    Kale Salad
    Adam D.

Nice spot. The layout and vibe is casual and comfortable. The salad was solid and the Margarita Pizza (crispy) was delicious! I wanted the Detroit style but my better half won the battle. I'm happy they offer 3 non-alcoholic beers and Root Beer. The NIPA I had was excellent. Fieldwork has been the best Bay Area brewery since the first location in Berkeley opened. The story about the owner and name are cool too.

Granted it's in a bougie strip mall but our introduction to Fieldwork was everything you would want it to be! Great service, tasty food, plenty of choices and delicious beer! We cannot wait for Fieldwork to open in Montgomery Village/Santa Rosa!! We opted for a flight and though each beer hit the spot, Pulp and Painted Gold were my top favorites! Hubby did go home with a 4 pack but had a hard time deciding between the hazys. For food, we wanted something to tide us over till dinner so we opted for the garlic fries and fried cauliflower. The pool of oil on the tray under the cauliflower had me nervous but all in all, the flavor and crispness were on point. The fries were hot, crispy and good, but not at all "garlicy" so that would be my onlllllyy negative. Parmesan, yes. Garlic, no. (I think fresh garlic is always the best option so maybe I'm picky.) But we were here for the beer and that super! Nice introduction to what my husband is calling his "new favorite!"

This is the second location I've visited and it didn't let me down. They have very good pizza and beer too! I did a flight and took a 4-pack to go. Service was good and place was clean. This is a good brewery to check out. If it was closer, I'd be a regular.

Whenever my family and I visit Marin County, we always make it a point to stop by for some beer and pizza; it's fantastic how kid and pet friendly they are, making our family outings even better. They offer a wonderful variety of fruity sours and delicious alcoholic slushies, perfect for the summer heat. I tried a wine slushie and theBlueberry Parfait. My husband opted for a flight since he couldn't pick just one, as they all sounded so appealing to him. To start, we ordered the Garlic fries and honey Calabrian baked wings. They arrived quickly and were sizzling hot. Their pizza selection is impressive, with really creative toppings; since we had our little one with us, we chose the classic pepperoni, and it was fantastic! The ambience is always amazing at the shopping center. Staff is friendly and bathrooms are kept clean.

There's a lot of upside and comparing to other brewpubs, it's definitely in the top 20%. The portions a large and the prices are fair so the value is good. I got the chicken Caesar wrap and a double IPA and it was quite enjoyable. Service was quick and personable using the QR code. There was only one service person so online ordering is the way to go. The venue is nice and parking is free and easy. I'd eat here again.

Came in during the week after a hike. Not busy at all. Service was super fast. We had the Bare Knuckle pizza, half without the bacon because my daughter is a vegetarian. It was delicious!!! Love the garlic white sauce with the bacon and tater tots. Crust was perfect, not too hard. I don't normally like pickles but the fried pickles were good. We brought our dog with us and it was nice that they allowed dogs inside and not only outside.

Great beer selection. Food is also above average for a brewery with healthy selections. First time here at this location in Corte Madera. Came to Larkspur for an errand and searched for a brewery- glad a familiar one popped up. The Don Picante Porter is fire!

Delivery boy thick crust and the raspberry park
    Tiffany V.

My dad and I really enjoy the pizza and Caesar salad here so we decided to stop by and order the delivery boy but this time we got the thicker crust version which was super yummy. Their Caesar salad is always so good and well dressed, plus it's a perfect size to share. I'm not really a beer girl but I was in the mood for one so I decided to try Greetings from Raspberry park and it was actually quite good. This place is the perfect spot for a casual lunch/dinner

Best beers in the world? Quite possibly. You'd have to go all the way to Santa Rosa to compare it to anything even close in quality and taste. Maybe Henhouse or Russian River come to mind IF I were to compare but only to illustrate the caliber of product we have here at Fieldwork. Catch a Flight, pick your poison. With 26 on tap today there's bound to be one tailored to your liking. (IPA lot ) when I come here. Cheers and thank me later.

Father's Day pizza and hefeweizen during the mid-afternoon lull. Though there were only two of us, we were able to sit at the large outdoor table between the two front doors and nicely protected from the wind. Corte Madera Town Center can be very breezy even on a sunny day. Having read enthusiastic reviews, we ordered the Delivery Boy pizza and it was very good, crispy crust, the right amount of toppings, the pepperoni also thin and crispy. The barman was kind and took my order at the bar as I am not the demographic for the QR code scanning thing. Highly recommend Fieldwork, nice outdoor seating in the middle of Town Center, great beer selection and pizza and friendly staff!

    Kay K.

grateful for clearly labeled vegan options! they sounded enticing so we got 2 pizzas to go, but honestly they were a bit disappointing. the sauce was thin/minimal and not super flavorful.

Ask the Community - Fieldwork Brewing Company

    Do they serve non-alcoholic beer?

I've never seen a non alcoholic beer on their menu

No vegan options on your menu. If your crust and sauce are vegetarian can you source cashew cheese to be vegan friendly?

My fiance is vegan and we eat here all the time. Just ask your server what they can do for you. They always have a bunch of vegan pizza options (just no vegan cheese but still super tasty).

Is the Corte Madera location kid friendly?

Yes! Well behaved adults and children are always welcome. Cheers!

