When I needed to repaint interior walls, I initially wanted to use the same brand that the builder used over a decade ago, but I was told that Dunn Edwards paint is high quality and the painters preferred material. They're also able to match pretty much any color of you bring them a clean sample at least an inch wide. As a non-contractor, this store was very easy to navigate and the staff was more than helpful making sure I got the correct supplies. What I noticed during application of their paint is that the roller does not splatter much and has excellent coverage, which is helpful for interior ceilings. Relatively great value, don't waste your time and money at Home Depot or Lowe's for watered down paint. Highly recommend this place!

It was toooo bright so I spent another thirty minutes or so with her trying to get it to darken a bit. I went home painted a sample on the wall. It was still too bright. She wanted to darken it but not go overboard so I appreciated the thoughtfulness. After all that I still wanted it darker but thought to myself if it's easy enough maybe a shade darker if not, no big deal, I just want to get it done. So I went back in (the poor thing having to deal with my fussiness! It's the first thing I've done as an owner instead of a renter so I wanted it to be just right) So Zoey AND Jocelyn (both amazing) did some troubleshooting and they got the perfect shade between Argyle and Green that we named Gargyles, patent pending lol! It turned out exactly how I wanted it. On top of all that they got me a great deal on a higher end paint that would be easier to wash and since I have two little girls with grubby little hands that was pretty important to me! I also received a coupon that expires in about half a year so I can still use it after I've recovered from this experience! They kind of saved my butt when I bought the wrong stain color from another store by giving me some stain colorant for free. You won't get the best advice on all their products as they will plainly admit not knowing fully its application. That being said, I did go back and will continue to do so as it still is quicker than any other large store and their prices are comparable with other paint stores. They may even give you a 10% discount if they feel nice, still haven't figured out how that works.
