He explained (in simple terms) what was going on. I'll spare going into details of how he removed what looked like a teensy tiny whitehead in my eyelid, but it took a long time. In addition, they somehow billed my insurance using codes that resulted in me having additional charges not covered by the insurance. Again that has never happened at any other Eye Doctor I have ever been to. I believe these issues may be due to dealing with a large corporate structure instead of a local Eye Doctor's office. ReFocus in a corporation buying up local offices and consolidating billing and policies such that they extract more money from patients while providing poor service. I called them to see if they would address any of my concerns before posting this, but I could not even get anyone on the phone who had any authority to help me in any way.
