Stopped here for a drink while in Fenway. Upstairs part is always busy, but you can typically get a seat at the bar downstairs. It has a fun atmosphere and the service is always quick and friendly. I have never got food her but the drinks are great. The espresso martini was amazing!

I have been in Boston plenty of times and like to go out and explore different places. This is one bar I have never been to until this past weekend. I came here for my college reunion. We had a fun time and wonderful bartender who was friendly. We had apps that for bar food was pretty tasty. Our event was held downstairs in a pretty big private room area. Drinks were good/ strong. Just a fun vibe all around!

Stopped into Fenway Jonnie's before a Red Sox game on a Tuesday night. The hostesses were very pleasant and greeted us as soon as we walked in. The bar was packed two deep, but they seated us immediately at a high top. Inside was nice. The bar was packed but the restaurant itself had plenty of free space to move around and everything looked very clean. Our waitress introduced herself within a minute or two and brought water. We ordered two drinks and looked over the menu. The Red Bull & Vodka tasted a little off, like it was off-brand or just mixed weird, but it was fine. The Barcadi and Ginger was good (the bar doesn't server Captain Morgans products, we're told). For dinner we ordered the Fenway Burger and Fenway Sausage. The burger was ordered medium, so I expected a slightly pink center, but it wasn't pink at all. It still tasted good, just needed to be cooked a minute or two less. The cheese, onions, pepper, guacamole topping were great. The sausage was amazing. I'd come back for this alone. Absolutely perfect cook and spice level. We tried both the regular friends and the truffle fries. Great crunch on both and very tasty. I'd probably skip the truffle fries next time, the truffle and parmesan were faint enough to almost not be there, so I'd stick with the regular and be happy. All in all, with the close proximity to Fenway Park, the great waitstaff, and the good food, we'll certainly be back.

Great place for drinks and apps before the game. Atmosphere is chill and it packs up.

I have to say I'm very sad that I have to give 2 stars for my recent experience here. Myself and one other person visited before the zac brown band concert, an incredibly busy time at any restaurant in the area. We chose johnnies since I knew they had decent food as well as drinks, based on my experience at the west end location. We miraculously were able to snag two seats at the bar without waiting for long. The bar seemed pretty clean and efficient, ignoring the group of maybe 15 fruit flies that were incessantly flying around the sink that was near us. We got the chipotle fries which were delicious and a nice sharing size. The bartender who was tending to our area of the bar was great, really on top of her game. Until she wasn't. When we arrived, the other person in my party immediately ordered 2 shots and opened a tab for herself, when we ordered the food about 10 minutes later, I then opened up my own tab as well. The bartender had both of our cards and both of our tabs were open. It's important to note that I never ordered anything for the second person that was with me, and vice versa. We each ordered our own drinks, on our own tabs. As the concert was starting soon we ask her to close us out. We get the receipts back with our cards and she had charged EVERYTHING but ONE shot to my tab instead of to the correct tabs. This is mind boggling as well because my friend ordered 2 shots together to start her tab to begin with, so how in the world one of the shots even got on my tab- my tab which didn't even exist yet when the shots were ordered, as I did not give the bartender my card for my tab until after! Never mind the fact that she had overcharged me $75, when I tried to get her attention (we're still sitting in the barstools directly in front of her) she ignores us. The other bartender essentially forces her to acknowledge us, and I inform her the bills are not correct. Her response: well I already ran the cards so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I work in the service industry as well, and in any traditional pos system you can 100% fix this issue. Even if for some wild reason their system doesn't do that, she really shrugged off that she had overcharged me $75. I don't care if it's incredibly busy, there's never a justified reason to overcharge someone and not try to rectify the situation whatsoever, let alone say sorry.

We got a pretty big spread of food (honey bbq tenders, nachos, lobster roll, steak and cheese wontons, and margarita pizza). All of it was very average. The flavors were very average and the quality of the food was nothing special. Wish it was more Seaport quality. It's a bummer since not a single plate was piping hot when it got to our table. Everything was either room temperate or cold. Still a great spot to hang out in the sun outside!

It's like someone mashed together an amusement park, a zoo, and a full-blown circus, then replaced the cotton candy with alcohol and the safety rails with chaos. Every floor felt like a different dimension--one minute you're vibing, the next you're dodging a human traffic jam like it's bumper cars. But the real main event? Colleen. First floor. Absolute legend. Watching her work was like witnessing a headliner performance before the headliner. She wasn't bartending--she was conducting a symphony of pure mayhem. Drinks flying out of her hands like fireworks, orders remembered with supernatural precision, cracking jokes, keeping the energy electric--it was like if a ringmaster, a magician, and a quarterback all fused into one person behind the bar. I showed up stone-cold sober. Like, "responsible adult grabbing a pre-show drink" sober. What happened next was less of a night out and more of a controlled demolition. Somewhere between Colleen's perfectly poured chaos and the multi-floor madness, time stopped making sense. I'm pretty sure I blacked out on one floor and woke up on another like I was fast-traveling in a video game. At one point I may have been part of the circus. Not watching it--part of it. By the time I left, "walking" was no longer an option. I exited the building in a full crawl, like I had just survived a natural disaster. Limbs questionable, dignity gone, spirit intact. 10/10. No notes. Would absolutely risk it all again.

Jake n JOES was perfect to host this at because it is a New England sports bar with plenty of TVs, a perfect game day menu, and a lively atmosphere to enjoy a game with sports decor surrounding. I'm glad they had this Celtics collab. The event was fun, they had free merch at a table handed out by Celtics cheerleaders and Lucky the Leprechaun. We got there towards the end but scored some merch. We did wait for a table since it was a full house for this, but luckily we scored one with a TV in view. My friends and I got dinner, opted out of drinks this round. I got the chicken quesadilla with a side of spanish rice. The quesadilla was pretty good, but the rice was a little undercooked. They also charged extra for a side of sauce which has never happened before so that was a bummer. I wouldn't have got one if I'd known. Oh well. We then split the cookie sundae which was yummy. Cookie was undercooked and a little raw but it was okay. Still tasted okay, food is always good but nothing to write home about. I like it though. The atmosphere and the shared energy of Boston sports fans being able to come together and enjoy a game makes up for the food being above average. I'll still come back and enjoy a game here.