It took almost 10 minutes after we arrived for someone to greet us- not sure why. However we were seated outdoors as we requested which was appreciated. The decor is bright with gorgeous colored tiles. The menu looked terrific, however we weren't provided the special vegan menu without asking for it. Wow, we were impressed with the dishes listed. We started with the chips & salsas- the chips were just as I like them; thin, crispy with salt. My sister had the vegan enchiladas and her husband the vegan pozole which he raved about. My son had the trio of carnitas tacos and was quite satisfied. I thoroughly enjoyed the veggie (not vegan as I love my queso) chile rellenos - they were divine. The sauce was perfectly flavored. We shared the churros for dessert- a bit disappointed as they were not crispy & a bit doughy on the inside. Our server was friendly and the prices were reasonable. All in all a great experience and would return.

A few minutes later I saw the host and she said oh yea we got a table for two adults and 3 lil kiddos! This is a pro (considering in SF you can wait up to half an hour!). Shout out to the chefs, Youssef- quirky guy, and Khephra- loved that she chatted w the kiddos! Sweet folks who were attentive, personable, quick to respond to whatever the boss babies needed! They even brought out slices of oranges since the kiddos were eyeing it in our Old Fashioned cocktails! Happy the food came out quick! Youssef even recommended dessert and brought out the bread pudding - never considered dessert but he knew this would make the boss babies happy (couldn't take a pic, was gone in seconds!). Overall, Hog Island is your go to for personable service, oysters, and the bread pudding *drool* .* Satisfied with the outdoor seating situation and how quick the drinks and cocktails came out. The remodeled outdoor patio is really something to behold- it's a beautiful cozy setting, especially on a warm evening. For several years now this has been just about my favorite spot to go to in the bay area and certainly my number one Marin spot! Sometimes just to sit at the bar and have a nice exquisite craft cocktail is a complete joy. She told me that she had read my review and asked what it is I would like to discuss, as if we were about to enter into negotiation, rather than simply admitting fault and reimbursing me for their mistake as any other high-end and low-end restaurant would do in this situation. The manager told me that I should have spoken up last night and have asked for the steak to be reheated. Lol! She then said that it was me who should've caught the mistake on the bill, and that I shouldn't have posted my review. She also said that I should've called the restaurant when I noticed the bill which would've be impossible because I noticed it at midnight. She put the blame on me when I did nothing wrong in this scenario. She tried to make me feel bad about posting the review and made me feel as if it was I was the one that mishandled the entire situation, rather than accepting full responsibility. Eventually, I stood up for myself during the phone call and put the blame back on the restaurant, at which point she realized that maybe she and the restaurant staff that night did do something wrong. Spoiler alert! When that revelation crossed her mind, she offered to partially reimburse me for the cheaper steak that I originally ordered. The steak that they brought out afterwards... I still had to pay for it. Everything so far is clearly being handled correctly. I said that I would like everything reimbursed from that meal and after ten minutes of talking on the phone, she offered to reimburse me for the more expensive steak and the tip from that night, which should have been done in the first place without any of this. As if the situation couldn't get any juicier, she informed me that the kitchen staff have ongoing issues with temperature control on the steaks. Since they want to be petty, I'll be petty too. I saw many servers bagging the crudities that they bring out with their avocado hummus with their bare hands. The avocado hummus station is in the middle of the entire restaurant mind you. This is a bad look for the only dish that seems to be keeping this place afloat.

An employee tried to explain it when we arrived, but after we chose to sit inside, we were first seated in the wrong area and then moved to the back where the pizza is served. Not exactly the smoothest start. The food was good, but a bit pricey for what it was. We ordered the mushroom pierogies (which was misspelled on the menu) and a pizza. Both were tasty, but neither was memorable enough to make me feel the prices were justified. Service, on the other hand, was very good. Our server was friendly and attentive. The strangest part was the seating. We were placed next to a service area hidden behind a curtain, except the curtain did nothing to block the noise. We could hear all the conversations going on behind it, and there seemed to be a lot of unnecessary drama happening back there. It gave the whole meal an oddly uncomfortable vibe. Penne for Your Thoughts…read more Cal-Italian restaurant in the quaint town of Larkspur that's celebrating its twentieth anniversary this year. Picco blends the best of California with locally sourced and fresh produce with classic and modern takes on Italian dining. They are also Michelin recognized, as they've been Bib Gourmand winners ('21-23) in the past, and are currently "Recommended." The Good: * Reservations via OpenTable * Free street and City-owned lots available but there are time limitations, so check the signage. * They also run a pizzeria (Pizzeria Picco) literally right next door if you'd rather have a pie than pasta. * Outdoor dog-friendly seating * Waitstaff was fantastic and friendly. * Also has a bar if you just want to come in for a drink or three. * Local brews on tap, as well as a full oeuvre of alcoholic beverages. * They're known for their changing seasonal risotto, and after one bite, it was easy to see why! It was simply fantastic, as the rice was cooked perfectly and the fresh spring flavors in ours shone. * Carissa loved her King Salmon and veggies, as the fish was cooked perfectly. I ordered a daily special with house-made pappardelle noodles and smoked beef short ribs, and while it looked like a hot mess, it was fantastic. The noodles were thick and held up well to the assertive smoke and flavor of the beef--just a perfect dish in my opinion.. The Meh: * The Polenta-Crusted Artichoke Hearts appetizer was just OK. I liked the crunch and how they tried to present them as chicken wings, but they ate a little dry and the coating needed more seasoning. Fortunately, their concomitant aioli was able to save the day. The Ugly: * Not the biggest restaurant, and with the brick walls, it can get raucous in there fairly easily, especially if a large post-wedding party shows up to the bar to get sauced. Conclusion: Fantastic spot for a date night or any other occasion with great ambiance, service, and, most importantly, food. Highly recommended.
