My car's rear bumper was damaged due to an accident. The rear bumper was smashed to the side of the car. Severe damage was also done to the trunk as well. Cargo suggested I can get a quote from a local and if the quote was under a certain amount... they could cut a check for the repair.. Chevrolet dealership recommended this business for paint work. New bumper was ordered and this company painted the bumper. Looked great at start. Slowly deterioted the moment we left Hawaii in 2016. I take great care of my car. So I was involved in a minor fender bender (not my fault of course) I chose Fermahin's cause someone had told me that they are quick, reliable and do good work. So the day of my accident I reached out and they told me to bring the car in at my earliest convenience, just happen to be the next day. They were very friendly and when I brought the car in the estimate was done and before I even got home the estimate was sent to my insurance. I want to say this was a Friday. By Monday my insurance had approved the work. That same day the shop called me and said bring my car back the following Monday. I've had a couple of fender benders and usually it takes a month to order parts and multiple weeks to schedule the appointment get the work done. I brought my car on a Tuesday (worked Monday) and by Friday my car was done. Not only was the work done quickly it was done very well. I have no complaints about Fermahin's and I definitely recommend this shop! read more

Donnie and Brandon showed true ALOHA to my mom yesterday, who was so distressed after she drove over something that damaged her car. She looked up an Auto Body Repair shop near her and drove over to Fermahin's. She was greeted by Donnie who was on his way out, but took the time to listen to my mom and arranged to have Brandon work on her car. Brandon was already working on a truck on the lift. But he swapped out the truck for my mom's car and had her car repaired in an hour. I came home from work and my mom shared how long it has been since she has experienced such MALAMA and ALOHA. Took my car to Fermahin's Auto Body Shop to repair damage to rear fender, rear bumper and to replace a tail light. After picking up my car, noticed rear fender was missing a screw-cljp, spoiler was lifting on both sides, body kit adhesive wasn't adhering to bumper in multiple areas, dent was still visible, fenders edge was chipping paint, paint job to rear bumper was blotchy, uneven, and rough. Later that day, noticed condensation building up in both headlights along with dried up waterspots inside both lens. Further inspection showed that both headlights were cracked and pushed up against both fenders, trailer hitch was missing, front tire well was missing a clip, there were masked off marks on grill, chips that happened previously from rocks hitting the bumper now had been clear-coated over, and there were palm-sized dents that never before existed. The bumper behind the license plate had been wiped clean and now had two symmetrical 1/4" holes existed. Upon discussing these matters with Brandon Fermahin, he offered no apologies yet admitted that the body work done to the rear of the car had not been done well. However, as for the damage to the front of the car, Brandon repeatedly denied ever touching the front of the car and blamed the cracks and condensation in the headlights as being 'old', regardless to the fact that one headlight had been newly replaced and neither headlights ever had any condensation problems. Since our last visit they have made no attempts to contact us to resolve this matter. read more

So I called for a quote and they said to come on in which was nice. I like when places can take me right away since I rarely have time in my schedule to come after work (usually places like this are closed). They were able to take me after about 15 minutes of waiting. The parking seemed non-existent unless you crammed your car in on the side of the building which was slightly confusing, but it was fine with the shop to pull up on the side of the building and park. They gave me different information than other places and the highest quote I have received on the work I need done. I am going neutral on this and I have no opinion if I would go here if I were you, but maybe check them out since they carry certified parts for certain vehicles vs other body shops. Good luck with whatever you need done and hopefully they can give you a decent quote that matches what you're looking for :) read more

Fermahin's came highly recommended by Aloha Kia. Unfortunately, this past September, I was side swiped and the entire lower driver side of my new 2015 Sorento was ruined. I know... I cried, trust me, I cried.. I called my insurance to let them know that I would be taking my car to Fermahins for repairs. They warned me that Fermahin's wasn't on their approved list, but I didn't care. Kia recommnded them, I'm listenin' to Kia. I'm really glad I did, they were awesome. I thought I'd have to make an appointment to have the photos and estimate done, but when I called, Brandon told me no appointment needed and that I could come down anytime. I was there later that afternoon and within 10 minutes the photos were done and I had an estimate in my hand. Brandon was super sweet and accomodating. Once my insurance gave him the ok, the parts were ordered. Within a couple of weeks my Sorento was repaired and it looked like nothing ever happened. This is where you need to get your body work done. I had to get dents and scratches out on seven panels of my car. I dropped off my car last Monday, and he said a week, so I got it today. It was a full week, but the job was great. When I was walking up to the shop I almost didn't recognized my car because the scratches on my front bumper was gone. There were a little over spray on the plastic part on my rear bumper, but I told Donnie about it, and they cleaned it up. The price was unbeatable. I believe I got a steal on my body work. The job was great. There are no over spray. No orange peel texture surface. It was a class A job. Donnie is the best. While we were reviewing what I wanted to get done, he kept saying, "I'll make'em nice." This should be his quote for his business. When I got my car, yeah, he made it nice. This is the third time we've brought a vehicle to Donnie Fermahin and his team. He advocated for a new fender and bumper cover from the insurance company and got them approved. I suppose it might have been cheaper for them in the end, but I'm happy with the result. What I wasn't expecting was for Donnie's crew to buff out my foggy headlight covers and clean up the inside of the car as well, all at no additional charge. Donnie is old school customer service - going above and beyond with no fuss. In fact, he didn't even mention the fact that they buffed out my headlight covers, but was obviously pleased that I noticed and appreciated the extra effort. I originally came to see Donnie for my bumper on my Toyota 4Runner. They did a world class job and charge a price that was way more competitive then any one else. Next - I have a BMW that was messed up with a leak. One thing I can say - besides saving my car - they took care of this issue because they valued me as a customer - even though it's not a job they do!! It as nuts. I just got back from them replacing my brake light on my BMW and they did it in 15min at 10% cost of the BMW dealer. He sat me down and helped me through the process of calling my insurance company and getting a supplemental claim started and everything just went flawlessly. Eternally grateful for this place! I recently got into a car accident and my beautiful Yaris had a huge fender bender. Everything in the front was shifted to the left, so I was unable to open the driver's seat door. Since I was the careless one who caused the accident and the other car did not have any damages, I decided to pay for my repair expenses out-of-pocket. Thus, I needed to find a shop that provided great service for a reasonable price. Fermahin's exceeded my expectations. First of all, free estimates. I went to another auto body shop before coming here and they wanted me to pay $50 for an estimate! Second of all, this is an honest and caring family business. I had the opportunity to talk with Brandon. Once I told him about my situation, he took care of everything -- gave me an estimate, provided me a car, and called back immediately when the job was completed. Since Brandon and his dad knew that I had a budget, he tried his best not to replace any parts. Everyone was telling me that it would cost at least $5000 to repair my car, but he gave me an estimate of $3000. When he was finished repairing it, the total cost amounted to $2700. And finally, not only did my car look new again, but they washed, waxed, and vacuumed my car. Bottom line: Great staff, great service, great prices, and overall, great business to support!
