Tall ceiling space making it feel very luxe and airy. Burrata daily special - delicious Centocolori - simple salad, delicious, esp the tomato! ! Hamachi - refreshing appetizer Fettuccine alla Bolognese - unfortunately slightly overcooked, the pasta sorta clumps together. Paccheri Rosa - soooo good. Love it, the tomato flavor was so rich. Paccheri texture was just right.

Sant Ambroeus Brookfield is one of those places that instantly lifts your mood the moment you walk in. The service is warm and polished without ever feeling rushed, and the whole space has that signature Sant Ambroeus elegance--bright, stylish, and welcoming. I've been here several times and the experience is consistently excellent. The espresso drinks are outstanding (truly some of the best in the area), and the pastries are fresh and beautifully made. Their lunch menu is equally impressive--simple, high-quality ingredients prepared perfectly. The pasta dishes are always spot-on, and the salads are fresh and flavorful. It's also a great spot for a relaxed glass of wine or an afternoon treat. You can feel the attention to detail in everything from the presentation to the staff's thoughtful service. Whether you're stopping in for a quick coffee, a business lunch, or something sweet by the waterfront, Sant Ambroeus Brookfield delivers every time. Highly recommend! Fun fact: The original Sant Ambroeus café opened in Milan in 1936, and naming it after the city's patron saint was a way to signal Milanese heritage, tradition, and hospitality.

So I wanted a cake from here for my birthday- (real bad). I researched the location and prices and book didn't have enough time to secure it on Christmas Eve but I lived. 2 days later I went to my office for something a decided I NEEDED to have this cake IMMEDIATELY like nothing else can happen and mapped out a quest to go in the freezing cold. Sheer absolute delight and joy entered my nervous system as I discovered a location downstairs from my office!! The outside is CUTE? The inside is aesthetically pleasing it's giving rich cafe vibes. The ppl who worked there were not pleasant (lol) they never greeted me, I just walked in and looked around it was like I was in a museum. There was no hostess in the front but a woman was seated at the first table with a child and another patron in the cozy nook to the left. That's were the cake display was and the person behind was helping some folks. I patiently waited and gushed over how much I wanted it when making my order and even said oh no I want the most perfect piece it's for my birthday. The woman did NOT understand the assignment. My excitement had her bewildered and then slightly annoyed- seriously she could have asked me if I want a coffee or something to go with that but nope. So I didn't request one. I bought the cake slice over to the bar and proceeded to video record me unboxing it. No one was there except me. After the video I took the cake to my office and OH MY LORD it was amazing! The flavor profile, the texture, the color, the hints of marshmallow and lemon - THIS is how you make a BIRTHDAY CAKE!! They also offer the busch de Noel a Christmas Log which gave me nostalgia as I remember my father used to order that specific cake for my Christmas birthday in the past. It's pricey and there is no where to park. Not sure I will try this location again but since I work close by I may decide to skip an upper east side location and do a sit down in a fancy dessert cafe. No I didn't like the service but the CAKE! I'm gonna be talking about this cake all year! It's called Prinicipisia I think

The hostess was very friendly when we walked in from the street and invited us to sit comfortably. After being outside, we were pampered the entire time. It was nice to sit, relax in a warm environment, and enjoy delicious food. It's worth the price for the quality and great experience.

Amazing coffee and desserts. Enjoyed afternoon coffee by barista station. Staff was very professional and respectful of us there at the coffee bar. Delicious matcha, espresso and cappuccino. Wonderful ambiance. City, euro chic.

Stopped by Sant Ambroeus Brookfield during Restaurant Week and had a great meal. For starters we had the Shrimp Cocktail and Vitello Tonnato - both very nicely prepared and creative. For the entrees we had the Fettuccine Alla Bolognese and the Salmone and enjoyed them both. Our favorite Sant Ambroeus desserts, Principessa and Tiramisu, were both on the Restaurant Week menu which made us very happy. Service was very professional and friendly. Definitely worth a visit!

Brookfield Place is a beautiful, airy mall with a number of good restaurants and Sant Ambroeus is a favorite of ours. It boasts high ceilings and gently muted lighting that gives off an instantly relaxed but elevated vibe when you walk in. You can enter either from the mall (picture attached) or from the street. The mall entrance takes you past their wine fridge and a well-appointed bar that is stunning. Your eyes take you up to the ceiling and then to the banquettes and tables, everything perfectly laid out. The drinks from the bar were well-crafted and delicious. The staff is very friendly, courteous and efficient. We started with a luscious beet & avocado salad with feta. The linguini with clams was out of this world fresh and delicious, as was the Sant Ambroeus ravioli (spinach and ricotta w/sage, Parmigiano-Reggiano). I was surprised to see my favorite dessert, so hard to find, on the menu: principessa. It is a lemon sponge cake with vanilla pastry creme &whipped cream, topped with almond marzipan, and it is not to be missed! It was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. Special shoutout to George Laflare the manager with whom we had a very pleasant chat toward the end of the meal and who ensures everyone has a wonderful experience there.

went 2x in a day, for brunch & late dinner .. Amazing experience ! The location is very convenient, and the space is lovely. The customer service was incredible. The staff was so accommodating and attentive, and very sweet. The coffee was delicious, I ordered drip coffee, both regular & decaf, mom loved the Espresso con Panna, boyf enjoyed the English breakfast tea. The fritto misto was fabulous, so yum !! how to mix of shrimp, octopus, asparagus, and squash blossoms. The shrimp were so delicious the texture, the fried element of it. It was just to die for! I ordered this twice. For brunch, mom and Boyf both got the omelette which they customized to their liking. Both really enjoyed it and the potatoes that came on the side they thought it was simple and well executed. Sister got the LINGUINE ALLE VONGOLE which she enjoyed just thought the pasta was a little too, al dente. For dinner mom, boyf and sister's boyf each ordered the FETTUCCINE ALLA BOLOGNESE which they all really enjoyed again thought it was simple well as executed, and had flavor! They loved a spicy chili oil that they serve, they all agreed was very delicious. My sister got a fish of the day I believe it was cod. She really enjoyed it as well. To end the night we got the San Ambrose chocolate cake, and the princess cake. They were both so amazing. Really loved the ambience the customer service and everything that this restaurant had to offer. Thank you.

