Fabulous experience! They cleaned every inch of our new house, inside appliances, drawers, shelves, all of it. I've already hired them for another project read more

We moved into our new construction home and were in desperate need of a deep cleaning. The air in our home was filled with dust and sawdust. Our home had that wonderful "new build smell", but it was making me sick. We reached out to Ecogenie and were so thankful we did. Richard was quick to come over, provided a transparent quote and shared all the steps him and his team would be taking to ensure we'd be breathing fresh air again soon. The team was professional, thorough and they delivered on their promise. After a deep cleaning and round of circulating our air into commercial filters, I was breathing fresh air once again. We couldn't be more thankful to Richard and his team, their attention to detail and decision to use eco-friendly cleaning products in our home. If you're reading this and considering calling Ecogenie, this is your sign. Stop reading and give them a call today. read more

I was inspired to write a review after speaking with Richard who assessed our needs and gave fantastic customer service. He was very knowledgeable, provided lots of helpful information, and even referred us to another company that better fit our very specific needs. I will absolutely use Ecogenie for our next spring cleaning and have recommended them to other friends. It's wonderful to find a service provider who brings expertise, fair prices, and enthusiasm about their work! read more

Their pricing was very competitive and the integrity that showed during the house cleaning was something above and beyond. Fantastic communication and the results speak for themselves. Highly recommend. read more

Richard and his team are amazing. Such good people and our home feels so clean and fresh after our deep clean. He was also knowledgable and helpful answering our questions about duct cleaning and dryer vents. We will definitely use Ecogenie in the future and highly recommend! read more

Exactly what you want for a serious deep clean. I've hired a few cleaners and never been totally satisfied. But Ecogenie does two things well. 1) There's a full team of 5 technicians, in addition to Richard who coordinates 2) Richard is determined to leave you satisfied, asking explicitly what is needed to make that happen At a price of $200 per hour, it is a fair amount of money. We have a ~3 bed 2.5 bath place and it was 3.5 hours. They cleaned EVERYWHERE so we are totally satisfied. read more

EcoGenie is your all-in-one deep cleaning solution for your home. I hired them for the first time since I needed air duct and whole house cleaning. I almost went for two different companies until I came across EcoGenie. They did a fantastic job and you can see (and feel) the difference after a whole house cleaning. Rich and the team of cleaning professionals were communicative, on-time and took care of every single detail. My experience was great and totally recommend them. read more

This is the second time we've used Ecogenie and they've been amazing both times! Last year they did a perfect post-construction clean; this year I wanted a deep clean before going into labor and they are delivering! They scrubbed our kitchen (the hood, fridge, range, and oven were all deep cleaned) and it is glowing - along with everything else! Couldn't be happier with the results AND they are super efficient. read more

Wow. Yelp community.. I'd give Rich my money any day. Great communication, efficient, and such a nice person. I recently bought a home and was unsure of the cleanliness especially in places I couldn't see. It's a 1950s home and LOOK at all the crap Rich and his team removed! Very happy and I would recommend him to anyone - will be saving his number for sure! Thanks Rich and team! read more

Ecogenie Cleaning - Carpet Cleaning Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

Friendly, punctual and most importantly, they did a great job deep cleaning the home we just purchased.

I keep my house fairly (kinda, sorta) tidy, but I've been in need of a good deep clean for some time now- I'm talking about getting behind the appliances, the years of built up scum in the shower door frame, the inside of the fridge, etc. I reached out for a quote and got an immediate response from Richard (FYI- Ecogenie only does deep cleaning, not the standard weekly/monthly stuff). I was able to get something scheduled for the next week. Larissa & her crew (4 total) arrived right on time with all their own supplies and equipment and couldn't have been nicer and more professional. We did a walk through of my house and she asked some questions about what I wanted and didn't want. Then I got out of their way and let them do their thing. Larissa called me when they were 20 min from finishing up so I could check their work- which was an A+! Every surface was sparkling! Richard followed up with a text later making sure everything was satisfactory and offered to address anything missed (there was nothing missed!) If you're thinking about using Ecogenie for a deep clean, do it! It feels like a control-alt-delete for your house! I will definitely be a repeat customer. read more

