Ferguson's manager, Betsy, just called to follow up on my initial poor review, to get more details. Ferguson's gets a rating upgrade for that, though why it took over 4 months to follow up is beyond me. One correction: the terrible sales rep's name was actually Allie, not Jamie. I'm told she's no longer with the company. Will I ever go back again? Maybe, if I can be assured that this type of treatment won't recur. The showroom was nice, after all. I didn't actually get to see it, though. We were rushed very quickly through the process. Nothing like a blur of expensive polished nickel, I always say. I hope they've learned something about what happens when you hire people with terrible customer service skills. And I hope whatever's ailing Allie gets resolved: she struck as a deeply unhappy person who takes it out on others. read more

We ordered a new Fisher & Paykel double drawer dishwasher. They had given us the best price around - and the dishwasher came in promptly. The installation team came as we had arranged, and did an excellent job removing our old Fisher & Paykel and installing the new, making sure it was perfectly level and all. They were very professional. This is the first time we used Ferguson, by the way, and we recommend them and will be happy to use them again as needed. read more

Jason was able to calm my anxiety immediately. he was very knowledgeable and was able to narrow my choices to a reasonable selections. Big big fan of Betsy (and Chris). I arrived unannounced and Betsy was very patient in helping me choose my bathtub.... Which gave me the momentum to get the faucets, vanity etc. I was struggling to understand if the size of the bathtub would be big enough for my 6'3'' husband so Chris got in (he's 6'5'') so that sealed the deal! A++++ experience. Especially when Betsy went above and beyond looking at specifications for actual basin versus the length etc. again to be sure my husband would be comfortable in it- We ended up going with the 66'' Sanford cast iron claw foot tub for our place in Maine w/ white feet and a polished nickel faucet... It's gorgeous and elegant. I think the Covid backdrop has made customer service in other places sub par and am so glad I stumbled into Betsy's showroom on this cold Boston day. The number of emails and VMs I left for the customer rep that was helping me was ridiculous. If my card wasn't charged immediately, I would've cancelled my order and took my business else where but she ensured me that my orders will be delivered to me within a few days. Over a week later, and after I had to email her multiple times and left her several messages, she tells me that one of my items have been sitting in the store for a few days now and that she can ship them to me at any time. They were never shipped and I ended up picking them up at the store a few days later. The other item that was supposed to be shipped to my house finally made it over a week late after I had to chase her for it. No one should have to chase down the person that is suppose to be helping you. It's like they are doing you a favor. No thanks. I'll take my business somewhere else. read more

We recently had our kitchen remodeled and purchased multiple appliances through Ferguson at the recommendation of our contractor. It was a pleasure working with Brooke Costa, our Showroom Consultant, who helped us pick out appliances and fixtures that fit our vision of the project. Most impressive, however, was the extra support Brooke provided when we had to return a slide-out microwave that did not fit in the cabinetry we had installed. The box had been damaged so the manufacturer would not accept the return. Brooke hunted down a new box for us and took care of the return. Really beyond the call of duty. Thanks, Brooke! read more

I walked into the showroom to find someone who could help me in person after an incredibly frustrating series of phone calls leading nowhere, incorrect parts ordered by various people in different domains of the company, and non-returned calls for help. My hero Taylor saved the day. I came in with a puzzle that needed to be untangled and an order that needed to be delivered quickly for a job that starts next week, and he sat patiently with me, talked through all the needs, cancelled incorrect orders, started over with a complete inventory of what the job would require, and made sure it will all arrive by this Friday. Really great customer service. They sell the most amazing home and bathroom products. They sell absolute top quality, premium, and beautiful home furnishing products. We bought a heated toilet from them and shower steamer. The quality is THE best here. The staff is also so great. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. Every piece and appliance ordered was delivered with issues - wrong shower equipment ordered in wrong color, vanity ordered in the wrong size absolutely no QC or attention to detail OR any follow up. Had to make over 30 calls to get his sorted out because despite being out on notice I was never proactively called back. Ridiculously frustrating and worse added months to the project because the sales folks at this store simply did not pay attention to detail. RUN don't just walk AWAY. You are far, far better off ordering direct fro Some of the on line companies or go to a store with real customer service. Do your self a favor and take my advice! Everyone we have worked with has been very nice and seemed knowledgeable. However, we received only partial deliveries and we still have items in our garage that were never part of our order. I would estimate that a third of our order was delivered incorrectly or delivered very late even though we had been told it was ready for delivery. This held up our contractor and cost us extra money. We gave them latitude due to the pandemic. However, they sent the wrong toilet bowl we have been using while waiting for it to be safe to have workers in our house again. When I called today to retrieve the correct toilet bowl that, once again, we were told they were holding for us, yet a third person (the first two people we were working with have left without our being notified), Jake could not not find any order under anyone's name. When I called back with additional identifying information, I could only leave a message. at this point, I would discourage anyone fro. From using Ferguson. Broken promises, excuses , delays and incorrect orders have overshadowed the few successes they ma aged. Look elsewhere for now. read more

