So far so good....our 16 year old got her permit a few months ago and we found Ferrari after doing an online search. We have found them to be pretty exceptional in all areas...helpfulness in understanding the process, ease of scheduling lessons, the five hour class and road test, overall friendliness and great instruction by Gigi. A huge bonus is you can get picked up from home to take 90 minute driving lessons. I passed on my first test after 10 hours with the Brooklyn office. Pleasure to work with Karen and Ira at the desk and the instructors there. Ira, Fransisco, and Malik were great instructors. Everyone needs at least one lesson with Malik to iron out any parking issues you may be having. Overall a great experience. 9/10 only due to a few late starts. Ferrari driving school does not look like much when you pass by but I have been 2 other driving schools they looked better but the people was nasty. 2 me it seems like they just want u 2 come in n spent the money with their company. But this driving school (FERRARI) make u feel comfortable n confident 2 take the road test n the pricing is not bad either. I would recommend this driving school 4 any1. Too pricy on classes and it's 1 thousand dollars to rent the car for road test which is insane

Got a five hour class on groupon at Ferrari. The instructor was super goofy and friendly, which brightened up the dull, but required, course. The receptionists were very efficient and knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone who needs to get this class out of the way. Only downside is that the place is difficult to get to. read more

I would have to say I would give the instructors Pablo and Stephanie five stars if I can rate only the instructors And administration differently. For the most part I've had to constantly call the administration office in order to find out when my test was even to schedule my instructor no one would call me ahead of time to let me know that I have a confirmed appointment. I would definitely give the company itself no stars for their poor communication and lack of understanding of individuals needs and lack of their professionalism, The only thing that really Saved their skin is that they have amazing instructors and I hope that they compensate them well. Ferrari if you're reading this I hope that you treat your Brooklyn instructors very well because if it wasn't for them you would have no business. For anyone reading this I would just schedule your driving lessons with the school and I would take as many classes with the instructors with their Brooklyn locations but I would not schedule my road test through the school; they are horrible. My girlfriend had one 90 min lesson with habit Alvarez and let me just say that he's not professional AT ALL! He provided terrible service and was a total douche !!! He has no compassion, has no patience, he's rude, and he talks to his students about other driver instructors which is very unethical!!! It's almost impossible to learn anything from this guy, he makes the entire lesson uncomfortable. read more

If you want to practice on your own with parking choose Asyha from Lindenwood Ferrari office. I had an hour of mainly parking. The lady seemed new and unknowledgeable to instruct. I asked what I can do better and she wouldn't talk. Also I have chosen to give a one star review because the sight will not allow anything lower. My experience was far from what I was told it will be. The instructor didn't press the brakes at all and said I was doing everything wrong at the end of my 90 minute lesson. I asked her if my turns were ok though and she had told me yes they were. Don't go here unless you intend to learn everything on your own. Ashya was very snobby with a bad attitude. I was expecting more being with the money that I had spent. She could've at least instructed me in a proper manner during my lesson. Time wasted at Ferrari Brooklyn location. To start I paid $175 for two lessons with each lesson being an hour and a half which I didn't know was extremely pricey compared to other driving schools. Only chose this location because it was local. The lady at the front desk who claims she is in charge isnt very professional. Sometimes you go there and she's not even there. She misspelled my name on my certificate. Every time I went in she would be on a personal call and I had to repeat myself multiple times due to her not paying attention. When I went to schedule for more lessons , I specifically told her I wanted the Sunday that was available and instead she booked me for the Saturday. When I got the text Saturday that I had missed my leasons I was confused and callled in only to have her insisted I booked the Saturday and wouldn't be able to hey a refund because I missed my scheduled time without rescheduling. It was only after I mentioned contacting corporate that she then was able to schedule me for the day I originally ask but not without telling me how she was basically "Doing me a favor". Instructor was cool but after the final lesson I ended up going somewhere else that charged me less for more time. I guess with Ferrari you're paying for the name alone cause the service is terrible. Maybe better for people getting their CDL. read more

