Have had mixed feelings about this small local restaurant for a while. Depending on the day you may run into the wife/owner which equals possibly the worst service you could get from a waitress. Her unfriendly attitude is unpleasant but her service is even worse. My elderly parents ordered food from them the other day on our recommendation. They were shocked to see that their cooks do not wear masks. I was too and stopped in to ask the owner why. I very nicely spoke to him privately. He rudely stated that masks are "bullshit" and he by law does not have to wear a mask nor do his cooks. Tonight I decided NEVER to eat food from there again. Thankfully Sicilian Oven across from Fetta Republic which we also order food weekly has a very different policy. read more

Well I ordered to go was excited to try Feta Republic for the first time and went to pick up my order and was met by the rudest woman she was pushy not friendly and made my mediocre food taste worse than it already was . Will never be going here again and if you wish to not have your blood boil with anger I'd advise not to go there. read more

At this restaurant all the cooks in the back or not wearing mask. I ordered Fetta republic for the first time with high expectations ,I went to pick the order and to my surprise the waitress was very rude and had bad attitude just from the start (she doesn't probably doesn't know that customers like to be treated with kindness as well). They need help so if your in a rush don't go. If you want traditional Greek don't go. Publix is in the same shopping center you can get a better salad there. Dinner delivered. Lamb gyro platter served with salad, fries or rice and pita. Lamb was flavorful and tender. Salad was amazing. Has lentil soup, would skip next time. Was hoping it would be yellow lentil. There was a seasoning in the soup that seem to overpower the natural flavor of the lentil. Baklava was huge. Nicely balanced. Delivery fee in the pompano area can run as high as $10. This was much more reasonable. I used yelp to place order. Arrived in 40 minutes. Hot and the driver told me I picked a great place. I was extremely disappointed with the "paper thin" zucchini chips, which turned out to be thick, beaded and soggy and the tzaziki sauce was overly garlic-y. There are a lot of good Greek restaurants in South Florida, but I haven't had a great chicken gyro on pita like this in a long time. It was a tzadziki dripping, finger licking experience I had missed so much since I left the northeast. Nice place, but not exactly a place you would take a date to impress. More like a good neighborhood restaurant. A word of warning. The meal I had came with a choice of fries or salad. The fries are heavily seasoned. I'm used to that, but if you're not, take the salad. It was my first time there and I can't wait to go back and try some of their other food. Stopped in on Saturday for takeout lunch. What a pleasant surprise, and nice addition to the LHP restaurant offerings. The food was delicious, the staff welcoming and helpful. The venue is slick,trendy and clean. Kitchen is visible, clean and quick. We ordered chicken wraps with salad and one with fries. Both sides have a fresh twist without being too gourmet to lose the feel of traditional. I'm going back but next time for dinner during happy hour. Fresh tasty thick tsatsiki sauce, fresh cut fries, seasoned pita, moist meat. All good, but what would be an afterthougt most places, blew my tastebuds away: the generous Greek side salad had the most tasty tomatoes. You know, with real tomato taste. Big chucks of excellent feta, chunks of cucumber, just a little olive oil and olives. But the tomatoes! Real care taken with the salad, this bodes well for the future. We were stuffed from lunch but ordered a slice of fresh made baklava for later. Dont miss it, it was yummy. The place is extremely clean with a very nice decor. As soon as we sat down, our waitress greeted us and promptly took our order. Ordered delivery and they were here within 30 mins. The food was delicious and fresh. I ordered 2 gyro pitas with seasoned fries for my son and spouse, falafel pita with rice for my daughter and I to share, and fish roe dip for me to eat later. Food was similar to the Greek food in Astoria. I used to live off of Steinway so I know good Greek food and they're pretty great! Definitely trying the lemon potatoes next, which I haven't had since moving to Florida. Good food ..but .......VERY high prices on many things like the Beef, Lamb, Seafood, if they lowered their prices 20-30% and gave you pita bread Hummus free like a lot of Greek restaurants they would be busy every single night ...I live in lighthouse point and its never crowded because people think its overpriced for what it is ..there are a lot of families here.