Only went here out of convenience to comply with MA code, unfortunately they operate like a car dealership, once you make the purchase they basically shove you out of the door. Priscilla was nice at first but once we paid she acted like we didn't exist and was out on the hunt for her next sale, pretty poor service. Furthermore my order came late with missing items, I had ordered 3 body jets but only one arrived. Not sure if it was the sales rep fault or what but still waiting to hear back after calling them and getting the "I'm with another customer" response because they like to leave the whole store with just one sales rep and no manager? Their delivery service is also disappointing because the driver just dumps it in your driveway and runs off, left me and my wife with a 67 inch tub. read more

Together, we made all of the right choices for what I was looking for. He was attentive, professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Ferguson is a terrible company with terrible customer service. I purchased a stove through them, and the stove has a ton of issues with it. They have not been helpful in getting the stove serviced. It's disgraceful how they treat their customers! The sales rep I worked with is a joke! read more

On a saturday another supply warehouse suggested I go to Ferguson to find a Contactor for my condenser. This place is open 10-5 on saturdays when other places are only open till noon. Also, these guys don;t care if I'm a contractor or not, they'll sell me anything they have in the warehouse. Other places wouldn;t sell me a contactor because I wasn't licensed. I got a lemon GE Profile from Ferguson's and no one on staff bothered to call me back or respond to my requests for help, even when the fridge broke twice in 2 weeks! Working with an interior designer, I ordered GE Profile appliances from Fergusons. My Profile fridge broke when it was 6 weeks old. The fridge temp was fixed at 59 F and the freezer at -30. Despite repeated calls, Ferguson's was non responsive. After 5 days a GE tech came out and fixed the unit, saying it was my fault. 4 days later it broke again. I emailed, called, and tried to get help from 3 different Ferguson's offices. The two contacts in Boston never got back to me. Robert Johnson, Operations Manager ignored my emails and our sales contacts simply didn't call back. I had to wait 4 days (w/a family of 2 little boys) with no fridge. NEVER have I experienced such poor customer service. I will never shop there again and I suggest you take your business elsewhere too. read more

Nice selection but make sure to ask about their restocking fee. I was interested in a kitchen faucet and bar faucet which totaled $1300. I asked if I could return it and the saleswoman said yes but that there was a 35% restocking fee as it said right on the paper work that I was to sign before they ordered it for me. Ouch! Other stores like FW Webb do not have this policy. read more

I went to Ferguson to purchase a medicine cabinet, bathroom faucet, and water filtration system. I left without making any purchases. Taylor, the young sales guy who tried to help me, needs some basic training on products and customer service. When a customer asks to see the medicine cabinets -- show the range of options and be knowledgeable about the products. If you don't know the answer, take the initiative and find it out. While I could have ordered a medicine cabinet and returned it if it didn't work out, he said be careful with the packaging -- if the mirror breaks, he, surprisingly, said blame it on the packaging. He was also not knowledgeable about the water filtration systems. I had to look up ratings online while there as he could only say one system was cheaper than the other. This whole unfortunate experience was over 30 minutes. We've bought many times from Ferguson in the past, but getting the right salesperson certainly makes a difference. read more

My 8 month old Viking Dishwasher stopped working 3 days ago... It was originally purchased from Ferguson in Newton. I started calling 3 days ago, after about 3 messages I go a call back from our rep Angela, she said she would help me out, since then I have left 2 messages and nothing.... Angela has been my main contact in the Newton showroom although everyone there has always done their best to help with anything that I've needed. Angela is one of the hardest working people I know. She arrives in the show room way before it opens in the morning in order to complete orders & other pertinent matters so that she has time when the showroom does open to devote to clients & walk in customers. She is an ACE when it comes to lighting and plumbing fixtures & features : price points, style, quality. Very poor customer service. repeated errors with orders. I received a damaged item which was replaced, however, the old item was not removed at that time and it took several emails and many weeks to get it off my property. Poor correspondents, lack of effective leadership and slow. Use another resource - there are plenty of better and more reliable suppliers. read more

