My wife and I absolutely love this place. What a gem. Definitely order the bratwurst with potato salad. Weather permitting, sitting outside by the fire is really fun, especially with a good drink (which they have plenty of). The staff is super nice and offered samples of some beers before a full pour. Whenever my wife and I are in town, we love stopping by here for some good food and drinks.

Cool little brewery in the PNW. They have a large outdoor patio with lots of seating. And the patio is covered. It's dog friendly and there were lots of doggos when I went. Service was friendly. There is also indoor seating and food. I went for the beer. I tried the White River Saison: malts and hops from the Belgian, French, and German countryside, fermented with yeast captured from the wind on the slopes of Mt. Hood, creates a truly unique ale that is both refreshing and wonderfully complex. It was a wonderful saison and one of my favorites of the trip. I wish I had more time to try more beers but the one I had was excellent. I definitely recommend it and will try to make it back next time.

Great location with views of the Columbia River from inside and outside. We enjoyed the outside, which was slightly shaded on a hot day. Dog friendly, there were almost as many dogs as people. Signage for the entrance is lacking. The restaurant is upstairs (take stairs or elevator). Then seat yourself inside/ outside. We had a group of 8 and all fit at an outside picnic-style table. Order individually at a walk-up window, pay, go sit down. They give you a buzzer gizmo to alert when your order is ready... go pick up @ window.

Coming here to update that I still love this place! It's honestly my go to when in hood river. The only downside is that their food is pretty expensive but it is good and the sandwiches are big enough to share. Love sitting on the deck with the fire table! Staff are always friendly even when it's super busy.

I had heard about Ferment through the 5K Beer Run Series, but couldn't make that race. Had the chance to explore Hood River on a Saturday and this was our last stop. Theres a beautiful upstairs wooden deck, wide fire pit, heated yurts, four different seating areas with river and sunset views. This outdoor section alone would get 5 stars. You order inside at the bar. The staff was friendly. There is seating indoors. It wraps around glass windows which look down onto the brew tanks. The building is pretty cool architecturally. Our beer flight was ready immediately. We picked a sunset view with heat lamps directly above us. Our grilled cheese and tomato soup was walked out to the table within 10 minutes. I'm guessing the lower reviews are based on service issues which we didn't have. We had a lovely time. I suppose anytime you're with good company, a meal tastes better, but I've got to say the beer was good and the soup and sandwich were excellent. Families, babies, pets, gorgeous nature & sunsets on the river. It's a spot I'd go back to!

Ordered the Hana Pils -- clean, crisp taste upfront with a subtle bitter-sweet finish. Went down perfectly smooth -- just excellent! Food leaves a bit to be desired, but the view of the river (not lake ) and the chill music make it a great spot to relax. Service was friendly and attentive. Recommended for the beer, atmosphere, and views -- a perfect place to unwind.

As far as the environment goes I like the way this place is tucked away on the 2nd floor. It's a great spot with great vibes but let's get into the good stuff. First the spicy margarita is delicious but get it if you actually like a spicy margarita. Definitely had a kick to it which I liked. I had the fried chicken sandwich which I absolutely loved but I had a bit of the burger and have to say the burger might've been better but depending on your mood you really can't go wrong with either one!

This brewery was a little difficult to find as of the signs to go up to the rooftop area where the brewery is. The ordering area is self service as you go to a window to order and the call you up to pick up after order is ready. Beer choices was ok but I wasn't a fan of what they had to offer. Food didn't taste that great either I only really enjoyed the chicken sandwich. Kids didn't like the burgers or the homemade ketchup -which tasted more like marinara sauce. I did enjoy the view they had along with the large seating areas with a fireplace.

Really nice and large space, indoor, outdoor, tasty but standard brewery menu offerings of burgers, fries. Pretty decent beer selection, with a nice variety.

This brewery is incredible! The beers were delicious, I tried 3 or 4 and loved the hazy they had on tap. The staff was also super friendly and talkative! I tried a few different food dishes but my favorite was the salad!

We had a large group and if you do, this is the kind of place you need! It has indoor and outdoor seating. You can see the brewery and I think they have tours some days. The menu had some apps, a few sandwiches/burgers, and two salads. Obviously, a decent beer selection - but I only had one, which was good. The salmon dip was amazing, but essentially comes with two pieces of toast. Our salad was the star with a dressing that I could eat again and again, plus some pretty hard boiled eggs. The chicken sandwich was good, but nothing to rave about - fries were tasty. It's definitely worth a stop if passing through Hood River. Great spot with lots of parking, views, and food trucks out back.

Salad was very mid, chicken needed salt, but the fries were awesome and the ambience is so cute and fairly clean! I would definitely come back.

Place was confusing to find and figure out where to order, but an employee quickly pointed us in the right direction! To order, you MUST order outside. You can seat yourself, and they'll give you a pager to know when your food is ready!! The cashier/order taker woman is so nice! She was helpful and sweet. Service was fast. Light music playing in the background and they seem to have live music every Sunday for the summer, starting at like 8pm! My friends ordered, I wasn't hungry, so here are their opinions! "Oatmeal Ice cream sandwich was alright. Wouldn't buy it again, especially for $8. You can pick up one for 1/3 of the cost at your local 7-eleven, and it'll be way better. Hazy ipa - you can really taste the hint of apricot in it. It doesn't to wave a strong aftertaste in your mouth- but in the best way! It's really easy to drink and affordable, 16oz for $8. The dip and toast was so good, the bread is toasted sourdough and the dip is creamy. Could use some more artichoke, the flavor is very faint. Very filling."

