We got to Fenway a couple of hours before game time and found our way here for a few drinks. We didn't realize that they shut down Jersey Street to only those with a baseball ticket, but The Bullpen has it's own entrance onto Jersey Street, so avoid the main gate crowds and come here to enter the game.

I'm not at all familiar with the Fenway area but stopped in here before my first Sox game. While it was busy and a little crowded, the bar line moved quickly, bartenders friendly and crowd was fun. The convenience of using the bar to enter/exit the park is very convenient.

Wicked Easy is clearly a Hazy Session IPA (not a lager, like the menu indicates)

Quiet place on a Monday night baseball game. Went in for a light lager. Picked the Samuel Adams Wicked Easy Lager, like it stated on their chalk board menu but it clearly was a Hazy Session IPA. Bartender then said it was an Ale. What a joke... But he give me a replacement beer after paying for the IPA. Very limited beer menu. Spacious downstairs area but they closed the street entrance because premium seat holders block off the whole street until 90mins before the game starts. Interesting... Could have left through the back alley but had to make a big circle to enter back where we needed to.

Bullpen clarified a situation and was very quick to respond to a concern I had related to using their entrance to get into the park and the treatment I received from Fenway staff. The issue was not with BullPen it had to do with the Fenway Park staff and the fact that my ticket was a student ticket. With that being said if you have a student ticket just be aware you more than likely will not be able to use this as an entrance to Fenway (Fenway related , nothing to do with Bullpen ) . Despite this minor detail that Bullpen so kindly clarified , I would highly recommend this place. In the short time I have been in Boston it's been one of my favorite places to go before and during the game.

Great pregame spot! Larger and less crowded than Bleacher Bar. Staff were incredibly friendly. Lots of drink of options for an affordable price. You can enter the ballpark / get your ticket scanned at the back door of the bar which was super helpful on a busy ALCS game day! Head down the alleyway at 110 Brookline Ave to find it.

07/14/2019 Came over after lunch to hang out for a while before game time. A very nice sports bar filled with nearly all Dodgers fans. Lots of big screens with all kinds of sports playing. Basketball, Tennis, Soccer, Baseball. Yeah go Dodgers!!!!

I may never attend a game at Fenway without a visit to the Bullpen ever again, though admittedly, I would prefer to go with a friend. Yes, I had given my friend a head's up, but when we headed down a literal alley off Brookline Avenue, he may have began wondering just where I was taking him. But when you turn the corner, there is the oasis that the Bullpen's patio of Adirondack chairs and palm trees where patrons may light up if they like. Inside is a spacious bar with various seating (high chairs at high tops as well as picnic tables) and high industrial ceilings. And in a corner, marked brightly with a huge Boston Red Sox emblem, is their ticketed exit to Jersey Street (previously Yawkey Way), right by the entrance to the Red Sox Team Store. Yes, they'll scan your ticket. Yes, they'll check and tag your bag. But there your game ticket is your passport between Fenway and the Bullpen, and it is a nice option to have. PS - there is no smoking at Fenway (this includes Jersey Street), so smokers may also appreciate this access to the Bullpen's smoking area.

Such a cool underground bar! Wonderful place to grab a beer or a snack before a Sox game! Definitely a great spot for my first game at Fenway (Even if I am a Yankee ). Super friendly staff with an awesome, chill atmosphere and great beer and mozzarella sticks!

Nice place to have some beers before the game ac was not on point was kinda hot in there but food was good

The perfect place to drink a Sam Adams before a wicked pissah of a Boston game. This is the place to go for pregaming, postgaming, or just when you're regular gaming. If you like sports bars, and have a hankering for some local folks to talk sports, come here. Or if you're looking for a local Boston Newport smoker, this is the spot.

Really just a huge rip off. A limited selection of pretty boring beer. I would describe the food as what you would find at like a camp or community center barbecue, you don't really mind it isn't great because you only paid $2.50 for it. Only I didn't pay $2.50, it was $16 for a crappy frozen burger and a bag of utz chips. Literally one of those small bags you get in a bulk variety pack. To top it off the first bartender I spoke with was pretty rude. You'd be better off going to The Kenmore or McDonald's or just nibbling on the sleeve of your shirt.

Not sure why the low overall rating but we loved hanging out here before and after the Sox game for a drink. Neat place, good music and all the employees were nice from the doorman to the bartender.

We got a pretty big spread of food (honey bbq tenders, nachos, lobster roll, steak and cheese wontons, and margarita pizza). All of it was very average. The flavors were very average and the quality of the food was nothing special. Wish it was more Seaport quality. It's a bummer since not a single plate was piping hot when it got to our table. Everything was either room temperate or cold. Still a great spot to hang out in the sun outside!

It's like someone mashed together an amusement park, a zoo, and a full-blown circus, then replaced the cotton candy with alcohol and the safety rails with chaos. Every floor felt like a different dimension--one minute you're vibing, the next you're dodging a human traffic jam like it's bumper cars. But the real main event? Colleen. First floor. Absolute legend. Watching her work was like witnessing a headliner performance before the headliner. She wasn't bartending--she was conducting a symphony of pure mayhem. Drinks flying out of her hands like fireworks, orders remembered with supernatural precision, cracking jokes, keeping the energy electric--it was like if a ringmaster, a magician, and a quarterback all fused into one person behind the bar. I showed up stone-cold sober. Like, "responsible adult grabbing a pre-show drink" sober. What happened next was less of a night out and more of a controlled demolition. Somewhere between Colleen's perfectly poured chaos and the multi-floor madness, time stopped making sense. I'm pretty sure I blacked out on one floor and woke up on another like I was fast-traveling in a video game. At one point I may have been part of the circus. Not watching it--part of it. By the time I left, "walking" was no longer an option. I exited the building in a full crawl, like I had just survived a natural disaster. Limbs questionable, dignity gone, spirit intact. 10/10. No notes. Would absolutely risk it all again.

Jake n JOES was perfect to host this at because it is a New England sports bar with plenty of TVs, a perfect game day menu, and a lively atmosphere to enjoy a game with sports decor surrounding. I'm glad they had this Celtics collab. The event was fun, they had free merch at a table handed out by Celtics cheerleaders and Lucky the Leprechaun. We got there towards the end but scored some merch. We did wait for a table since it was a full house for this, but luckily we scored one with a TV in view. My friends and I got dinner, opted out of drinks this round. I got the chicken quesadilla with a side of spanish rice. The quesadilla was pretty good, but the rice was a little undercooked. They also charged extra for a side of sauce which has never happened before so that was a bummer. I wouldn't have got one if I'd known. Oh well. We then split the cookie sundae which was yummy. Cookie was undercooked and a little raw but it was okay. Still tasted okay, food is always good but nothing to write home about. I like it though. The atmosphere and the shared energy of Boston sports fans being able to come together and enjoy a game makes up for the food being above average. I'll still come back and enjoy a game here.
