High level, they will misquote you and Jack up prices, steal your couch cushions, and destroy your home. #1: I initially received a quote to clean my sectional at $139. When the guy arrived, he discussed what he would be doing, then told me the price was $500. I eventually ended up paying $250 (which I'm still not sure why) #2: Machine explodes in my house. The guy calls downstairs and says "I'm not sure if I'm going crazy, but is it smokey in here?" As the entire room is covered in smoke. This led to black soot all over my living room, which I had to have professionally cleaned as a result. #3: Since the job was half done and the machine broke (which I was very understanding about) the guy said he would bring the remaining cushions and seats with him and bring them back first thing the next morning. He did not, and we went the entire weekend without a couch (the first weekend I hosted my Boss over-great impression) #4: After reaching out multiple times to figure out if my couch was stolen, I finally get a message 4 days later saying they will be dropping the couch off. Also that the GM would call me to apologize (it's been over 6 days, and I've followed up multiple times to no avail) #5: The guy finally comes to drop off the cushions, and literally left them outside in plastic bags. Literally every step in the process was awful. And frankly, I would've been easy going about it if I didn't feel like they were trying to pull a bait and switch on pricing.

When I called, the gentleman I spoke to was apologetic and reasonable, but informed me the cleaners retain the right to refuse service if they think the area is too dirty to clean properly. Understandable, but in my case, absurd. The cleaner didn't even look around, and there is no way my apartment met some "uncleanable" threshold. It's pretty clear from the initial message, this cleaner didn't want to work today and found an excuse not to. I was both unhappy with and insulted by my experience with these cleaners, I strongly recommend you look elsewhere.

But I…read morehave nothing but positive things to say about our recent experience with Stanley Steemer (from this location) and the gentleman (actually named Stan, haha!) who came and performed the cleaning. We booked the appointment directly from their website which was convenient & receive an email confirmation not long after that. They were running a nice special of $100 to clean the carpets in 2 rooms & a hall. The only thing we had to add is a staircase. The thing that sealed the deal is they will move most furniture (see their website for details, they don't move things like entertainment centers, tv's & beds, etc.) AND put it back on protective blocks or pads before they leave! That price more than made up for us not having to deal with renting a machine & moving the furniture ourselves (probably injuring our backs moving our big couch & loveseat in the process!). Stan was such a great guy! Professional and friendly. He was even available to arrive a little early and called us ahead to be sure that would be okay. He took the time to look over the areas to be cleaned and explain the process and offered us helpful tips & info before he left. In all he was in & out within an hour. Had we done this ourselves it would have taken half a day, I'm sure. He also mentioned the furniture and tile cleaning services they offer for future reference. The carpets look brand new again (carpet is currently 2 years old & we have 2 cats) and we are very pleased with the level of cleaning. Their vacuum system really sucks up a great deal of the moisture from the cleaning and everything was dry within 4 - 8 hours, depending on the room (but their site does say it may take up to 24 hours for it to completely dry).
