Subject: Unethical Management and Privacy Concerns…read more Do not join this gym. My experience was a nightmare of deceptive billing and a total lack of ethics. * Privacy Violation: The owner, Jamie, used her position at a local hospital to access my private medical records after I requested a medical pause for surgery. This is a massive breach of trust and privacy. * Billing Issues: They ignored my requests to pause my membership following emergency surgery and continued to charge my card $400/month. Even after canceling, they "lost" the paperwork and kept billing me. * Customer Service: While trainers Sarah and Zack are good, the management (Jamie and Kristie) is hostile, rude, and dishonest. I have found much better training elsewhere for a fraction of the cost. Protect your finances and your private information by going somewhere else.

At one point while doing roll ups without cues at all I was struggling to see what others were doing and I actually heard the instructor laugh at me. Then at the end she didn't even ask how the class went, she just said that will be $40 glad I could get you in. I just wish the instructor didn't have the class open to the public or had let me know she wouldn't be doing a lot of instruction during the class because all I heard were the ladies chit chatting and the instructor softly counting in the background. It works for them, but it didn't work for me.

Shanon was very accessible to ask questions and texts during the week. I traveled and spent some time in a hotel gym, had to modify my workout at elevation, and had some PT issues with my knee. Shanon was very quick to answer texts to help me accommodate my workout. He has a great way to help you even if you can't get in for personal training by having you take videos and he can give feedback with audio and drawing lines to show better form. This was really key to online training especially when lifting heavy. I am one to have done a ton of different workout styles and have worked with several trainers so I was hesitant to pay for some vanilla type of training but I learned a ton with Shanon that's useful for ongoing maintenance.

Once I was stable enough to start working out again, I wanted to try something new to jump start my recovery. After a little looking around, I found Josh's group at Solid Fitness offered the perfect blend of motivation and personal attention. The customized warm-ups and workouts didn't put any stress on my weaker ankle and Josh designed exercises that complemented my physical therapist's recommendations perfectly. Each day's routine is different and keeps me excited to come back and mix-up the workouts. The studio is a private, comfortable space with every piece of equipment you could possibly need. Five months later, I'm back on track, stronger than before the break, and have added a whole new element to my typical workout. Wish I had found this place years ago!!!

Joe and Clarissa are the best! (Just don't ask me in the middle of one of their challenging…read moreworkouts...lol) But seriously, they know their stuff and they have been kicking my middle-aged butt back into shape...as well as for my wife. The nice thing about Joe and Clarissa is that they are really attentive to your needs and goals and helping you get from where you are to where you want to be. If you have injuries or special needs they always will modify the exercises in order to keep you safe but still give you a great workout. Since working out at their fitcamps I have lost weight and gained muscle (which my wife has commented on), but the best part is that my knees no longer ache when I go up and down stairs and I feel more energized...and I know I could sprint after my daughter to catch her if I needed to. Highly recommend Constant Motion Fitness! As a side note, I never thought to ask them when I got started, but I know now that they are licensed and insured which is unfortunately somewhat of a rarity in the personal training world. So if you are looking at other trainers make sure you ask them their credentials and if they are insured.

I purchased the Living Social deal for unlimited Boot Camps for a month…read more I mostly attended the Scripps Ranch Tues/Thurs Boot Camps with Jordan and I have attended the Wednesday Rancho Penasquitos Camp with Joe once. Both were really great! Joe incorporates a lot of props and games into the workout that always make it fun and interesting, and he is very helpful about correcting your form and explaining the science behind the exercise. Jordan does not bring any props, but his workouts are PLENTY hard. Jordan is an athlete and a lot of his workouts are sports based, which I really enjoy. He incorporates a lot of core strength, squats and cardio for an all-over great workout. I am always sore after Jordan's bootcamps and have noticed significant improvement in my strength. The classes are predominately female, with a couple men showing up sporadically. Positives: + Convenient times and locations + Beautiful outdoors park settings + Positive, encouraging trainers (This is not your scary "military" style bootcamp) + Fun and challenging workouts for all levels (You get what you put into it) + Something different every time so you don't get bored! + Small class sizes so you get plenty of personal attention (Ranged from 5 to 15 people) I definitely feel like I got my money's worth from these boot camps! Sandra had me try the pilates chair and while she makes the movement look so simple, it is super difficult and involves so much core; Sandra makes it look effortless and that is what I want to be as far as fitness goals. Sandra went into great detail about how to do the pilates chair correctly with hand and feet placement as well as describing how your head, knees, and ankles need to be in order to ensure a full body workout. Because Sandra also specializes in pain management as well as working and re-working your pain receptors, she noticed immediately that I need more strength in my feet, which I don't disagree with. I signed up on the spot and can't wait for my first session!!
