Conchiglie al Salmone
Austin B.

We dined at Felice during our stay at the hotel, and the convenience made it an easy and logical choice: no commute, just a straightforward dinner option right downstairs with a cozy vibe. I ordered the Conchiglie al Salmone, which was the highlight of the meal. The salmon was well-cooked and flavorful, paired nicely with a rich, balanced sauce that didn't overpower the dish. Portions were satisfying and the quality felt consistent with a solid four-star food experience. Service was closer to 3.5 stars. The team was friendly and professional, but not especially attentive. There were a few moments where follow-ups could have been quicker, though nothing that detracted significantly from the overall experience. All in all, a good, reliable restaurant, especially convenient if you're staying in the hotel or nearby in FiDi.

Tagliatelle Funghi e Tartufo (I added parm) filled with mushrooms. It's okay.

DINNER RESERVATION A MUST! but, Geezus that's good food. I stayed at the Gild Hall hotel where Felice is locate in. Struggled so hard not to eat all the calamari and bread as I waited for the pasta dish. Small restaurant. Really cute ambiance; traditional yet upscale decor. The wait staff was friendly; they're continuously pace the floor ready to attend to needs, asked about allergies, and made great suggestions based on my preferences. I did send the mushroom pasta back. It wasn't bad, just not good to me. I appreciated that there was no hassle, my server was kind about the exchange. Only in NY (and a few spots in Napa) have I experienced a manger coming to apologize for me not liking a meal and ensuring the rest of my experience is good. THE FOOD Durante Negroni (gin): very well balanced. Think I'll try all four Negronis on the menu throughout the day. lol Bread basket: stop. Nice fresh fluffy bread. And darn good olive oil. Calamari: cooked to perfection. A nice light breading, seasoning, and crisp. The aioli was nice and the burnt lemon really set off the flavors. LOVED the artichoke hearts. Pasta Mushroom: large dish and new on the menu. Plenty of mixed mushrooms and light sauce. It wasn't bad, I just didn't care for it. Lacked something. Spinach ravioli: everything I wanted! BREAKFAST VOUCHER: Very basic breakfast, literally 3 small potatoes but my veggie (spinach and mushroom) omelette was fluffy and tasty. I thought of adding cheese, but really didn't need it!

We had breakfast in felice - a small "speakeasy" like bar inside the gild hall hotel . Very classy and great atmosphere . We went for the avocado toast w poached eggs which was yummy , coffee and orange juice were nice as well . Not a place to make a trip to for a special occasion , but you're staying in the hotel it's a fantastic option for breakfast