I used Ferguson Bath in Newton for the renovation of 2 bathrooms at my house. I dealt with Craig Nevin at the Showroom most recently re the renovation of my family bath. Craig was most friendly, low key and helpful in helping me select all the fixtures for my bathroom. More importantly, when we ran into a problem with the shower valve upon installation, Craig came to the rescue to resolve the problem. That, deserves special mention as it is very important these days to find a company that would stand by their service and guarantees. Also of note is that Ferguson's pricing was competitive and if you live in or near Newton, our experience was that they could deliver in stock products within 24 hours if need be. I am glad I have found a local company/store that we can support and use and would recommend Ferguson to others. Kudos to Craig and the management team at Ferguson Showroom in Newton. read more

Good selection of products but the showroom feels a little chaotic at best. They do not match online pricing and claim their pricing includes exceptional customer service, but I disagree. Once we purchased our items - scheduling deliveries, getting updates on products and providing service to us ( the customer) seemed to be a hassle for them. We used Ferguson to buy our washer and dryer for our new home. The home was a new construction and the developers used Ferguson for all the kitchen appliances as well so we figured we would check them out too. The sales staff were all very nice and helpful. We worked with Jerry. He knew price was a big factor for us and he originally showed us a very good option. He also knew that we had not closed on the property yet and suggested we pay for the units, but hold on on ordering them in case something fell through we wouldn't have to pay for the re-stocking fee. The next day he ended up emailing me with an even better deal on a better quality unit. I was thrilled to see we could get something better for even less! They also honored a rebate deal going on that expired before we were able to place the final order. The unit was ordered as soon as we closed on our property and they were able to deliver it earlier than expected. I strongly recommend Ferguson for anyone looking for appliances. They're customer service far exceeds that of Home Depot! read more

I'm writing to complain about the manger John and his asst. Lauren. I purchased 6 under cabinet fixtures and had them installed 4 months ago. Over the last week 3 of the 12 Zenon bulbs have already burned out. I have looked at quite a few places and had no luck finding them. I called the manufacture and was told that they would be happy to replace the bulbs but Ferguson would have to contact them. I called Ferguson in Newton, Ma. on Thursday and asked for a call back no one returned my call. I did the same on Friday and again no one called back. I called today 7-27-2015 and insisted on speaking to the manager Lauren came on the phone. After explaining the issue she put the manager John on the phone also. He claimed that he couldn't find my invoice and could do nothing for me. I told him that Yale Electric would replace them as a courtesy since I had purchased a number of items from them. John then explained that they had a good relationship with the manufacture and he would replace the bulbs. Then John called back this afternoon and told me he would not replace the bulbs because he had found other invoices in my name but not for the lights. This is very unprofessional and shows their lack of concern for the customer after the sale. If this what I went through just to a couple bulbs taken take of I'm glad I went to Yale Electric and not Ferguson for my over $30,000.00 of appliances and lighting. Greg Hebert read more

I'm signing up for Yelp only to write this review so that others might save themselves time and money. I understood that I might pay more for retail, but I went to this place because it was local and I wanted advice on my new bathroom fixtures. The showroom person was helpful enough, but when my faucet never showed up (I ordered 2, but only 1 showed up), this guy never followed up with me - not even once. I had to keep calling, and calling. I finally found the exact same faucet online for $120 LESS, so I ordered 2. I returned the one I did receive, and then it took 2 more weeks of calls and talking to a manager to finally get my $$ back for a faucet I never received (the online place got me both faucets within 2 days, free shipping). I decided to keep the toilet, mostly because it was already here and upstairs. The slow-close seat refused to stay up when in use. I called. I called. I never heard back. I called the manager who said he is would send one out right away. 2 weeks later and now I will start calling again. Between the mark-up and lack of service, I don't understand how this place stays in business. I even told the sales person we were going to be gutting a master bath and a powder room this fall - talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face. read more
