1 STAR -- Extremely disappointing experience with WDC Moorpark and Thermador…read more I am extremely disappointed with my experience purchasing a high-end Thermador appliance package from WDC Moorpark. When you spend a significant amount of money on a premium appliance package, you expect not only quality products but also good customer service and support when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. The sales experience During the sales process, everything was great. The sales experience was professional, helpful, and made me feel confident about making such a large purchase. We ultimately decided to go with a Thermador package because we believed we were purchasing a premium product from a reputable retailer. Unfortunately, the customer service experience changed completely once there was a problem. Thermador hood failed in less than 15 days One of the Thermador appliances, the hood, stopped working when it was less than 15 days old. This was not an older appliance that had been used for years. This was a practically brand-new, expensive appliance that failed almost immediately after installation. I contacted WDC/Thermador expecting that, given how new the unit was, they would stand behind the purchase and replace the defective unit. Instead, I was offered a repair/part replacement. I explained that I did not feel comfortable keeping a brand-new, expensive appliance that had already failed within the first couple of weeks. My expectation was that a unit this new would be replaced rather than repaired. What was most disappointing What really upset me was not simply that the appliance failed. Defective products can happen. What matters is how a company treats its customer afterward. After spending a substantial amount of money on a complete premium appliance package, I felt that once the sale was completed, I was no longer being treated with the same level of attention and service that I received during the sales process. Despite the hood being less than 15 days old, my request for a replacement was not honored. I was left having to push for a resolution rather than feeling that WDC/Thermador was proactively trying to make the situation right. For a premium appliance purchase, this is simply not the level of customer service I expected. I did not expect a brand-new Thermador appliance to fail. But I especially did not expect that, when it did, I would have to argue for a reasonable resolution. WDC Moorpark made the purchasing experience feel premium. Unfortunately, the post-sale customer service did not. If you are considering spending a significant amount of money on appliances here, I strongly recommend asking exactly what happens if an appliance fails immediately after installation and what the replacement policy is for a brand-new defective unit. For me, the way this situation was handled has completely changed my opinion of both the retailer and the Thermador brand. Very disappointing experience. I expected much better after making such a substantial purchase.

I gave them a five star based on the fact they completed the project and the shower is looking and functioning great, especially after the shower door has been in place. So they were able to adhere to their program to complete the project. There was a long lead time from signing the contract to getting the initial installation of the panels. An incorrect shower pan measurement caused another month's delay. After the shower pan and the panels were up, there was another month to get the shower door as the lass did not fit. The panels are not too perfect (some molds if not maintained) and some installation areas are slightly not in line. The low threshold Onyx shower pan drains great But all in all, I can say you can trust this company to install the Kohler products. The technicians Jose, Sebastin and team were well trained and did a good job. Also very helpful is Max the project coordinator who works hard to keep things happening. For this kind of project you would need time to wait for it to complete. My installation only took two days but items need to be remeasured to fit and that takes time.
