I thought that was very reasonable because I'd been given the exact same quote by Chicago Couch Cleaning. However, CCC stated that there was a minimum $300 fee, so I should have something else cleaned as well. That was a no-go, so I called SN Cleaning. Why would I pay $300 when the actual service I wanted only cost $168?? That makes no sense. Also, Chicago Couch Cleaning uses an AI assistant to book their appointments. Sure, ruin the planet so you can save money by not hiring an actual person! So, that was another strike for me. The young lady who took my appointment with SN Cleaning was professional and polite, which is important to me. I called SN Cleaning on a Monday and was able to schedule an appointment for Thursday morning. Dimitri came out and apologized for being a tad late. He was polite and respectful. I live in a condo, so he explained that he'd have to clean my chairs in the entryway of my building because the equipment was too heavy and cumbersome to carry up multiple flights of stairs. He carried the chairs down quickly without a problem and got to work. He cleaned the chairs within thirty minutes. They looked fantastic when he was done. He said they'd take 4-6 hours to dry and that I'd see the results better once the chairs were completely dry. The chairs are clean and look much better than before. I've had the chairs for seven years and this is the first time they've been professionally cleaned, so I certainly didn't expect a miracle. They're not perfect but I wasn't expecting perfection. I'm thoroughly satisfied with the results. I will definitely call SN Cleaning again in the future.

It was one of the first things I planned to replace. But after one cleaning, CCG completely brought it back to life and it looks brand new. I have two big dogs, so I have them come about every nine months and they consistently do the wall-to-wall carpet in my basement and the stairs up to the first floor as well as my couch. And the couch is done cushion by cushion and pillow by pillow. Both the carpet and the couch always look brand new after they leave. Sporadically, I have also hired them to clean other pieces of furniture that I don't use that often - to an amazing end. And recently, they started doing my custom runner up the stairs from my first to second floor. I was a little nervous about it at first as it has custom canvas trim - but again - looks fabulous. Can't recommend them enough. I have been lucky enough to have Zach and Valodia do my service that past few times and they are always on time, pleasant, professional, and really good at what they do.

My living room rug is sixteen years old. I have almost ruined it trying to clean it myself. I was…read moreafraid to have it cleaned because it could have turned out badly. So I tried shopping first. At my favorite furniture store I found a very pretty rug. However it's Polypropylene. Yikes! My rug is silk. So I took the gamble and hired Northcenter Rug Cleaners because they did a great job on my girlfriend's rug. My rug turned out really good too. And I saved money. The new plastic rug sans delivery costs the same as getting mine cleaned & delivered. Just chatting with the delivery men I found out they sell rugs too! This is a good company. I really recommend them.

If you are considering trusting Northcenter Rug Cleaners with a fine or high-value area rug, read…read morethis carefully and inspect other 1-star reviews detailing similar damage before dropping off your property. I brought in my 100% natural Tibetan wool rug to get cleaned. Nothing particular was wrong with it; I just wanted routine maintenance. Well, it came back with stains on the back and a long blue stain on the edge. The gentleman at the store was upset, said he didn't know how it happened, and mentioned that it happened to three other customers that same day. I assumed it was just some cleaning material left behind and that whatever bleeding was on the back would come out. I waited another 1.5 weeks to get the rug back, and I was told by the manager, Stephanie, that the rug was totally clean and good to go. I came in to pick it up and I thought the blue stain was gone--they almost fooled me. But upon closer inspection, the stain was still there, and there was something more: in order to try to hide it, they had the audacity to cut off the wool strands of the rug to try to get rid of the blue stain, literally giving it a buzz cut along the edge. In the words of Stephanie herself: "We would never cut a rug, AND even if we would..." She contradicted herself immediately. Luckily, I have photo and video evidence that makes it crystal clear that not only did they damage the rug by allowing color to bleed (cleaner error, not a manufacturer defect), but they doubled down and tried to hide it by cutting the long fibers on the edge. They tried to blame the blue stain on a manufacturer defect but that's 100% false. First of all the tag they say caused the bleed is across both sides of the rug, and the stain is only on half the rug's edge on one side. Two, wool rugs can have dye run when either the wrong temperature or wrong pH is used, which causes the damage. This is 100% operator (Northcenter Rug) error. If you look at other reviews you can see that I'm far from an isolated incident. Never a single apology from their management, or an offer to make things right. When I requested reimbursement for the rug they destroyed, they declined. Before taking things further, I tried to resolve it with the principals of the company and reached out directly to the owner, who told me he's not involved, that his daughter Stephanie runs it, and then laughed and told me "good luck." Instead of taking accountability, their management had the nerve to send me an email a few days later telling me there would be no further discussion, to "stop harassing them," and cautioning me that if I "disrupted their business" when picking up the rug, they would call the authorities. They destroyed an $11k rug, and I didn't even raise my voice once. Gaslighting much? I have full high-resolution macro photography and video documenting both the chemical dye migration and the mechanical fiber shearing. The first pictures show the blue stain that shows up from their messed up chemical process, and the second one shows those fibers get the snip snip to try to make it seem like they solved the issue. And as you can see on the receipt, they made no remarks of any damage or issues with the rug when they first received it. Nor do the photo(s) they took show any damage or irregularities with my rug. Despite asking that they share the photos they had, they refused. Also attaching the receipt so you can see they left no remarks and had me sign nothing.
