I was given this business name and number by another repairman , I called and he called me back and we setup a date for him to come he showed up and determined the problem and said he would have to order the part , a few days later he called and said he had the part and made a appointment with me he showed up and put the part in and plugged it in the part blew again he determined that there was another major problem somewhere else and said he could repair the machine but the cost of finding out the real problem and repairing it would possibly cost more then buying a new dishwasher and he would not charge me anything for the second day . It is refreshing to find a honest repairman who keeps the cost of the repair in mind when doing the repairs and keeps the person up to date on the cost before the repairs are done and tells them if the cost will be more then a new appliance. The light would not go off under my above the range microwave. Took the bulb out and continued to use the oven. I was worried that if there was something wrong with the M/W that it might cause damage...like a short or fire. So, Matt arrived and told me it was the motherboard (I was afraid of that) that was keeping the light (that gets very hot) on. However, he said I could put a lower watt bulb or just not use the light and it would not effect the operation of the microwave. Matt is a True Technician! This is not someone who has read some manuals and will try three things before they give up. This is a man who actually understands the equipment and troubleshoots using years of experience and tech know-how. I called him in an emergency to look at two different pieces of equipment he's never worked on before (Hallman range and TurboAir commercial freezer). He was the only repair tech in the valley who would even consider coming to help since this equipment is so niche. It took him under an hour with each machine and they were fixed. Our washer died last week and being that it is a combo unit with a dryer a replacement was going to run at least $1400. After googling appliance repair I called Richards. Matt saved me a lot of money. I called him from a reference from Splendide regarding a problem I was having with the washer/dryer combo we have in our RV. I had been told that my issue would cost a $1000 bucks or more.
