I did a partial kitchen reno and needed to match the existing quartz counters that Mona's team installed last time. Ran into a problem: they didn't have any remnants in that color, and I'd have to purchase a whole slab just to match a little section. Mona came to the rescue! She offered me a remnant of a different color that she promised matches really really closely the original color. And since the new section was to be installed across from the old one (not contiguous), it would be very hard to tell. Sure enough, it worked out perfectly and Mona saved me a lot of money by finding a creative solution. Just like last time, I was doing this long distance without seeing anything in person. With contractors there is always drama or miscommunications, especially if you are not there to supervise. Not with Mona. Her reliability, attention to detail, and smart problem-solving in every project, no matter how small, give me total peace of mind. And the prices are still very reasonable, even years later! My wife and I were doing a full kitchen renovation, which meant a lot of anxiety given the complexity of the project and the cost. We worked with Amy and Leo to do the cabinets and countertops at a price that worked for us achieving our dream kitchen. The two of them are kind, knowledgeable, skilled, and fair. From Amy's responsiveness on design, price, and cabinet questions (and I asked A LOT of questions) to Leo's expertise and speed of fabricating and installing high quality countertops, this was a luxury experience at a discount price. The cabinets are high quality and beat the quotes we received from everyone else by thousands of dollars. Amy worked with us to do multiple redesigns/swap outs of cabinets to make sure our arrangement was exactly what we wanted. We would absolutely use both Amy and Leo again in a heatbeat, though I think it will be a long time before we need any other help given the quality of what we installed. We wanted to replace our older glass shower door and received three quotes from local suppliers…read more Pioneer Glass was prompt, patient and professional. They provided a schematic of how the door would look, and an easy to understand and competitively priced project proposal. The proposal also detailed several options we were considering, including 1/2" glass. We opted to move forward with Pioneer, they estimated it would take approximately three weeks to order our custom door. Just under three weeks later, our door arrived and was installed a few days later. There were no issues, the measurements were correct, door looked great and worked perfectly and swings easily, all 90 pounds of glass. And the 1/2" glass gives the shower a high-end look and feel. We'd be delighted to work with them again on our next glass related project.

From the very first consultation, she took the time to understand my style, needs, and how I use my kitchen on a daily basis. Her design ideas were both creative and functional, transforming my space into something my husband and I could have only dreamed of, like his coffee bar! When we decided that the quartz that we wanted was beyond our budget, Wandra recommended some other quartz manufacturers that could be negotiated with if we found something that we liked. We found exactly what we wanted at the second manufacturer and, good to her word, Wandra worked some magic and brought the price down into our budget. She was extremely responsive and kept us in the loop for fabrication and scheduling. Wandra then worked with us on layout, showing us mutiple layout options that would maximize the beauty of quartz' pattern. The installers were, prompt, courteous, and very neat. They did a great job with the installation, can barely see the seams. They cleaned up extremely well once they were done. I would definitely recommend EF Granite and Wandra Nunes, for a great experience with new counter tops.

Many manufacturers prefer to speak directly with the end user of their product so that they can get all of the details of the issue first hand. Many will not expedite a solution when requested by a vender because it is not their prefered protocol. I've dealt with customer service issues like this for years. Homeowners often feel they are being ignored or pushed off when actually they will get superior service by simply calling direct. Boston Basin is a great company and they were likely following the manufacturer's direction.