Can't say enough great things about Rich and his crew! They did an awesome job and he goes out of his way to make sure you are happy with the work. One major thing I took note of is the respect his crew has for him. Signs of a good person and when you meet Rich, you can tell he will do right by you in your first interaction with him. And he lived up to his first impressions AND promises for the work that would be done on your home/rental. If you are still researching cleaning crews and feeling stuck, just pull the trigger with Rich and email me if you are unsatisfied. read more

Rich and his team were absolutely fantastic - I have never seen a team deep clean this well. They have a team of 4 technicians who go from the top to the bottom of your house and clean every single square inch. I can't say enough good things - I have extremely high standards when it comes to cleaning a house and they surpassed them. read more

Hard working professional team cleaned our parents home to prepare for sale. The house hadn't had a deep clean in many years, the team handled all the cleaning challenges with expertise and grace. We highly recommend their services. read more

Absolutely amazing cleaning provided by an attentive owner who gave a wonderful price! Seriously, take him over any big company, he is great

We had Ecogenie come out to our new place and do a duct and deep clean (including carpets) before our furniture arrived - late July of 2019. I picked Ecogenie because of the 5 star rating on Yelp and Google. To be honest, I have to admit I was a little suspicious of the rating since ~99% of all ratings are, at best, about 4.5 stars. I was also suspicious that they wouldn't live up to the hype and my wife's very high standards of cleanliness - she has fired 3 different cleaning companies (after giving each several tries to get it right) in the last 5 years. I was pleasantly surprised when my wife later excitedly called me and told me that this crew was awesome and thanked my for picking such a thoroughly good company for the deep clean. She told me that the crew actually went through and cleaned each of the crystals in the the chandelier, dusted the window sills without being asked, moved out the fridge to clean behind it, etc. Prior to them coming out, I had several conversations with Rich at Ecogenie, which were very good and he assured me that that would do whatever it took to make us happy. They arrived on time (important!), and had all the right equipment in their van. I'm not talking about your standard department store equipment, but they had real industrial strength/sized equipment for duct cleaning, carpet cleaning, a gas power air compressor which they had in the back yard, etc. It was impressive. They put on shoe covers and there was no damage to the house when they finished. The carpets took a bit more than 24 hours to dry, and was helped with some dehumidifiers we had. I would say that they definitely lived up to their promise and their 5 star rating and would not hesitate to use them again in the future. read more

The TLDR of this review, Ecogenie is fantasic, hire them for your deep (and/or duct) cleaning, especially post construction. Ecogenie is the only company I found that can do a comprehensive post construction cleaning. They are a one stop solution to clear out all the construction dust and contaminants after your construction project. Rich and his entire crew were great, respectful of my house and very thorough. They spent two days at my house, the first day they spend the whole day cleaning my 2 HVAC systems, and the next day they came in to do the deep cleaning. They left the air purifier running all night to make sure they capture any air contaminants after the HVAC cleaning. Rich made sure that I'm happy with the result before he asked for any payment and he even came back the next day to clean again the attic which was particularly dusty. read more

Richard and his team are superb! I bought my house in 2019 and it needed a cleaning bad! He came within a week's time and was able to complete the job in 2.5 hours. I highly recommend! read more

I'm a realtor. They did a bang up job at one of my listings that had been occupied for 25 years. They got it ready for market.

I used EcoGenie Cleaning off of a neighbor's recommendation and they were wonderful! The owner, Richard Valko, came with a crew of 4 women. They did an amazing job doing a deep clean of our house - everything from scrubbing my washing machine to super high light fixtures. They were thorough, attentive, efficient, and considerate of me working from home. My house is sparkling! In addition, the communication was excellent. I was given appointment reminders and notified when they took a lunch break. The entire experience with them was wonderful. I will be using them again! read more

Richard and his crew were fabulous, came right on time, worked very effectively from top to bottom and were very careful to clean up the mess of 30 years of vent dirt. The crew seem to take much pride in their work and in working with each other. Eco-Friendly, DEI and very professional. Will definitely hired them for my next need job! read more

