Felice Brickell boasts a prime location, making it a convenient spot for a night out. The decor is extremely nice and elegant, with a loft-style distribution that adds to its charm. While some of the tables are a bit too close for comfort, it didn't interfere with the overall experience too much. The ambiance is great overall, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service was somewhat messy . We had about 3-4 different servers throughout the night, which led to repeated questions and a sense of miscommunication. It seems the staff could benefit from better coordination to enhance the dining experience. The food was good but nothing to die for. We started with the ricotta appetizer over bread with fig, which was missing flavor and somewhat uncomfortable to eat. For our entrees, we had the spinach ricotta ravioli, which was okay but lacked complexity and flavor--perhaps a sauce could improve it. On the positive side, the braised beef was great and tender, but the beans that came with it were a letdown. Overall, the experience was just okay. First time at a Felice outside of Manhattan. The location is stellar right on Brickell. The ambiance is delightful, and larger than some other locations either beautiful decor and attention to detail. Frank and Tony at the bar will take the best care of you! Thoughtful wine and food suggestions and they, as well as the front of house staff could not have been more welcoming. Thank you for such a lovely (although brief) time! I returned it to have it reheated. The bowl came back hot but the meat was still at room temperature. The menu is not impressive. When I see an Italian restaurant that doesn't offer lasagna it's a big red flag. No lasagna but they have a burger. I suggest having a white or seafood lasagna to move from the traditional. OVERALL: If you are looking for a place to have a few cocktails or maybe appetizers, FELICE is a nice place. Don't bother if you looking for a good Italian meal. read more

I visited Felice for dinner last night for the first time. My friend and I planned to meet for happy hour (theirs is 5-7), but I wasn't sure what the bar set-up would be like since I hadn't been there before and didn't want to stand around so I made a 5:30 PM dinner reservation just in case. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and as my friend and I debated whether we'd sit at a table or at the bar, the hostess graciously suggested we could sit at the bar for a drink and assured us that our table would be ready for us when we were. Minutes after we sat, a delectable snack arrived. It was a mini-version of their RICOTTA appetizer/toasted country bread, fresh ricotta, Italian linden spicy honey, figs, almonds. It was delicious. We then ordered two glasses of the Pet-Nat Sparkling Rose and it was perfect (the pour was also very generous). The bar tenders were friendly and professional. Once we were ready for our table, we were escorted by the hostess immediately, and were pleasantly surprised to see that the restaurant is participating in Miami Spice. Our server Henry was great and made serveral suggestions. We decided to order one Miami Spice and a few dishes from the regular menu. We had the TUSCAN PROSCIUTTO E BURRATA (better than in many other places), ARANCINI, FETTUCCINE ALLA BOLOGNESE, BAKED SALMON, BLACK TRUFFLE CREAMED CORN and for dessert the TORTA AL PISTACCHIO. Everything was very good, but my personal favorites were the creamed corn and the torta al pistacchio. The real highlight of the evening was the SPECTACULAR service, from the hostess, to the busboys, to our server, and finally the manager who kept coming by to make sure everything was going well. The service is so good at Felice that it felt like we'd walked through a portal that had transported us to a magical land far away from Miami. I would absolutely go back to Felice (especially because I MUST try the ESPRESSO MARTINI TIRAMISU)! read more

We ordered the eggplant parmigiana to start and it was very tasty, however when we got to the main course we found that the salmon was not good, served with overcooked vegetables, it even tasted a bit off so much that we had to return it. We also ordered the bolognese and it was just ok. It didn't feel like it was good pasta. Overall not a great experience. Won't be coming back. read more

Vivian was our waitress and she was very attentive and had good recommendations. The bus boy was incredibly kind and on the ball. We ordered the tuna carpaccio, pappardelle pasta, mafalde limon pasta, the NY strip and truffle creamed corn. Pappardelle pasta was good, mafalde pasta was amazing in my opinion. The strip had a delicious flavor but was cooked very rare - not a dealbreaker but definitely ask for medium at LEAST. The tuna and corn dishes were ok but lacked flavor in my opinion. Had an amazing NYE dinner here with my date. We are both picky about good food and come from Italian families. Most Italian restaurants are disappointing. This place was different! The ambiance, service, and food were impeccable. We loved every moment. Also, for the price, the portion sizes were very reasonable. Overall a bad experience. The service was so slow. Every time we looked over at our server, she was chatting with coworkers. We waited 10 minutes before even being offered water. Our appetizer came out late and then our entree was out before we could even finish the entree. The meals were very bland and my pasta was severely undercooked. However, our server never came over to ask how our meal was or if we needed anything. They asked if we were celebrating anything and when we said my birthday, there was not a single happy birthday or acknowledgement (why even ask??) I would never recommend this restaurant. We started with the Arancini as our appetizer -- absolutely delicious! For the main course, we had the Mafalde al Limone, and it was just as incredible. We were so happy with everything we ordered. What really made the experience unforgettable was the staff. They were not only incredibly courteous, but they went out of their way to acknowledge my birthday -- not just once, but several times! To top it all off, I was surprised with the most thoughtful gift: a full-size Acqua di Parma liquid soap and a candle. I was blown away. If it were possible, I would leave more stars. This is my second review which I rarely do, but Felice deserves it. I was there yesterday with my wife and some friends who had not been there before. Again, the food was marvelous, the service (a young man by the name of Jordan) was probably the best I have had in a long time anywhere. The ambiance has not changed, still magical. The hostess (I believe she was the hostess) by the name of Manuela, a super interesting Sicilian young woman couldn't be any nicer. I can wait to go back and try other dishes. This time I had the branzino al cartoccio .... perfect! I don't want to end this without mentioning that even though I didn't catch his name, even the busboy was very diligent. read more

I ended up disappointed, but this disappointment hit differently because I really like south Brickell and wish that someone would open up a good restaurant here. The service left much to be desired, as I was asked, "Is there anything else that you would like", and when my girlfriend and briefly I looked at each other to confer he immediately followed up with, "this isn't a trick question". I had the shrimp and avocado and then the bolognese. We also ordered desserts for the table! If you're a group of 6 try their house made gelato! We also ordered the pistachio tart which was also decadent! Everything was delicious! Oh I forgot! they started us with the bread with their own olive oil the BREAD was sooo good! The assistants to the waiters, the girls the take the plates away, or bring the food to the table need to be RETRAINED urgently. They perform their job like if working in cheap neighborhood joint coffee shop.
