I have spent a small fortune w them as my Hot rod shop TODS HOT RODS INC is across the street from the store. Since relocating here some three years ago, I've bought 100s of thousands likely in total here. It's a joy to deal w these three and some day I honestly just walk over there to see them even when I don't have anything to buy. They care about me as a person and my business and some days honestly , I just get tired of talking to myself or my two employees. So what do I do ? I take a walk across the street to see these three. They are more than managers. Let me tell you. Fun place to shop, we get our pet food needs and supplies here. Our pets are all rescues, but at least they eat good. The selection of dog food is amazing, we get Hill's Science Diet and Taste of the Wild for its very high protein levels. Mixing the two makes our big buddy a powerhouse, at times we think he is part gazelle, he jumps so far. The pricing is very good too, and they take coupons. TSC has a great inventory of things you'd need around the home, garden, workshop, farm or ranch. Last night they had a bunch of baby ducks, talk about cute, but like kids, too bad they have to grow up. There is one thing that is very unusual, strange even, and that is the employees. They are not only easy to find, they will actually help you find something, and as though that is not enough, some may even swap stories or jokes with the customers in the process. See what I mean? It seems like a very busy store compared to my old location in Fresno. It was clean and the clerks were friendly. I grabbed 2x the amount of pelletized bedding I get for my bunnies. I can't believe Moorpark is now the nearest location for from me living in Oxnard. It's a 30 min drive. The person who answered the phone stated that they went back to their "normal" hours. When i get there at 730 they were already closed. Normally I love Tractor Supply Company. What's up with this location, though? Well, it was a bit in disarray on 7/10/21 at around 4PM. Boxes lying around everywhere. This isn't a ma & pa store. It's an established corporate company. The expectations are a lot different when you've been to other TSCs that do it a lot better... I appreciate the assistance I finally got from one young lady who was pushing a heavy load of feed, but otherwise no one greeted me or assisted me. By the time I stacked a few items awkwardly in my arms, I finally noticed a few carts on the other side of the entrance - not very visible to patrons who have never been to this location! The rewards program is free to join and worth it if you frequent any TSC. I just received a 10% of my purchase which includes clearance items through the middle of August. Not bad, not bad. On another note, I wish TSC as a company would start investing in items made closer to the States. I saw many items labeled "Made in the USA" but many made in way across the Pacific pond. The selection here for horses is pleasantly amazing. Especially for feed. This was my first experience visiting a Tractor Supply, I have heard about it for some years, but never visited one to date. Upon walking in, I was amazed at the sheer size and volume of selection that they have for all things and animals related. It's one of my new favorite stores For sure! The staff was very friendly and very helpful. I even ordered an item online and it was delivered the next day. They have bales of hay that are condensed. You can actually pick it up yourself without the help of another or a dolly for those in between times. Many helpful products that you would never even think of before seeing and the price is right I highly suggest anyone who hasn't visited a tractor supply to stop by and check it out. Came here to buy some oral ivermectin for my chickens. Store is huge and has all kinds of farm and agriculture needs. Even had live baby chickens. Too cute! Prices are fair, store is clean. I looked at their small pet supplies (rats & mice and stuff) and was interested to see they had a good plain-pellet diet for rats & mice, but sadly their inventory had gotten moldy. YIKES! The employee you have walking around asking people if they need help was so annoying! He seemed drunk. I was there around 11:00 on a Sunday. He was walking up to everyone trying to be funny and carry on conversations. He got me and asked if I needed help. I said no. I'm' good. He then looked at my shoes up to my face in disapproval. I am 64 and have short hair with an undercut. I don't look my age. Was it my hairdo? Was it my tee shirt and jeans? He looked like he was gonna spit at me. I stood there and said "why you looking me up and down like that. How creepy" He walked away. He did look a bit white trash. I was happy he wasn't the cashier. I used to get my farm supplies from a store named theresas country feed and pet which is a mile away from my house. Than online i discovered Tractor supply, which is 6 miles away from my house and as soon as i went i fell in love with the place, i have to go at least twice a week its like a disneyland for me. Unfortunately the last 3 times that i went i had very bad experience, customer service wise. My entire life i havent posted any bad reviews before i myself own 5 retail stores and i dont like to hurt other businesses. Last time when i went i was checking a bottle that was on a Atv car. 2 employees were passing by a guy and a girl. So the guy employee said this gonna look nice on ur property he thought i was checking out the ATV, i didnt pay attention and did not respond he said it again with a sarcastic voice so i showed him what i had in my hand and the girl employee laughed. When he saw the bottle in my hand he said you didnt hear abt this bottle. Anyway than i went to the bathroom, he came after me and finished before me started to wash his hands and took forever since theres only one sink to wash. I didnt say anything. So as i was going to the register to pay he made sure to go to be the one on the register to help me, he rang everything without asking my phone number to look up my account, so when he was done he had to do it all