Food was mediocre - the fish crudo dish tasted quite fishy (in a not-fresh way). Pasta was a little disappointing - oily / bland and a step down from our last visit. Service was attentive. Maybe it was a bad day but the food just didn't cut it.

    Pear and lemon sorbet

What an absolutely delightful meal. Came here with a group of work colleagues and had dinner in the private Madison dining room. The star of the show was our server, Ayeryne. She is the absolute definition of hospitality. She was extremely thoughtful, accommodated all our preferences, brought in extra surprises, and made sure every detail was perfect. It's been a long time since I've experienced such impeccable service. We had a pre-set menu, since we were a large party, and everything was fabulous! - Our server sent me out gluten-free bread, which I appreciated immensely, as I am almost never able to eat bread. - The prosciutto was TOP NOTCH (and I am super picky about this one). Burrata was great, too. - They brought me gluten-free cacio e pepe and it made my heart sing. - The branzino was fabulous, including the next day, which is when I got to finish it, because I was of course full by the time we got to this course. - The lemony potatoes were DIVINE and reminded me of my Greek grandma's cooking. - I'm so glad I saved room for PEAR SORBET - what!? The lemon sorbet was amazing, too. - We finished with a bit of limoncello, which brought me right back to Italy. - The wine was great as well. I would 100% recommend this place and I would come back as well.

Went for a work breakfast and did not leave disappointed. The shakerato was soooo good and honestly tasted like an espresso martini. Almond croissant was good however I do prefer a bit flakier.

Went here for brunch with my mom. Absolutely loved it! Great ingredients which is important for my sensitive stomach. The service was top notch and friendly. If I could recommend anything it would be their potatoes and flourless cake *chefs kiss*. 10/10 mom approved too.

The Jeju Green Tangerine Matcha honestly just tastes like a tangerine selter drink but in the best way, because I don't typically enjoy seltzer or carbonated beverages. I really enjoy the flavor and the carbonation isn't too strong, probably because I brought it home to drink. I don't really taste the matcha but I would definitely still order this again. 2. Matcha Einspanner. This is my first time having an Einspanner so I have no idea what I was expecting but this is DELICIOUS. It's so silky and smooth and the TASTE is just right up my alley. The matcha is light but you can still taste it. Absolutely, would drink this all the time if I could. 3. Purple Sweet Potato Latte. This. This. Omg, why haven't I tried this sooner?! The first sip and initial taste, I almost tasted nothing, just milk. And then all of a sudden, there's an explosion of flavor in your mouth. As a sweet potato lover, I was in heaven. I have absolutely no words for this drink, just try it. 100/10 recommend. This is probably my favorite one out of the 3 that I bought. I went around ... 2:45PM on a Friday and most of the seats were taken, if I remember correctly. There were a decent amount of seats and the space was decent. I liked the minimal aesthetic they had for the design of the interior. Not to forget, the staff at the register was absolutely wonderful, she answered all my questions, she's so sweet. I think I'm disappointed that I haven't tried this place sooner. Y'all get out of your comfort zone and try the Purple Sweet Potato Latte !! Or if not, just try this place out. I will definitely be recommending the Purple Sweet Potato Latte to all my family and friends.

I ordered an iced matcha einspanner ($6.95) with oat milk ($0.75) and loved that it already comes with a shot of espresso, so it was essentially a dirty matcha einspanner. I tried each layer on its own before mixing everything together and it was all really good. The matcha cream is the right amount of sweet and creamy and you can taste the matcha with just a hint of coffee. Since I'm a coffee fiend I added a bit more espresso when I got back to the hotel and it tasted even better while still keeping the matcha as the dominant flavor. Next time I would ask for less ice since it was freezing that morning, but on a warmer day the ice level would be perfect. Would love to come back to try their other drinks or order the einspanner again as a hot drink.

It's pricey, but welcome to FiDi. My one complaint is they try to upsell you. It happened to be 787 Coffee which I have visited plenty of times on the island and enjoy. With excitement and in Spanish I tell the cashier that I was happy to come across this place as I have tried them out in PR. How is it that this "jibara" apparently from Maricao, spoke to me in broken English while I am talking to her in our native language, total fail. Anyhow, I ordered the coquito hot latte with an extra shot of rum and oat milk, fine, I paid $11 for a very small coffee. Now what I can't believe is that the quesito pastry was $8. I really wanted it but it was not until I paid that I then noticed the price. I sat to eat it while I waited for my name to be called as mentioned by the cashier. I walked around looking at everything, the music very loud and hard for people sitting to have conversations, the place is very colorful and with many PR sayings, however the place also feels very Americanized with the music and layout. I still awaited my name to be called minutes later, but nothing. I approached the cashier, who was just standing there, to ask about my coffee and she wasn't able to tell me so she asked the barista steps away from her. He pointed to a cofre sitting on their counter, it had my name, and when I pointed out that I was waiting for my name to be called, she shrugged her shoulders and smiled like she didn't care. The coffee by now was not all that hot, I never tasted any rum or coquito flavor and felt I wasted my time at this place. What's more upsetting is that I left a nice tip for a service that was not provided. They couldn't even bring the coffee ti my table once they realized it was sitting there and they forgot to call my name. You can find better service elsewhere.