We had both a dine-in and takeout breakfasts from Felice 15 Gold, an Italian restaurant located on street level of Gild Hall, a Thompson hotel by Hyatt in the Financial District. The food was good, but service could've been better. Nice boutique atmosphere. This restaurant is part of the Felice upscale restaurant chain which has 11 locations in New York (mostly in Manhattan) and two in Florida (Miami and West Palm Beach). This location is named after its address: 15 Gold St in Lower Manhattan. We found out about Felice 15 Gold because we stayed at Gild Hall this past weekend. Each night of our stay came with vouchers for complimentary breakfasts at Felice 15 Gold: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-11:00am and Saturday-Sunday, 8:00am-11:30am. Each voucher was "redeemable for: American Breakfast, Yogurt Parfait, Crostone con Avocado, Felice Oatmeal, French Toast or Frutta Fresca only; served with Orange Juice and Brewed Coffee or Tea." The serving sizes for the voucher versions of breakfast are smaller than the serving sizes of breakfast ordered from the regular menu. Using vouchers, my wife and I had the following: * Crostone con Avocado - chopped avocado, poached eggs, toasted bread, pepperoncino, lime zest * Felice Oatmeal - warm organic oats, fresh blueberries, honey Both items were delicious. My wife liked that the Crostone con Avocado came with two eggs. There was a generous amount of avocado and it was fresh. This dish is essentially avocado toast. According to the regular menu, the non-voucher version also comes with roasted potatoes and mixed greens. I really enjoyed the Felice Oatmeal. I've eaten a lot of oatmeal in my life and I thought the texture of Felice's oatmeal was pretty much perfect. It came with just the right amount of honey on the side and the blueberries were ripe, sweet, and not too tart. The bowl was filling and satisfying. One of our friends, who was also staying at this hotel, ordered the oatmeal too. She had the same opinion as me regarding its texture -- not too soggy and not too dry. She got hers with maple syrup instead of honey. My wife and I also ordered a side of bacon and breakfast to go and paid separately for it: * Bacon ($9) * American Breakfast ($21) - two eggs any style (I requested scrambled) with bacon, roasted potatoes, and toasted bread * Frutta Fresca ($16) - seasonal mixed fruits The bacon was good. Crispy and crunchy. I think there were four strips. Any less than that for $9 would've been a ripoff, so I'm glad they gave us at least four pieces. All components of the American Breakfast were quite tasty. I scarfed it down inside our room. The scrambled eggs were rich and flavorful. There was more of that yummy bacon. The potatoes weren't over-seasoned, which I appreciated. The bread came with butter, but the slices were so tasty on their own, they didn't need it. I think the bread was grilled instead of toasted. The Frutta Fresca consisted of honeydew, pineapple, cantaloupe, blueberries, red grapes, and strawberries. Aside from the grapes and blueberries, all of the fruit was cut into small, bite-size pieces. I often buy fruit bowls from Publix; the Felice fruit was cut smaller -- so there was a bit of a more delicate touch. As for the fruit quality itself, it was fresh and standard of a cut fruit bowl you'd get at a decent grocery store. Both the dine-in and takeout dishes were plated and presented beautifully. Dining in, they have nice dinnerware. The Crostone con Avocado was served on a floral-decorative plate. Felice's takeout containers have Felice-brand stickers on them, which I think is a nice, elevated touch. Consistent with the presentation, the restaurant interior is chic and stylish. There are two compact floors of seating with multiple bars and dining rooms. White tablecloths, button booths, rustic chandeliers, and an intimate wine bar/library vibe. There's a single unisex restroom upstairs. This is just speculation, but I think the staff treated the "paying" customers better than the hotel guests who were there for the "free" breakfasts. Also, I think they seated the hotel breakfast guests in the front bar area and the non-hotel, "paying" customers in the back. We were served coffee, but were never asked if we wanted cream. We had to flag down our server, who seemed quite busy, for cream. When we got the cream, it was a very small amount, so we had to ask for more. We also never got the OJ as printed on our vouchers. I wanted OJ, but it seemed like it would be a hassle to ask for it. So yeah, service wasn't the best. The staff was kind enough, though. Our to-go order was originally brought out as dine-in. They had to take our plates back to the kitchen and pack them up. Not a big deal. The breakfast plate was still delicious. We ended up not using some vouchers to try other breakfast options in the neighborhood. We had a $100 American Express credit/benefit for the items we paid for. Felice 15 Gold opened on October 3, 2012.

Parmigiano reggiano happy hour appetizer

I stopped here for a quick drink and snack during happy hour. I definitely want to come back for lunch or dinner. The restaurant is a little dark but I think it adds to the ambiance. The wine list was excellent. Even the happy hour choices. There isn't much to the happy hour food menu. I tried the parmigiano reggiano with balsamic. The cheese was delicious. Not a bad portion for the price. The balsamic was thick and flavorful. Definitely a higher end balsamic.

When I stay downtown NYC, I always stay at Guild Hall. This restaurant is in the Guild Hall hotel. It's got that same fantastic smell of expensive wood. This spot has been very nice to me. It's judgment free. I can have too many cocktails and stumble back to my room, I can come here for dessert, act like I'm a local and this is even my breakfast spot before I head out into the jungle of New York City. in this case, I needed something sweet after dinner. The brownie was rich and checked that box. They even gave me a dollop of ice cream.

Felice 15 Gold is a solid favorite. I've been to a couple of their locations and they all exude elegance. The one in FiDi is no exception. In the past, I've visited here for HH, dinners and company get togethers . My friend and I chose Felice 15 Gold for our own holiday dinner. Since she was running late and I arrived early, I was grateful to be seated in advance of her arrival. Decor was in full holiday mode--very elegant with dim lighting--and service was exceptional. The server allowed me to try their Felice Rose which was excellent and my choice for the duration of the evening/meal. My friend and I shared the Baked Eggplant for a starter which was a substantial portion for two as well as a delicious healthier choice. Yes, my craving called out to Fried Calamari but I am trying to be good and definitely recommend the Eggplant. It tasted something my family or myself would whip up. There were specials of the day but the menu on its own offered plenty of choices. I selected the Grilled Chicken while my friend went the pasta route. Her selection was Papardelle with Sausage. We didn't wait long before the mains were served. My chicken cutlet was smothered with radicchio, tomatoes and sprinkled with walnuts. This dish was executed well and very healthy. My friend gave her pasta dish two thumbs up. We were too full for dessert having enjoyed such a delicious meal. If in the area, definitely consider Felice 15 Gold. Right on Gold Street and in the Gild Hotel. Great for any occasion.