over again to add them to my account, also i had couple items to return , he gave me a hard time telling me he cant look up my account he waisted my time asking id and stuff so it was 9 already he told me he cant return anymore bcz there system closes at 9. Unfortunately i wont go back to this store bcz of this employee, and im not a regular customer each time i go i spent a minimum of 600$ and up. I hope the CEO or the owner can go back on cameras to thursday september 5 from 8 to closing to see what happened . Be very careful if you order online. The delivery dates were deceptive, so when I got my receipt, the delivery date was too far away, so I immediately called, and the customer service person put the phone down and for half an hour all I heard was her checking people t on the register. They closed the store, went home, and left me on the open phone waiting. In the meantime, I sent an email to customer service and told them to cancel the order because it was arriving too late for my use. I then called the head office the next morning and waited on hold for 20 minutes until someone could take my call. I explained the situation and was told they couldn't do anything about it. "Sure you can. Cancel the order." "No, I can't do that," she said defiantly. I replied, "Sure you can." I think it's a crummy organization when they won't help you with an order that I canceled within an hour of ordering it because their delivery date suggested delivery within 2 days. ANaywa, just warning anyone to be careful because this company does not and will not help you with a return even if it is their fault. Such a shame. I shop here religiously and just love the products they carry and how helpful the employees are. That said, as I walked in this morning I was greeted by Mario and he informed me about the upcoming farmer's market and all that it entails. I was so impressed by his candor and his knowledge because it was as if he had the answer to all my questions! He helped me resolve the issues regarding my garden and the recommended the appropriate products. There is nothing about this store that is worth even walking into. I called yesterday and was told the manager would call me back which didn't happen so I called today and I got a manager who had to check with another other manager who told me to take my brand new, barely 3 month old pressure washer back to the manufacturer. I'm a 70 year-old woman. I explained that to them they didn't give a damn and they told me to take it back and they would not take care of it now the reason that makes me angry is because when I bought it, the manager that I purchased it from after checking with them said that they would guarantee it for a year and if I had any problems with it at all, I can bring it back to the store. Just got back from this Tractor Supply Co. in Moorpark. I wanted to purchase some cattle panels to use as a garden trellis in the backyard. They have both 16' (standard) and 8' in stock. Both are heavy gauge galvanized wire and are rugged. Even better is the extremely helpful crew that loaded the long panels into the back of my truck. Tied up nicely with bailing wire so it would not spring out when unloading. Who knew they could be loaded so neatly and securely in the back of a short bed truck? Thumbs up guys! Helpful staff, great selection. We just started coming here and it was already one of our favorite stores. However, we just went in to purchase items and the older woman at the register belittled my wife, she was so nasty for no reason. She yelled at her for having items at the bottom of her cart under bigger items but she didn't! She explained this and that a fellow co worker actually went out of his way to log the bulk items so she wouldn't have to lift or move them. And then she accused my wife of being facetious. Then after scanning all the items she barked at her "is that compressed hay"? To which my wife responded "hay?" As we had straw in our cart (which she had scanned) and she barked "I'm asking you a question" my wife said "no ma'am it's straw" so then she barks "but is it compressed?! " As if my wife was stupid. We looked at each other and my wife responded "I have no idea what it's listed as I asked the gentlemen in the back for straw." She just kept staring at my wife, and as we left she sarcastically sneered a few last comments at her. We were just dumb struck. We got to the truck and as we drove off my wife was so angry and upset she began to cry. She was trying so hard not to give attitude back to this woman. Great service. The workers are helpful and go out of their way to answer questions and offer help. Always a good experience shopping there. They pretty much have most of what I need for my home and gardening. We rented a trailer for moving some furniture locally and the gentleman was so helpful and friendly, you could tell he likes his job and talking to people.. Beautiful new store in Santa Clarita. Very neat and well organized. The employees were very hospitable. The prices seemed pretty reasonable from what I saw. I came here to make use of the pup bath and grooming section located in the back of the store. I love how everything I needed was in reach... down to the clippers, comb, and brushes. There were several selections of shampoos. The only complaint that I have is the shampoo and conditioner bottles were either almost empty or completely empty. They were about a liter each. I looked in the cabinet where the supplies and towels were kept and the bottles underneath were empty too. I asked an employee and she quickly looked in the back but returned empty handed. She said they have been meaning to order more. I do not know how busy this part of the store is but there is no other place in Canyon Country where I can bring my dogs to get bathed other than on the other side of town so I would think that they would keep the supplies stocked for the customers. Other than that, I really have no complaints. I would definitely go back but I would check first to see if they had shampoo and/or conditioner or I will just bring my own. read more
