntree location! I came here for the first time with a friend who is very familiar with Fiesta Azteca(s) a week ago. My first impression upon arrival was how lovely the decor is. So very colorful and happy! Clean as well. Also the music was hispanic, mostly salsa style selection with a merengue song or two thrown in. More happiness!! But, for me the REAL TEST is how the ENCHILADAS are prepared! Let me say they passed MY test and I am now back for lunch a week later. Yummy. And as another reviewer noted Tex -Mex style. Which as a frequent traveler through the Houston area they are every bit as good as a family owned restaurant that has been around a loooong time in the Houston area. With this second visit I decided to do a review. I arrived at 11:50 and within a minute ( not even? ) my waitress was there to take my drink order. Then literally a minute later another young lady brought out a basket of warm chips and salsa dip. I'm not a big fan of salsa but must mention my friend couldnt get enough of the salsa last week. Three stars for their margaritas & chips & salsa. Two maybe one star for the cook. I really wanted to like this place, but twice now they can't even make my daughters bean & she's burrito right. Yup that's what I said m, bean & cheese only. Twice now it's come out cheese not melted, last time we told our server, she said "oh, do you want me to take it back and put in the microwave for you? " Now I know that's how they're probably gonna do it, but saying something like that was just weird. That's what happens when you don't put the cheese on the hot beans and let it melt. One word describes this place "bland" food. I ordered the fajita trio for two and the entire thing tasted like they boiled it in water and then threw it on a grill with no seasoning. I even went as far as to order queso to try and dip the meat in to give it flavor. This is the first time I've ever encountered queso that had no flavor. I told the waitress it had no flavor and was nasty so she brought me my check charged me for everything and said have a good day. And lastly, I've gotten bigger proportions at other restaurants when I ordered a single fajita meal, but apparently here a double is half of what you get in other places when you order a single. There are other dishes must be good because there's no way this place gets stay open with food that sucks this bad. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back to find out. This is the only Mexican food place we've found that has foods close to Tex-Mex you'd expect in Texas. Hubs likes it a lot, I'm a little pickier. Chicken tastes like it comes from a can, but the tacos, beef chimichanga, and queso are delish. Service is hit and miss, just depends on who you get and how busy they are. But no one has ever been noticeably friendly with us. Just there providing service. The place always looks like it could use a good cleaning. Super concerning if the front of house looks like it's dirty, imagine the back of house. We will keep coming - until we find something cleaner and fresher and friendlier. Disappointing service and food was mediocre. The beef super burrito tasted like the color orange. And my sweet tea was not sweet at all. When the server brought our food 1 got the wrong tortillas and the other's meat for the fajitas was delayed. She did not come to check on us, and it took a good 15 mins before we flagged down the hostess and she went to get it sorted. A different server brought out our food/tortillas. Another 15 and we flagged a different server down for water. She then came over and asked about us and gave us a half apology/half excuse.
