As former happy customers, we called Poirier to recommend an electrician to fix the oven setting…read morewhich was stuck in the loc position. They recommended a group named Upper Appliance Repair. We were very disappointed with their work. The man who arrived was not an English speaker, so we could not communicate sensibly. We knew what the problem was and what fix was tequired, but he proceeded to move the stove and its oarts around for 11/2 hours. In the end, he said he needed to order a new part for $500. Then, in a few minutes, he announced that he had fixed the problem--and we only owed $399, This smacked of fraud to us;; we were not able to get from him an invoice, and it makes us wary of dealing any longer with Poirer. We saw online several other reviews regarding this group, all with the same kind of uncomfortable experience.

I did have my dryer already pulled out from the back of the wall and I sent him a picture of it so that may have helped? But he gave me a snappy quote, I paid him half upfront for the part, and he ordered the part which came in the next day upon which he installed it, took pictures of the old one, the new one and exactly what he did. He cleaned up and was amazing and a really nice guy too. In the end, my Maytag dryer needed a new heating element. Well done all around to Illia.

They were prompt, professional, and delivered exactly what they promised--all at a very reasonable price. What also stood out was that they even replaced another part that wasn't part of the original issue, without charging extra. If I could give over 5 stars, I would. Ned and Cameron were fantastic about answering all of my…read morequestions, being totally upfront about what they were doing and the timeline of my situation, and working until the job got done. I would recommend Edgeworth Appliance to anyone who needs their appliances repaired or replaced. Detergent fell all over the front of my 2021 LG 3400 washing machine, which had otherwise been working fine. I found Edgewood through the LG service website, and Cameron at Edgewood was able to send Ned to me the same day to evaluate my machine. Initially Ned thought it could be repaired and he ordered the parts. A few days later when the parts came in and Ned installed them, It turned out that the detergent had done more damage than he thought and that it would be more cost-effective for me to go with a new machine. He didn't charge me for the parts, and instead priced out a replacement machine (I ended up going with the LG4000 since they had it in stock and it has a sanitize function and wasn't that much more expensive than the 3400) and told me that he would be able to install it for me the next day if I wanted. Ended up being the day after, but Ned kept in touch to make sure I was ok with the delay. Cameron also stopped by to help Ned carry the machines around since the staircase in my house is tricky. I like the new machine, and I am happy.

He quickly assessed that the drain pump was not functioning correctly. He gave me a honest quote, and he asked if I wanted to make the repair. After discussing with my wife, we agreed to get the washer repaired. He had the part with him and got to work to replace the part. In addition to making the repair well, he spent time to check that the washer worked after replacing the part and that it did not leak before closing the washer up. He then moved back the washer in place even though I am the one who moved the washer in the first place. He gave me a 1-year warranty on the repair as he used a genuine LG part. He was professional and courteous. I would definitely call Home Pro Appliance again for any appliance problem.

Update Regarding to the owner's reply: I am glad that you…read morereply the review. And you are the guy who came and did the work. But I want to point a few things that you are giving falsely. The MOST IMPORTANT: I search on https://corp.sec.state.ma.us/corpweb/CorpSearch/CorpSearch.aspx I could not find this company is registered with MA. It could use a different business name or something. I posted the screenshot below. 1. The machine is having board issue due to you bypass the safety check on the machine without permission. And you broke the machine, now it is not only could not spin dry, but also could not wash. The machine is totally damaged at this point due to your work. 2. For the first visit, you did not provide the estimate 30 mins before the appointment. The fact is that we waited 1 and half an hour since the appointment time. And get no calls or messages. Then WE called your office, then find out he could not attend the appointment due to the previous work was stilling on going. Then we rescheduled the second appointment. So there is 30 mins before notice or anything for the first visit. For the second one and third one, WE called 30 mins before the appointment to make sure, since we did not get any calls. If you believe your company is doing what it is doing, then you need to do a better job on employee training. 3. Up to the third visit, you could not fix the machine, and it is normal to challenge your diagnostic work plus you totally broke the machine at the third visit. It is quite normal to challenge your ability at this point. 4. The "Heavy load" your technician claimed is 2 shower towels, 3 hand towels and 2 kitchen towels. I have my tenant records the washing process and what the load is. 5. You as a man walk into a woman's face and telling her that she is not normal when she is calling your company to complain about the service. This is becoming a threaten and calling the police is a way to deal with threatens. And to be honest, it is shameful for you to threaten your customer using body advantage. 6. And you are being racist. And I have my tenant hearing the whole conversation, and the neighbors. I understand you are backing up your employee. But please be honest. If you are running your business by not telling the truth, it will not go far. DO NOT FOOL YOUR CUSTOMER. Original Post----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Zero stars if I could. Extremely unprofessional and a complete waste of money. We called Mass Appliance Masters to fix a coin-op washer. They missed the first appointment with no heads-up, told us that they could not make it ONLY after we called. They diagnosed "belt and engine" issues and collected $195, but the machine is still broken and won't spin at the end (clothes are soaking wet every time). During the third visit, the technician tried to blame the failure on "overloading" a load that literally consisted of 2 shower towels and 3 regular towels. Instead of owning up to their failed repair, the technician got aggressive, acted totally bossy, and told me directly that "you are not normal." and ask if I were the technician or he is Taking $195 for a broken machine is bad enough, but insulting customers is crossing the line. Avoid this company at all costs.
