I I was not happy with the workman ship and the customer service was terrible they left my car worse than how i took it in.

Worst place ever spent $600 on the clutch repair and end up with $3500 in damages due to the incompetence of these people they're not even certified to work on vehicles. It's pretty sad that majority of the people that go there for one simple thing end up paying twice is more for the damages that these morons don't know what they're doing, all they say to everybody who read says please stay away from this company and I mean that in the nicest way possible I guarantee you they will sit there and tell you the thing that you want to diagnosed is not it and I'll make you pay for more things so your vehicle really doesn't eat once again, I went for a clutch repair ended up with steering wheel problems. Power steering went out and they also cut my wheel sensor. Stay away from this place as much as possible. read more

We were charged $1,100.00 for work that was never done. The passenger wheel rim was also bent upon retrieving a barely running vehicle although he kept it for weeks while we took Uber, taxis and the bus. After taking it to another mechanic we were informed that he didn't replace nor fix the items from our receipt. He rarely answers the phone and kept coming up with more things to repair and a need for more $. See you in court Federico as that's our next step. read more

I am a long customer at this place. They have always been honest and priced below the rest. I referred everyone to this shop. Recently I had to tow my car that wouldn't start in. That was on Wednesday. Friday i called and was told they hadn't looked at it but would Monday. I called Monday and they said Wednesday. I have had no call all day today and no answer at their shop. I understand being busy but it is unprofessional and dishonest to keep saying they are going to work on it and it is still sitting there. I am stuck because it won't start. Every day that goes by I have to shell out more money on a rental so I can get to work. I just had an unexpected surprise that I am grateful for financially, and because it was such a fine example of honesty and a sincere act of kindness. My Yukon was having issues with the 4 wheel drive from not engaging and making terrible noises to lights flashing. I dropped it off this morning expecting that there were serious problems that would be expensive. In fact I was trying to decide if it was time to sell my truck that I use a lot for work, and needs to be dependable. When I arrived to pick it up, I was told that they just reset a module and it is now shifting. I was first surprised that it was a minor fix but when I was not charged for their time, it really made my day. After dealing with someone earlier this week who I paid for contracting services which he did not complete and having to pay more to have the job completed; after a previous experience with another auto mechanic shop rated high on Yelp that charged additional for diagnostic time which was not necessary, because i told them at the beginning what was wrong and to replace the alternator when I brought it in, and after helping a lady find housing at 1/2 the going market rent and not requiring a deposit because I knew the landlord who did me a favor and then she trashed his property causing him additional expenses after she was extended assistance, I was convinced that most people only care about how much they can "take" and lack respect for their neighbors. Got my car fixed at Fed's. Fed is the man! Other mechanics had told me to take the car to the dealer for repairs because they preferred not to work on my make and model. The dealer would have been outrageously expensive and no more competent than an independent repair shop. Fed took care of me. He fixed the car in 24 hours, at a fair price. Car runs great now! I got referred to Fed's by a co-worker. I had gotten a quote from a few other shops saying my repair was going to be at least $600. Fed quoted me about $300. I had my car taken to his shop and the next day he called me and took the time to explain what the problem with my car was and what he could do to repair it. He kept his word on the quote as well. Hands down best automotive shop I have ever done business with. Ran a diagnostic, let me bring in own parts, and they did the rest for labor only! They also kept their word on initial pricing even tho extra work was required. I was able to drop my car off and have it repaired same day. Highly recommend!! Awesome mechanic and body work shop. My Jeep Grand Cherokee was side swiped by an ambulance. He was able to repair the entire right side as well as complete suspension overhaul for $2000 below other shops. He finishes on time and his estimate is his word. My regular mechanic for now on. I just love Fed. He is a super honest guy and knows his stuff. I noticed he didn't have a yelp page so I made one for him. When my brakes were bad, I went to a just brakes to see if I could get a deal since they specialize in them. However, they told me it would be almost $900 to fix! I almost had a nervous break down! I went to Fed's to get a second opinion and he was able to fix them for $190. That's a big difference. This time around my cars starter broke. I had to tow it to them. Thankfully my insurance covers that . I had called a place that had good reviews that was closer to my house. They said $250. I go to Fed and he beats the competition again with 150! I will forever be a customer to Fed. He has treated me so well. And by the way, the phone number is incorrect for the time being. I recently took my 1997 Ford Ranger to Fed's Automotive to have a new A/C compressor installed as my current one after 20 years called it a day. Federico gave me a quick estimate and was able to do the work the next day. The price was easily 50% less than what a dealer would have charged. Late one Friday afternoon, on my way home from work, my ball joint broke, and my wheel fell right off my truck. Two young kids stopped and recommended Fed's wich was 2 blocks away. I called and they stayed open an extra half an hour for me while I was waiting for a tow. They called me Saturday afternoon and told me my truck was done. Honest and Fair my ASS. I found FED"s on yelp and because of the reviews I decided to do business with the supposed "fair guys" at FED's/ I had a water pump and timing belt replaced and installed. Not an inexpensive repair, but I was quoted a fair price. When they were finished with my repairs, I went to fetch my car only to be charged $100+ above quoted price, but still fair. Until the parts repaired fell apart!!! The timing belt fell off due to a tension nut not being properly screwed in. When I reached out to FED'S, before I could even relay my problem or even my name, he began stressing the fact that I was outside of the warranty. I looked at my receipt I was 11 days outside the warranty.. 11 DAYS!! It was almost like he knew his work wouldn't hold up. The heaviest part of my invoice was the labor...that fell apart 40 days later. I was told my engine needed to be removed to fix the part hence the heavy labor fees...found out that was a lie from the mechanic who diagnosed my new issue which is the old issue I PAID TO HAVE FIXED. They never moved my engine and that's probably why its falling apart. I call no one answers and there's no way to leave a voicemail. If you're going to do something, do it right and stand by your work. PEOPLE GO AT YOUR OWN RISK BECAUSE YOU"LL GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR AND FAIR ISN'T ALWAYS FAIR. I'd give no stars if I could.
