Buzzes has been in this town. It seems like for 40 years. We just use them again last month for a freezer. They came out within an hour. They ordered the part and the next day installed it and the freezer was back up and running. Their prices were 50% of what the people in the valley charged. I know who I'm gonna stick with for appliance repair. And the people are very pleasant to deal with. It's nice to give business to a local company, especially when they're very competent and honest and reasonably priced. I would try them out and recommend them to anybody. read more

Buzz Appliance is a fantastic little store, a real gem in Simi Valley. I bought a used washer and dryer from them at a very reasonable price and it is still working incredibly well three years later. I had a problem with a refrigerator freezer that I did not purchase from them and John came out and repaired it at an unbelievably reasonable price and then came back out to replace another part when the fan went out and did it on a moments notice again for a very reasonable amount. This is a five-star service. I had a freezer that was leaking and going into my fridge, and it was creating a huge puddle. I thought of the possibility that it was time for a new refrigerator. I wanted to reach out to a few appliance places to get an estimate to possibly fix it but I was hesitant thinking the cost may be as much as a small refrigerator that I can just buy. John came by and was determined to fix the problem. Keep in mind with these types of services sometimes you have to try different things in order to fix the issue. He tried something the first time, it did not work, tried something the second time and it did not work. He assured me that he does not mind coming and make sure its fixed with no extra charge of what I already paid and if he can't figure it out I would get a full refund. After one more time he finally found the culprit and I have had no issues since. He ensured me to call him at anytime if there is any further issues. We are not fans of buying new appliances since most manufacturers nowadays sell items that seem to be designed with a very short expiration date, cannot be repaired, or you have to wait months for the parts to arrive. Not bringing more new junk into this world also makes sense and should be the common denominator that our society will never understand. Wow! After an exhaustive search for a reliable company to fix my dryer, I decided to take a chance with Buzz's, and boy, am I glad I did. John came out right on time, diagnosed the issue quickly, replaced the faulty part, and even took the time to vacuum around the dryer. I had a problem with my Samsung Fridge. Once in a while, it was leaking water. I called my plumber, and he said there was nothing wrong with the pipes. He advised me to call Buzz's Used Appliances. I called yesterday to ask someone to stop by, take a look and if it needs repairs. They came by today. The two reps opened up the freezer section and found the issue. They explained what they will do, the cost & try to prevent any future problems. The work was done within 30 minutes. Hopefully the problem is resolved. Only time will tell. It's great to see people who know what they're doing, who are professional, honest & trustworthy. They do the job for a reasonable price. They don't waste your time. Awesome Service!!! I spoke with Eugene about my situation. I had an old washer and dryer, plus a refrigerator that wasn't blowing cold air and a problem with my new dryer. Eugene, offered to take my old washer and dryer (I gave it to them for free), the fridge wasn't worth repairing and we scheduled an appointment to find out why my new dryer was vibrating/rattling. Eugene didn't really find anything wrong other than, some dryer sheets that were in area inside the dryer that possibly could be the problem. Anyways, long story short, Dryer works quietly again and my old stuff isn't taking up space in my garage anymore. I told Eugene to expect me to be by to buy a fridge this week. I needed a fridge on short notice, and I had a tight budget. I looked at roughly 4-5 stores and found what I wanted for the best value to Buzz's (fairly large, top/bottom unit for $250, 8 y/o). 5 months after I got it, it stopped working one day. I called Buzz's Appliances for help, and they agreed to come out to my house. Ends up that there were so many ice deposits on the back of the freezer that the cold air wasn't getting into the fridge. It was likely because the freezer door was left ajar one night (it was very full). Some water might've melted and then been refrozen after the door was closed. Someone came out to my house the same day I called them, and they fixed it. It was an extensive effort to pick out all of the ice, but he didn't charge me anything. Then, a little over a week later, the freezer was keeping perfectly cold, but the fridge stopped working. This time it was because a fan went out that circulated the cold in the freezer with the fridge, likely due to the normal wear and tear it's had over the past 8 years. They replaced the fan, again for free. Someone was out here only one day after they were notified of the issue. They definitely stand behind their products, and they follow up far more quickly than most major companies do. I had to wait like 6 weeks for Macy's to send someone out to look at my mattress. I was very hesitant to buy used appliances because I assumed there would be no one to fall back on if something went wrong. Fortunately, I was very wrong. I'm sure there's a "warranty" period, as there's a limit to how long they should be expected to pay for things like normal wear and tear. But I definitely recommend them and will buy through them again in the future. read more

I am pleased to highly recommend Buzz's Appliance as my go-to repair for all my appliances. I have used them about 15 times over a 30-year period and have only had positive results. I had a slow low volume water leak coming out of my 10 year old washing machine for several months. Only leaked after cycle was complete and volume was so low I would dry the floor and let it go. I. Finally got around to calling Buzz's owner Mr. Kim last night and his son, John, got here this morning and diagnosed and fixed it for just $135. It needed a new pump and they showed me why. Job took only 30 minutes and John tested machine out, completely, and gave it a clean bill of health with an estimated good 10 more years of good life on it. I scoured the phone directory for a repair service for my refrigerator ice maker. I got quotes of $1,000.00 down to $ 200.00. I wanted my ice maker fixed spend less than the "national debt" or told the ice maker had had it and needed to be replaced. John looked at the ice maker and said is $ 200.00 ok? I asked John how much more and John said that's the total unless I wanted to pay more. He said the only thing would be a brand new one if he could find it. I said no $200 is fine and when could he do the work? John said he needed a part, so was Tuesday ok. So Tuesday came and he was on time and serviced the ice maker and I have ice and water. if you use someone else you are wasting money and the professional service sitting here ready to do a quality job for a quality price.
