He did it exactly the way we wanted by replacing the big, old jacuzzi tub with a beautiful, tiled walk-in-shower, new floor, and re-positioning the toilet to a better place. We wanted to keep our double sink vanity/cabinet and the big mirrors, but refreshed them with a good paint job. We love how it looks and works!! Arik and his team are very professional, competent and were a true pleasure to have in our house every day. They arrived on time, were always polite, answered all of our questions, made sure our sleeping area in the bedroom was protected from all the construction dust, cleaned up each evening before they left. Arik told us the job would take 2 to 2.5 weeks and it took exactly 2! The only thing left is the glass doors for the shower. Arik brings in the glass guy Rene who measures, discusses what we want, and then orders it for us. When the glass doors are ready to be installed, Arik will come back with Rene to oversee the installation. Arik's price was quite reasonable for the job, and he stuck with it!! There weren't any real unexpected challenges, but he did a few things extra to make sure the job was done right and did not charge any more than his original quote. We highly recommend Arik for any contracting work that you need, and we will definitely be using him again if and when we have another project. I am attaching "before" and "after" pictures.

I called today and asked if there had been a pricing error and Greg informed me there had been no error. I told him I thought the nearly 6X cost compared to Lowe's was a steep charge to support a local enterprise like the Coop and he sharply responded that I should shop at Lowes. Well if that overcharging rate persists and is similar across the line of products sold there, one should not be surprised to learn the Coop is shutting down glass sales and other items are surely to follow. A snarky response from Greg compounds the issue with trying to support this enterprise. OTB

We found two fabulous wall sconces - simple & elegant - that now light up a hallway... and then we hit the mother lode!!! An amazing ceiling fan with light with cool primary color panels that can be swapped out for brown ones (we saw those online). We got the fan for $15... it was missing a couple of parts (like the remote control) - but we contacted the manufacturer who hooked us up with a distributor and the parts were about $150. So... for $165 we got a $700 fan in sublime condition and it has upped our kitchen game considerably!

Ran into a problem: they didn't have any remnants in that color, and I'd have to purchase a whole slab just to match a little section. Mona came to the rescue! She offered me a remnant of a different color that she promised matches really really closely the original color. And since the new section was to be installed across from the old one (not contiguous), it would be very hard to tell. Sure enough, it worked out perfectly and Mona saved me a lot of money by finding a creative solution. Just like last time, I was doing this long distance without seeing anything in person. With contractors there is always drama or miscommunications, especially if you are not there to supervise. Not with Mona. Her reliability, attention to detail, and smart problem-solving in every project, no matter how small, give me total peace of mind. And the prices are still very reasonable, even years later! We spent over $50K on…read morecabinetry and countertops only to find out that the Manager (1) ordered the incorrect size of cabinetry costing us thousands in delays and additional costs from installers; (2) charged our account for materials which were never authorized or communicated to us; and (3) ordered the wrong size panels for our kitchen appliances. The Manager has since acknowledged that she ordered the wrong size panels but now blame local business KAM Appliance. We are now being forced to file a lawsuit against them because she refuses to acknowledge that she had the right specification but, due to her inexperience and/or lack of attention to detail, ordered the wrong one. The customer service is awful. This is the worst store to go to for any kitchen and bath needs. BUYER BEWARE. SHOP ANYWHERE ELSE. YOU WILL THANK ME LATER.