Love love love. I really enjoyed the tuna carpaccio & fusilli ferretto e burrata. This was the best cacio e pepe I've ever had. My server was excellent - very nice and helpful. The place is so chic, warm & cozy. I will absolutely be back.

This is a beautiful restaurant tucked away in Fidi. Although it's small, it has a lovely, dimly lit ambiance. We got seated pretty immediately, and our server walked us through the menu and the specials. We got the scallop special, which was my favorite on the menu. The ricotta appetizer and fusilli were also great. For the price, I was expecting to be a little more wowed by the food, but it's still a great spot.

After checking into a nearby hotel this place looked good with 5 star reviews online. We walked in for a late lunch and had the pre fixed menu. Everyone opted for the veal meatballs which were perfectly seasoned and sized. It was fresh and delicious. I opted for the Fusilli in tomato sauce. It was ok, the waiter recommended it. Others in my party had the salmon which just melted in your mouth and grilled chicken. The grilled chicken was yummy! I had a glass of pino noir. The waiters were friendly and professional. The ambiance is romantic and intimate an excellent place for a date or special occasion. The decor is classy and the noise level is perfect for conversation. The also offer a happy hour. Try this if you are in the area. I will definitely come here if I'm close by.

Crostone Con Avocado

This restaurant was attached to my hotel which was super nice and convenient. No wait when I went for dinner and breakfast and food came out fast. Servers are nice and checked in frequently. It is a bit pricey. Came with bread and olive oil which I liked. As for the food: -Papardelle con Salsiccia was excellent. The Papardelle was thinner than I'm used to but somehow that made the dish really good. Great flavor and amount. -Crostone con Avocado (aka Avocado Toast) was good. I wouldn't say it's above or beyond an avocado toast I could make at home except for the poached eggs cause I don't know how to poach eggs at home. Bread was hard too. -Cavolini (Crispy Brussels sprouts) were bad. Wayyyyyy too salty. I could not finish these and then had a whole internal conflict cause I didn't want to waste my $14 and mama taught me not to waste food. -Cheesecake was delicious! I wish it was bigger!

Spaghetti Arrabbiata

I stayed at The Thompson for 4 nights and ate here on my last night. I had read mixed reviews from people about the food but really didn't feel like going anywhere else and was able to get the last available table. The ambiance was great, dark, comfortable, and great for long chats, my favorite type of place. The food was actually great, here are the details. - Bread and olive oil at the start was warm and the oil was high quality. Great start! - I ordered the vegan butternut squash soup at the recommendation of my waiter, it was a 10! So flavorful and delicious, I would come back and order that anytime and they should think about adding it to the menu. - Spaghetti Arrabbiata was very good, fresh and great flavor. It could have used a little more salt and chili, which I hate to say because most of the negative reviews I read were because the food was too salty. They most have pulled way back as a result. A nice helping of parmesan and it was great. -The waiter picked out a great Italian blend wine for me. The service was exceptional, my water never got below a 1/3rd down, and my waiter Carlos was great. I highly recommend this place, they clearly have addressed the few negative reviews they received in the past about the salt. I would eat here often if I lived in the neighborhood.