Rich and his crew are the greatest. They did a fantastic job cleaning my new house after a lot of construction work was done and they are all such nice people. Rich is especially attentive and patient and he will not take your money until you are completely satisfied with his work. I was especially impressed with his duct cleaning. I didn't even know this was something a person could do, but I now realize that if you move into a house that's been worked on without cleaning the ducts, you can end up with an incredibly dusty house. I highly recommend this service from Rich for anyone who is moving into a new place. You can clean the actual house as much as you want, but without vacuuming the ducts, it's just going to be old construction dust blowing around. Again, though, you can't go wrong with Rich and his crew at Ecogenie. I've already recommended him to two friends. And I thought his prices were incredibly reasonable. Thanks, Rich! read more

Ecogenie cleaning crew is the most phenomenal cleaning crew I have ever experienced over a 30 year period of my life!!! They are hard-working, talented, dedicated, and extremely detail oriented. The team cleaning concept that they have espoused should be replicated throughout the United States. We need Ecogenie to embark on a new journey in Las Vegas, Nevada. There are no words to express how extremely satisfied my father and I are at the quality of clean that they have been able to accomplish for our home in Illinois. Ecogenie is exemplary in their approach, technique, and a have implemented a true understanding of what clients deserve and need to feel great about a clean home. I highly recommend this company to anyone that is looking for great leadership. The owner of the Ecogenie, Richard is an exceptional human being, and cares so much about that happiness and the satisfaction of us clients. Ecogenie treats you like family! Richard maintains excellent communication throughout the estimate process, he follows through in a very timely manner on all requests via email. Him and his team are always punctual. Ecogenie is a dream come true. They truly are a genie in their workmanship as they magically make houses become brand new. Kudos to you and your amazing team!!!!!!!! read more

Had such an amazing experience with Richard and the eco genie team. Having just bought our first home I was a little overwhelmed with all the suggested home care services and boy am I glad I listened to a friend and got our vents cleaned. Not only was it easy to communicate and set up a date, the experience was painless, quick and everyone was incredibly professional, kind and there were no extra fees which we appreciated! our air feels clean and the ac is running so much better than before! thank you and I can wait to recommend to family and friends read more

Wow. This is the best cleaning service ever. They arrived right on time, came in with all the necessary supplies to make my place spic and span. The women were so sweet and attentive to my needs and wants. Whether you want to stay in your space or prefer to leave while they clean, I did both. There were five women and they asked me what my most pressing needs were--and way OVER delivered!!!! Absolutely incredible service. Whether you're moving in somewhere, moving out, or just want to start fresh with your place this is the best cleaning service out there. Tip these awesome women well!!!!! read more

I have elderly parents and live far away and unfortunately the cleaning service in their independent living residence is subpar. After visiting a few weeks ago I looked for deep cleaning services and Richard with Ecogenie was responsive and helpful. I know it was not an easy job but my parents were extremely happy with the attention to detail and how the cleaning team took the initiative to clean the windows. My mom can be a demanding customer and she could not stop raving about the kindness of the team. I know Ecogenie brightened both of their days; it was evident when I spoke to them. I feel relieved that their place is now sanitary (gleaming in my mom's words) and that my parents are extremely satisfied. Not everyone has the patience to work with seniors and it warms my heart to know that Richard and his team does. read more

I had Ecogenie come out for a deep cleaning yesterday and they did such an amazing job!!! We've been in our house 6 years and my motivation was cleaning the windows (which look fantastic) but they also cleaned every crevice in the house from light fixtures to the silverware drawer. I never knew my shower grout could look so good! Nothing left untouched, they even brought in an air scrubber when they found a lot of dust hiding. Thank you so much to the whole team! I will definitely be using them for a yearly "spring cleaning". read more

I had Ecogenie come out to clean my ducts after remodeling. They are spic and span now. Looking forward to fresh air in my home. Fortunately the house was pretty clean or I would have used their deep clean service which sounds amazing. I mean, who ever cleans BEHIND the frig!? Really! I am scheduled to use their upholstery cleaning service as well. Stay tuned. My hardwood floors were still curing after being refinished and they took extra care with their shoes and equipment. Thanks Rich and team! read more

Used Ecogenie for carpet and tile cleaning. They arrived when they said they would and did a great job. Communication was great overall; Rich is extremely responsive. Will use again. read more

