Fidel's Peruvian Chicken is a delicious chicken spot in Montgomery County. They have amazing Peruvian style rotisserie chicken. The green hot sauce is the same as other chicken spots but their yellow sauce has extra seasoning and is one of the best I've had. The chicken is well seasoned. The customer service was outstanding i will definitely be back to check out there menu.

Ceviche Mixto (~$20)

We ordered takeout for dinner and I would order from here again. I ordered the Ceviche Mixto (~$20; came with a mix of squid, shrimp, and fish). The ceviche was fresh, bright, and acidic. There was a good mix of seafood and generous amounts of red onion. The dish was supposed to come with a side of sweet potato and corn, but they were out of corn and asked if we were okay with them substituting the corn with yucca fries instead (we were fine with that). All entrees came with yellow and green dipping sauces. Both were tasty and great for dipping the yucca fries in. The yucca fries sure were meaty! We also ordered the Grilled Cordero (lamb chops; ~$23) and Carne Asada (skirt steak; $20). Both entrees came with two sides and were also served on a bed of white rice topped with salsa. They didn't ask what temperature we wanted the meat cooked for either of the dishes, but they were both nice and tender and plenty flavorful. The lamb chops were on the tiny side, which would be my only complaint. For sides, we ordered yucca fries, cilantro rice, and plantains. The cilantro rice is more green and spiced than cilantro flavored. The plantains were sweet and crispy. We called and ordered in advance; online ordering is also available. Food was made quickly and our order was accurately packaged. Fidel's is a nice Peruvian option in the Colesville area.

Ceviche had a nice kick to it, and the people are very nice! I recommend the chicha morada as well. The tallarin saltado is solid I got it with shrimp 10/10!

Friendly staff, excellent chicken, great chicken and fried rice. There's a noticeable lack of a soda machine here, so think about buying that two liter bottle! Also, no Coke Zero.

The shop at the end of this Plaza has sat vacant for ages, and I was glad to see something move into it. Stopping in, I was even more glad it was this place. There's no shortage of Peruvian chicken restaurants in the area. Heck, there's several within walking distance of this place. It's a tough niche to be in, and it's hard to set a restaurant apart. So, what sets this one apart? One word. Smoke. They're smoking the chicken, which adds tremendous flavour, and is incredibly good. I'm not sure if it's actually smoking, or just if they use a lot more during the grill, but it's delicious. The chicken just fell apart. The sides were awesome. If I had to stretch for some negatives: They could use a soda fountain. Only cans, and they're expensive ($2).... for someone who needs a coke to wash the food down, it isn't great. The sauces were great, and a little different. But. The sauce portions -- especially for a half chicken -- were a little light. But, the food was fantastic. And in can pop next door to Quench for a drink after.

So glad this place is in walking distance from the house. There are a lot of Peruvian chicken places in the area but this one stands apart. The chicken falls off the bone and has incredible flavor. The sauces are also great. I liked both but really enjoyed the yellow one. Sides were the only thing a bit lacking. I wanted rice and beans but unfortunately you have to order two separate sides - one rice and one beans, if you want that as they don't serve them together as many other places do. The fried yuca was very tasty, especially in the sauces. I'm very much looking forward to eating more chicken and trying out some of the other Latin bites!

Great food. Big portions. Friendly staff. Basic tables and chairs, no frills, but that doesn't matter when the food is so tasty!

Flavorful chicken and decent-sized sides. It's a good place to pick up a meal for the family.

The chicken was juicy but the garlic was too overpowering for me. The plantains were a little to hard for my liking.

Tacos will run about four bucks a piece, but they are totally worth it. My wait time was about 10 minutes for my three tacos. Also, the tacos are jammed packed with plenty of meat and other fixings. Since the restaurant (or maybe it's more of an eatery) has only two tables, it might be a bit tough to dine in. During my visit, most folks seemed to order their tacos to go. Fortunately for me, there was one available table so I could enjoy my tacos inside rather than having to eat them in my car (something that I hate doing). I was even pleasantly surprised that my tacos were served on a real plate. I was expecting something like a styrofoam container, like how the taco trucks do it. While I would not go out of my way (more than 10-15 minutes), I definitely would visit again the next time I have a taco craving and in the area.

I gambled with this place due to distance from the building I was working at. Boy did that gamble pay off! This place has really good food. I think it's more Central American flavor than actual Tex-Mex, but it was really good! Their Chicken tamales being wrapped in banana leaves rather than corn husks was different. But I loved the hint on sweetness in the tamales! This place won't disappoint, even for a Texan traveling to this area. Keep up the awesome work Katy's Tex-Mex!!

Dining with kids can be challenging, so it's always nice when restaurants and staff are accommodating. The staff at Sabor Mixteca went above and beyond that. They were super fast with their service, but also showed warmth and kindness the entire time that made the meal delightful. The decor in the restaurant is vibrant and fun. They also had a clean, well-kept bathroom. The food was great. Everything came out in a timely manner and was excellently flavored and balanced. You could tell that this wasn't just like your run-of-the-mill taco joint. The flavors had a depth (especially the guisado) that brought things up a notch. But, like I was saying - although the food was great and memorable, I was really appreciative of how awesome the staff was and would love visiting again if we're in the area. Would definitely recommend.

Everything else was delicious. My shrimp tacos were full and had great flavor. They fell apart while eating them, maybe if they had less sauce or the tortilla was grilled a little more it would have held up but they were so good I didn't even mind it. Our kids and my partner loved all of their food as well.

I have tried some Mexican & Pan-Latin food many times before, but never from real restaurant. This is first time for me, and I'm already hooked now. This place is very close to my home but I just had paid attention on their menu and it looks so variety, yummy and interesting. I choose Carne Asada, that the famous one I heard among their food. It was really tasty with marinated and grilled perfectly, (medium), so that make me quite sure others their dishes will be great too. I ordered take out, so I can't say much about the service, anyway everything went smoothly, food was ready for picking up when I arrived and the staff knew their job right away. Moreover, I could see inside the restaurant, it is so charming and lively decoration. (As bar style) It is spacious dining room and some patio seats are available outside. Very convenient to stop by, and huge free parking lots at Layhill Shopping Center.
