The only time I felt the doctor was giving an in-depth look at what was going on with my eyes. They offer you two additional exams that insurance does not pay for, but they are not expensive and worth it for the amount of detail analysis/images they are able to get on your eyes. I hate shopping and shopping for glasses is not remotely on my list of "favorite things" to do; however, she was very helpful and narrowed the type of styles I liked so I could pick what worked best for me. I was trying to get an appointment this month but they were fully booked. They still added me to a cancellation list, and I ended up getting in way sooner, which I really appreciated. Dr. Cha was honestly the best. She was so sweet and easy to talk to, and she didn't rush at all. She took the time to show me images of my eyes and really explain everything, which made me feel a lot more comfortable. She also gave me a printed sheet with different therapies to help with my dry eyes, which I thought was super helpful. I will come back next year :)

The first thing I noticed, upon walking in was how spacious, clean, and not crowded the office was. Our appointments were back to back; The women working at the front desk were both personable and helpful. We waited maybe five minutes each to be seen...not long at all. I was impressed especially by the technology in his office because my previous eye doctor did not have anything like this. I felt like I was at an arcade, with all of the different machines meant to measure my vision. It seemed like a very thorough exam that didn't just rely on what I said but actual computer technology. I don't know about you, but whenever I'm getting my eyes checked, I almost feel like it's a test and I might be answering it wrong. I felt like the various machines prevented me from second-guessing myself. Dr. Alpert himself was very friendly, personable, and asked multiple times if I had any questions about anything we were discussing. For many years, I had gone to a different eyecare center and would get a prescription and then buy my glasses online. Based on his very thorough exam, and recommendations from the doctor, we went with eyeglasses that did cost a significant amount more than I'm used to paying. However, I do believe that we will get what we pay for when they come in, which is expected to be in the next two weeks The young man who helped us pick out frames was very patient as I couldn't make up my mind. I appreciated that he pointed out some frames that were on sale for us since I was buying two pair and we do not have insurance for them. I really like supporting a local doctor who isn't part of a big fancy conglomeration and I look forward to staying with this practice for many years to come. I declined, thereafter they decided charge another 299 to my glasses anyways, which was fully covered by the insurance. They switched up, lied & I declined, thus wasted my time doing all that just to pay or not pay in the end to a bunch of dishonest scum.