Out of all the driving instructors that I've had ( and I've had a few) Gigi was the best ever. I started off with a bad experience with another instructor and got the run around several times over . But Gigi literally swooped in and saved the day. She is a natural teacher, super friendly and and super patience. I passed my road test on the first time only because she taught me how to. I went and did 1 driving lesson with one of the instructors, and I have to say is that he wasn't professional at all. Talking to me in a disrespectful way. I don't remember the guy name but he need to watch how he talk to people or someone will do something to him one day in life. Ferrari has decent people that actually care about you passing .. I failed with last school that I used because the instructor was more interested in hitting on me that teaching me to drive. Oz the manager took me to do my exam because my instructor was ill that day - that's good service even thou he had to man the counter ... but insisted that I was waiting 7 weeks so he made it his business to take over and escort me down that same day for the sake of letting me take a road test. He was very knowledgeable and the tips I received that day truly had an impact on me passing the road test. He was calm assertive and most importantly knew his detail ... A little more than my last school but soo worth the value. I wish I would of listened to my friend and came here first, I would of had my license two months ago. What happened 2006 had a great experience then but I have to obtain my license over again I went there paid for everything first day they said they will call me in 2 weeks to give me the date of my road test so I went home that same day I got on the DMV website and I scheduled me a road test in 21 days call them told them the area they said they don't do the area I said okay just give me a full refund since you don't do the area they said okay you should have your money back in your account within 5 to 7 business days I checked the next day on my transaction history and the transaction was completed it wasn't even put in for a refund now we've been 2 weeks past and it's still as a complete transaction and it still haven't been put in for a refund went over to the office and spoke to Jerry he said it's going to take some more time for my refund to go through I've been told by two different people that it should already have been done don't go here read more

Got my CDL Class A with these guys. Go with Alfredo he's a great instructor.....kinda mean but he's doing it for your own good. He has A lot of hands on experience so that helps. And to anyone taking any CDL road test, go to hicksville. It cost about $70 extra to the already expensive classes but trust me you wont regret it. read more

First came across this school like a year ago on Groupon for $20 5 hr class. At the Astoria location. The instructor was really cool and nice. Try to keep it interesting so we wouldn't fall asleep. Fast forward a year later, decided to stop procrastinating and actually learn how to drive. First had an evaluation , which in layman terms is just a hr driving lesson. Then came the biggest blessing for my package deal. I got instructor Pablo! I can't put in words how amazing he been. He has patience. He let you be you and don't put pressure on you. When he needs to jump in for criticism, he does it at he perfect moment when it's not laying heavy over your head. I owe him. Why not give it 5 stars? One day when Pablo was all booked and I need a lesson before my road test, I got stuck with a instructor name Jabit. He's an disgusting human. He's rude. For an instructor, he has no patience. Everything felt rush. No literally he rush me in everything. When I got something wrong he rather yell and ask me what's wrong with me, instead of helping. And he told me I wouldn't pass my test. I went home that day ashamed and embarrassed. Got on the phone and called Pablo and he came out the next day. Amazing! Road test was the following day and I pass with a perfect score. This is purely for Michelle of the Brooklyn office.... SHE WAS AWESOME! I just had a pretty long class session with her, but the whole time was very comfortable and profoundly informative. She told me what to do and I did it! I couldnt ask for a better instructor. FINALLY, I got someone who knows what they are talking about and isnt at all weird. The best thing was the parking.... normally I would make all kinds of extra moves with parking, but with the way she showed me (as opposed to the other blah ways) WAS FREAKING PERFECT! I was parking in 3 moves with ease! It was a real confidence booster. She wasnt even feeling all that well when she was giving me the lesson, BUT SHE DID ANYWAY! I must say I respect that allot... its rare you find a teacher (in anything) that has her level of commitment to her students. She gets 5 stars from me.... I was at the Brooklyn office. The man who instructed the 5 hr class, named Barry, should retire or give up instructing. He had some sort of speech impairment, or it was his age, or something that made it impossible to understand him! I had such trouble comprehending a word he said, it was horrible! Then during the 5hr class, the receptionist is calling us out, 4-5 ppl at a time, to fill out paper work....why? We are new drivers & need every bit of this info, why is she calling us out? Not to mention, A lot of us was there early including me, so we could've filled out that paperwork before the class. the class didn't even start till about 30 minutes after the time it was supposed to start, so why take us out of the class, give us this paperwork now. It was for their convenience, so at the end they wouldn't be rushed at, all at once. I didn't like Ferrari one bit. And I did not like my instructor Jabit Alvarez. He was impatient, rude, and I had no confidence in my driving at all when I finished with him. I took six lessons with him and on my last lesson he decides to teach me parking. Of course he said it was because I wasn't ready to learn parking before that, smh, but wasn't that his job to get me ready!? Why would you wait to my last lesson to teach me Parking? I was so upset the day of my road test. I passed, but I believe it was because of my son, who took me out practicing, not because of Ferrari or it's instructors!