Wow!! The food here is fabulous! I ended up coming to Felice 15 Gold with several colleagues. It's located in the financial district near water street/pine street. There is outside and inside table seating available. Our party had a reservation for 3 at around 12:00 P.M. As soon as we walked in, we were immediately seated. Waters were provided and physical menus as well. The service at Felice 15 Gold was exceptional! Complimentary bread with olive oil was served. Looking over their menu, we had to order a few appetizers! Bruschetta (V) $16.00 garlic, sea salt, crushed tomato, homemade toasted bread, Felice extra virgin olive oil Arancini (V) $19.00 rice balls, tomato, mozzarella, oregano, served with spicy arrabbiata sauce Burrata e Prosciutto $27.00 local upstate burrata, traditionally cured Tuscan prosciutto For the main entrée, I ended up ordering the Cacio e Pepe. Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe (V) $26.00 Pecorino Romano, freshly ground black pepper, 24-month aged Parmigiano-Reggiano After approximately 15 minutes, all of the appetizers came out to our table. The Arancini was phenomenal. The rice balls were relatively small, but flavorful! The ingredients mixed with the tomato and mozzarella blended well. My colleagues enjoyed the bruschetta, which was loaded with tomatoes and the prosciutto! The entrees took a lot longer to come to the table, roughly 40 minutes after the appetizers were served, however, the wait was well worth it! The food was so good! The Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe was loaded with cheese and pepper. Complimentary parmesan cheese was topped on top! I ended up eating the entire dish! The sauce was thick, not too thin. The pasta was cooked al dente. It really was a wonderful dish and I'm so glad that I picked that one to try. I almost selected the Carbonara! Next time!

Yes!

Would this location be able to accommodate a group of 5-6? It looks like they only have small tables in their photos.

They have an upstairs area that can. We had a luncheon of 20 and it was wonderful!

How about dress code? Casual is ok?

I'd say yes, but maybe up a step. A lot of folks who go are going post work, so maybe business casual. Wouldn't wear shorts, don't know that I saw anyone in jeans when I was there. But don't stress about jacket and tie or anything. It's a nice place… Read more

There were a couple specials when we came on a different menu. We ordered a bottle of wine, antinori, ravioli ricotta e spinaci, maccheroni sull'anatra and tagliatelle al tartufo (twice). Everything was delicious but definitely the tagliatelle al tartufo was the star. I'm basic and I love a truffle gnocchi or pasta but this one far exceeded my expectations- from the fresh truffle shavings being included, to the homemade pasta texture (perfectly thin) and lastly but not least the sauce! The sauce wasn't a standard heavy cream tasting base, it was light while still being rich and strong in tartufo flavor. We ordered a second one because we all liked it that much. A close second was the maccheroni sul'antra, aka a duck ragu. I've never had a duck pasta and the fact it tasted like duck but had the same texture as a traditional ragu with pork was delicious. Service was great as well! The whole staff is very welcoming and very friendly while I was waiting for my friends to arrive. Thank you for being such a good memory for my friends trip, I'll definitely be back.

Now that the restaurant has a much more expansive dining space (following renovations and expanding the backs) it's slightly easier to get a table and I noticed that a decent amount of spots at the bar, reserved for walk-ins, were open when we arrived promptly for our 5:15PM reservation. The classics, including the fried artichokes, were all great and we ended up sharing 3 appetizers, 3 pastas and a meat entree which left us stuffed with barely enough room for dessert. I found that the lasagna was my favorite - despite being a massive slice was the perfect level of rich, flavorful and meaty. The other pastas were also amazing, include the pappardelle and cacio e Pepe but we found that the cacio e Pepe was the standout. It was the perfect blend of peppery without being overpowering and was the right amount of food. I think ultimately we could have done without the rabbit and side of potatoes (i.e. fries) but it's a solid dish if you want a proper portion of meat as most of the pastas are vegetarian. Finally, the dessert, a unique cookie roll (lovingly called a salami by our waiter) was pretty interesting though a bit thick and rich. Overall, an excellent Italian spot and deserving of the pain of getting a reservation!

The dining room strikes that rare balance between refined and comfortable. It feels like a place where people actually enjoy lingering. The wait staff were attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without being performative, and genuinely friendly. Service felt easy and unforced -- the kind that elevates a meal without calling attention to itself. We ordered from the lunch menu and were impressed across the board. The pear and endive salad was beautifully balanced -- crisp, slightly bitter, subtly sweet, and thoughtfully dressed. The steamed mussels were fresh and fragrant, served in a broth we happily sopped up to the last spoonful. The fettuccine was perfectly cooked and deeply satisfying. The braised rabbit was tender and nuanced, and the veal and ricotta meatballs were light yet rich, clearly made with care. Even the house wine deserves mention -- excellent, well-paired, and generous enough to make a midday meal feel celebratory without excess. Overall, it felt like grown-up Italian dining done right: elegant but unpretentious, thoughtful but never fussy.