Full Sail is a very well respected micro brewery, founded in 1987 and the first craft brewery in the Pacific Northwest to bottle its beer. It's flagship Amber has won numerous awards, including recently in 2025 a Gold Medal at the NY International Beer Competition (along with the brewery being named Oregon Brewery of the Year). It has a large line-up of beers brewed inhouse There is a large paid parking lot across the street at $1.25 per hour, payable via credit card through nearby kiosks. Once entering, there is a long hallway, walking past the working areas of the brewery, until getting to the restaurant area. It has views of I-84, and further the Columbia River. The outdoor patio was not open (drizzling outside), and it was pretty crowded inside but we got lucky to be seated at a table near windows with a view. There have lunch and happy hour specials during weekdays. The lunch special is 1/2 of a sandwich (grilled cheese this day) along with a cup of their soup of the day (tomato). I was super excited about the Amber, so got a pint of that ($8) and pint of the Queen Wheat ($8). My wife enjoyed the Queen Wheat but didn't care for the Amber. I really liked the Amber, making me realize why I had drunk so much of that style earlier in my life when in Wisconsin, before switching over to wheat beer. There selection of beer is great, and a flight is the way to go ($18 of 6 5oz samplers). Buffalo Hot Wings ($17) - a decent amount of simply deep fried hot wings in a classic Frank's red hot buffalo sauce. Pretzel Bread Sticks ($13) - 4 large, warmed pretzels. Should have gotten the beer cheese to go with it. Salmon Fish & Chips ($20) - 3 small pieces of beer battered salmon, very dense and definitely tasting of wild caught salmon. It came with good fries and a really good, fresh cole slaw. There is a small refrigerator stocked with cans of certain beers for sale. Unfortunately, we were dismissively told that they were out of the Amber bottles for sale. So after our meal, went to the front to purchase directly from the front staff. Their Japanese rice beer from their Session lineup ($10 for a six pack) was available and what we brought back home with us.

We got there super early and opted to sit outside since the weather was so nice. The service was fantastic and our waitress was super friendly. We discovered that she has ties to KC so I always love that. I started with an Adeline blackberry sour. It's pretty to look at and so delicious to drink. Sours in Oregon are hands down the best. I wish we had more of it in KC but I highly recommend that you get sours and ciders if you're in the PNW. For lunch I ordered the Club Sandwich: Sweetheart ham, hickory-smoked turkey, Tillamook white cheddar, Applewood smoked bacon; topped with lettuce, tomato, chipotle mayo. It normally comes on sourdough but I swapped it out for ciabatta. First off, it's a HUGE club sandwich. Lots of meat that had amazing flavor. Not some sad deli sandwich at all. The ciabatta had great chew and complemented the sandwich perfectly. No complaints here! Did I eat it all? Yes, and that was a great plan because it kept me going for the next 24 hours that ended up being a cluster that resulted in no food being available. Sandwiches come with chips or a garden salad but I opted for a different side with an up charge. Let's talk about the Oregon Blue Salad: spring mix, dried cranberries, honeycrisp apples, Rogue Creamery Oregon Blue crumbles, and maple candied walnuts; tossed in an apple cider vinaigrette. So GOOD! You can get it by itself and it would make a great meal. Everything was so fresh. Again, not a single complaint. If you are ever in the area, please stop in. Everything was amazing and I can't wait until I return. Double Mountain is on my list to come back to! Highly recommend!

Upon arrival we saw a few different beers we wanted to try. Luckily quite a few of them were in cans which we took home but we had a beer there at the taproom also to absorb and relax at the taproom location. An adorable cat that more than likely lived there or put in a hard working shift of charming customers was present and we made over the kitty and pet it when it came to see us. Such a lovely cat! But onto the beer now! For the beer that we had at the taproom we had the Rice and Shine Japanese Lager. This was a pretty solid lager and one of my favorite types of lagers. I do love a lager that involves rice. Perhaps not the best ever that I have come across but still quite good. The flavor profile of this beer has a clean, crisp and refreshing aspects to it along with a biscuity flavor. The rest of the beers we had went home with us in cans. One beer was the River Pillow. This was a Pale Ale and had a nice, soft feel to it. The hop presence wasn't too overwhelming. We had another Pale Ale also. This one was called the Shredipede. This beer has a clean, crisp and citrusy presence to it. It is bright in hue and is nice and crushable which means you can have more than one with ease. Moving on from that was another kind of lager. This one was a Mexican Lager. The name of this one was the Pinche Chela. Mexican Lagers are another favorite lager of mine if not my #1 favorite for this beer type. This beer has a nice corn taste which provides a natural sweetness and the beer is nice and crisp. Again... perhaps not my most favorite version that I have had but enjoyable all the same. After that we went to darker beer territory and had a dry Irish Stout. I love these kinds of stouts because of that dryness aspect at work. Other flavor features in this are roastiness, oatmeal and the feel of it is smooth, creamy and soft. An excellent stout. This was a good stop and I am glad this brewery finally got tried out.

The atmosphere is casual and inviting but the food, both quality and presentation, steals the show. We tried a gin cocktail that was as beautiful as it was inventive. We followed this with the brussel sprouts salad which was lightly roasted but still tasted and looked green in the most delightful way, with some kind of light dressing that celebrates the vegetables in the salad medley without overpowering them. We took Calvin's recommendation and ordered the special which was a three mushroom fettuccine: it was perfection. The pasta was served al dente, the mushrooms included shitake, hedgehog, and one other and all had a unique flavor that stood out with each bite. The pasta sauce was buttery but somehow almost effervescent, embracing but not suffocating, with just enough cheese to know it's there but not enough to have it overpower the dish. At this point we didn't think the meal could get any better but then we ordered the pear, huckleberry, and pluot sorbet made at Celilo and we're now committed to coming back. The sorbet featured locally sourced Bosc pears and that flavor may have been my favorite as it was unlike any other sorbet I have ever tasted. All were sweet but complex.
