This was a cute spot. It's smaller but there is seating available both inside and out. We grabbed two rounds and thought that they had a nice selection of beer and other options on tap. Cheers!

I like this small venue. The staff is small. They have a free popcorn machine and serves some munchies for a low cost. I like the small area upstairs for a more intimate setting. I really like the menu board that shows the beers on draft and the level of availability.

64 TapHouse is a cozy bar right in the heart of downtown Hood River. They have 32 taps offering many varieties of beer, cider, and even some local wine. The owners do an excellent job curating the best best beers mainly from top brewers in the West. Typically there will be 6 to 8 fabulous IPAs on tap, a favorite in the Pacific Northwest. They also offer cocktails and some tasty food items like flat bread pizzas and pretzel bites, plus free popcorn! If you want beer to go and don't have a growler to fill, 64TapHouse will can any beer in 25oz aluminum cans. The staff are very friendly and helpful and many of the customers are local regulars, kinda like the Cheers bar from that classic TV show "where everybody knows your name". Definitely check out 64 TapHouse during your next visit to downtown Hood River!

Super friendly staff was so welcoming at this small TapHouse with loads of choices! Why go? If you like to sample a big variety of craft brews (like we do) this was the most organized, non-rushed experience we've ever had. Given hand crafted wood/chalk board trays & pens we were invited to take our time, peruse the extensive list, and write down the numbers. (Shout out to 64 oz. for organizing a tap list that's easy to follow & providing stats on each beer- well done!) Cold beer, nice pours, and new favorite brews were discovered. The Hood River locals enjoying football on the big screen & the Sunday Pint Specials were a great bunch too. After enjoying our tasters, the winning brews were ordered in pint size (beer $4 cider $5) a great deal on microbrews we've never encountered before. For my mom-in-law that's not a beer fan -local wine & ciders made her happy as did the fresh popcorn! 64oz. I'll see you soon, save me a lounge chair...

We came to Hood River for part of our honeymoon, having heard it's a cool spot. I'm glad this sweet lil taproom was open during our stay! So far I've had a Fieldwork- Video Armageddon NEIPA. It's delicious and perfect temp. Service was quick and friendly. Tables and chairs sanitized between customers. Very reasonable prices for beers.

My brother and I were visiting Hood River, and 64 taphouse had a groupon. As we are beer lovers and never been here (its relatively new about 4 years old), I bought the groupon. The owners were so lovely and welcoming. Sometimes I feel like as soon as I state I am using a groupon, the demeanor changes, but they were still so friendly. We had one flight each, and shared a warm pretzel (per the groupon). The whole time we chatted about our plans during our trip and where we were from. After the flights we ordered one pint each of our favorite beer, and then a to-go can which they can right there for you. Its large, a pint and a half, but its a nice take-away souvenir for home. This place was so lovely, we went there the following day.

This spot is a convenient walk in the downtown area of HR. Locally owned and the owners are usually visible and helpful. Beer list has a good variety, bringing in some beers from all around the NW, as well as some local HR beer too. They even had a hard to fund Pliny the Elder from Russian River once when I stopped by. The digital screen outside lets you peruse the current taplist without walking up to the bar and awkwardly deciding maybe you're not in the mood for what's on tap today. They do update the taplist too from their website, in case you're thinking about making a trip. They also have live music in special nights. No food. Just popcorn. Not so kid or pet friendly. And beer to go in several different sizes. Growlers or crowlers.

Today the Mrs and I went to it directly on our excursion from Portland. I was greeted by a friendly, personable bartender who gave us ample time to order. She was knowledgeable and accommodating. Having been a regular at a local pub near my house I can assure you that pub dining is NOT fine dining - it's actually homegrown goodness, generally limited but oh so delicious. I had the bangers and mash and was more than happy with my choice. The wife had the fish tacos - they looked wonderful and exceeded her expectations. We were offered a free beverage 'cause of an overpour and it was very generous but declined 'cause the ale and food we ordered was just the right amount. I really liked that we were able to pay and tip before our meal was served. So many times places take FOREVER to bring you the check and then you have to wait FOREVER to get it back. Paying and tipping ahead of time makes sense. We loved the outdoor patio - roomy and comfortable; other patrons had brought their fuzzy friends whom we got to pet while waiting for our grub. Very eclectic ambiance, lots of seating options and friendly service. Honestly, if more eateries in Hood River were like the Oak Street Pub we'd have a harder time deciding where to eat. Until then - Oak Street Pub is for us. Cheers!

We decided on nachos and the fish tacos. I don't know why but they put tajin on the nachos! At first I thought they used a vinegar based salsa but no looking closely it had a generous sprinkling of tajin. The nachos were sour and just so off tasting. Service was fine, outdoor seating for sun and dogs available. The menu doesn't indicate that they put tajin on their nachos. Maybe if they had I'd have ordered something else.

They have a nice patio area with a few (4-5) tables that are covered. We got there super early and opted to sit outside since the weather was so nice. The service was fantastic and our waitress was super friendly. We discovered that she has ties to KC so I always love that. I started with an Adeline blackberry sour. It's pretty to look at and so delicious to drink. Sours in Oregon are hands down the best. I wish we had more of it in KC but I highly recommend that you get sours and ciders if you're in the PNW. For lunch I ordered the Club Sandwich: Sweetheart ham, hickory-smoked turkey, Tillamook white cheddar, Applewood smoked bacon; topped with lettuce, tomato, chipotle mayo. It normally comes on sourdough but I swapped it out for ciabatta. First off, it's a HUGE club sandwich. Lots of meat that had amazing flavor. Not some sad deli sandwich at all. The ciabatta had great chew and complemented the sandwich perfectly. No complaints here! Did I eat it all? Yes, and that was a great plan because it kept me going for the next 24 hours that ended up being a cluster that resulted in no food being available. Sandwiches come with chips or a garden salad but I opted for a different side with an up charge. Let's talk about the Oregon Blue Salad: spring mix, dried cranberries, honeycrisp apples, Rogue Creamery Oregon Blue crumbles, and maple candied walnuts; tossed in an apple cider vinaigrette. So GOOD! You can get it by itself and it would make a great meal. Everything was so fresh. Again, not a single complaint. If you are ever in the area, please stop in. Everything was amazing and I can't wait until I return. Double Mountain is on my list to come back to! Highly recommend!
