They were responsive with emails and phone calls, and took me in on the same day. I mainly spoke to Shannon, who was friendly and clearly explained the process, quote, details, and aftercare. I spoke briefly to Gary, who was also very helpful, as well as the guy(s) who worked on my truck. Where it seems we have more mediocre (or bad) customer service experiences today, this one felt really good. OMG ---- I just got my brand NEW 2026 Lexus NX350H. Picked it up from ceramic coating a week ago, on way to pick up my plates from the dealer and BAM - I got hit! My FIRST brand new car! No one likes getting hit and going through the whole insurance claims process- it's tedious, long and unfamiliar to me on top of all the stress with your car being hit! Going through the list of my insurance auto shops, I called 2020 autobody. From the first call Gary was so patient as I explained what happened and while venting I stressed the need to get my car in as soon as possible bc I needed to get my rental! He listened, was able to assure me he'd get my car in and start the repairs as soon as the claim got assigned to their shop. He was polite, honest helpful and always in touch with updates through emails and calls. He took the time to answer all my ?s, even said he'd handle any calls from enterprise about my rental and explain to me how the whole repair process works: what to expect and a time frame of when it would be done. That seemed to depend on when his shop would get the parts in and I'm so grateful for his attention to detail and using only original parts from the manufacturer- it was bc of that he said the repair may take long, but I knew from that moment I was in good hands and chose the right shop! We came here after our Car insurance referred them to us. Allstate works hand in hand with this company so that was awesome. From estimate to completion it took 2-1/2- 3 days. I feel obligated to let anyone out there who is willing to read this review know that Shannon, Gary, and the rest of the team at 2020 Auto Body are phenomenal at what they do on every level. Almost exactly one year ago, I was involved in a car accident that required significant repair to my vehicle. I found 2020 Auto Body on a list of approved auto body shops though my insurance company and scheduled an appointment to take my car in via my insurance company's website. Unbeknownst to me, my insurance company mistakenly allowed me to schedule an appointment one hour prior to when the shop opened but instead of turning me away or making me come back later, Gary took my car in prior to opening without any complaints and told me exactly what to expect from the process to come. Throughout the entire process, Gary was very transparent, was diligent with his follow-up, and in the end did an outstanding job with the repairs. He was even nice enough to repair damage on my car I had prior to the accident at my request. Fast forward to about three weeks ago where I noticed an issue with my car that was significant enough for me to have to consult my mechanic. After my mechanic took a look, he was able to identify the issue but was going to have to touch some of the repairs done by 2020 in order to address the issue and was concerned about potentially voiding any warranty from the repairs 2020 had done the year prior. At the advice of my mechanic, I contacted my insurance company who reached out to 2020 to address the issue. Shannon then contacted me to find out more about the issue. After a discussion, it was determined that the issue was likely unrelated to the prior repairs. However, instead of turning me away, Shannon was kind enough to let me bring my car in and take a look. In fact, the issue ended up not even being something 2020 fixed but instead one where Shannon utilized his relationship with the tire shop across the street to get them to assess my car, quote me a price, and fix the issue in the same day. He even fronted the bill and had me pay him back upon picking up my car. He did not need to do any of this, but cared enough about me as a customer to go the extra mile to help me out when I needed it. This body shop is awful. I was involved in a collision where I was injured and my dog was injured as well. My all state insurance company recommended this place to take my damaged car too to do the repairs on it. Upon bringing it to the shop my experience was horrid, the first person told me that it would take 2 to 3 months to repair, I was very disappointed in hearing this but I still give them an opportunity to repair it. They estimated my damage at over 16,000 dollars in damages and call me rudely to tell me that they are over there threshold of what they are allowed to repair. The employee name was Gary and he was not polite to me in saying this at all, so of course I get defensive because I believe I was being mistreated substantially. The next day he calls me to tell me that they want to tow my car back to my home, I asked for them to hold off until my insurance company gives me the Greenlight. Later on I was told that all state would cover the repairs, so I was lied to by the employee and treated very badly. I tried calling the body shop back to them that all state would repair it and give them the go ahead on all repairs, they turned my insurance company and I down saying that I was rude to them, and do to our discussion they would not repair my vehicle. They then had there tow company call me and tell me that they are dropping off my vehicle back to my house, where I only have 1 parking stall, and had to find parking for my brand new 2021 Ford eco sport which was in the hot sun. I highly advise against using this company for any body work they are cruel, they are dishonest, and flat out rude. I would give them 0 stars If I could. read more