I needed my rented home deep cleaned before I handed the keys back to the landlord. Richard arrived early, and his crew of 7 did an amazing, thorough, and fast cleaning of the whole house. They also steam cleaned the carpets, which looked like new when they were done. Richard stayed at the house the whole time and worked alongside his crew. Not only did they all do a great job, but he was super professional and a great team player with his crew. I could not recommend them more! read more

Absolutely amazing service! They have great communication and made our rug look BRAND NEW for a great price. The rug is thick sheep skin-like synthetic material so I was concerned it couldn't be easily cleaned. It was grey and matted with dirt and now it back to being white and fluffy. Drop off and delivery is included. I will be using them for all future cleaning needs. :) read more

Awesome job. They clean in every nook and crany. Was amaxed when they even disassembled light fixtures and cleaned each component and reassembled it. The price is fair and worth every dollar. The previous owner had multiple cats and it's smell was apparent. After the folks at eco genie came in the scent and remnants were gone. Thanks again guys! read more

Mario and his crew from Ecogenie did an outstanding job cleaning our condo. The place was a mess from construction activity. I had made a list of what all I wanted cleaned so that nothing would be missed and they cleaned items I did not even think about! Great job!! read more

Richard is the best! Wonderful communication, arrived on time and got the job done on time. In extreme weather conditions. Richard and his team was a joy to work with. I just had my ducts cleaned for the first time since I bought my place over 5 years ago. Ecogenie was easy to schedule, sent over experienced, professional staff and I'm very happy about the increase in my air quality and efficiency of my hvac unit. Another plus, one of the guys discovered one of my vents were closed, which is probably the reason why I couldn't get that part of my unit warm or cool enough! As a first time homeowner, I never knew to check that stuff out, nor would I have even recognized it. For a service that I now know needs to be done every few years for an increase in air quality and home maintenance, I highly recommend Ecogenie! read more

Absolutely wonderful customer service. Very easy to deal with as the owner, Rich, frequently answers the phone himself (not something you see a lot these days). Rich and his technician showed up right on time, inspected both of our furnaces and vents, and did a video / inspection of the ducts. Since everything was in good shape, nothing major needed to be done and so they didn't charge me anything for it all. Thoroughly impressed by how professional / honest they were and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. Will definitely be calling them in a couple of years when it's time for another checkup / cleaning. Thanks! read more

After being told by other companies that they couldn't service our dryer vents or would charge us a huge surcharge to do the work, we had a great experience working with Ecogenie. They were able to do the work for less, met all of the expectations, and were overall nice to work with. The two technicians were personable and very easy to have in our home. We definitely recommend! read more

My wife and I needed an extremely in depth cleaning of our air ducts and our home. Rich and his team did an amazing job! The first day they came in and cleaned every air duct and pushed all the dust out of our home. They then left air scrubbers over night and came the next day to do the home cleaning. I'm very picky when it comes to cleaning and I was very impressed with the job they did. I will definitely use them again. read more

Rich is great and his employees are too! He came by to give me a free estimate and was super thorough about what the process would entail. Initially, I wanted a deep cleaning + air duct cleaning, however, due to the cost, I only selected the air duct cleaning. The cleaners were on time, had everything they needed, and worked tirelessly. I was very impressed. I genuinely see less dust and feel that the air quality in our home has improved significantly. They even cleaned our dryer vent for free! Thank you, Ecogenie!! read more

Most of these reviews are about air quality and carpet cleaning and I wanted to leave a review to highlight ANOTHER service Eco Genie provides. On a Thursday, I heard what I thought were bird chirps coming from my dryer and I thought they may have gotten in the exhaust vents. I went out of town Fri-Mon and returned to find a terrible smell coming from my dryer...I knew the poor birds probably died, due to the temperature. I called Rich early Tuesday morning and he and Mario came out during the lunch hour. Not only did they remove the birds, the nest and the maggots, they discarded everything without me seeing a peep. They thoroughly disinfected my dryer and flex line and gave me pointers on how to keep the birds from returning through the exterior vents. As a true "girlie girl," I can't say enough about their discretion, efficiency and professionalism in making my home feel like a home again. So grateful they provide such a service that I would NEVER be able to handle myself! Side note, we have also requested a quote for carpet cleaning in our condo building, in hopes of working with them again. It was truly a pleasure! read more
