What a coincidence all 3 "attempts" on different days happened at the same exact time, 22:00 B.S!

this place deserves absolutely 0 stars. delivery driver "route 318" whatever that means because "they're not allowed to give names" so i'm assuming "route 318" is the same person that was on the route for 6 days while waiting for my package from 10/10 - 10/15. anyway the driver never attempted to deliver package and i never received a notice stating there was an attempt not one time because the driver never showed! sat in the house waiting and noone showed!! fedex is paying this person to do absolutely nothing but sit in a truck everyday to scan & label packages as "attempted to deliver" then return them back to fedex for customers to come pick them up. what is the point of the service??? if you don't like your job then get a new one but then again who wouldn't love a job that pays you to do what you want when you want or absolutely nothing. and it shows noone at the barranca, irvine location cares. whoever hired these ppl need to fire these ppl. i will never use this location and wouldn't recommend. worst customer service!

No slip to show there was an attempt

I took the day off of work to receive a package. I got a notification that the driver attempted to deliver, but there was no attempt. There was no slip left showing there was an attempt, no knock on the door or even a ring to the doorbell. I was notified I would be getting a call from the supervisor of the driver and did not receive any call. This has happened multiple times where drivers claim they attempt to deliver when there is no delivery attempt.

This is a Fed Ex shipping location (NOT a Fed Ex Kindos). They only sell the list basic Fed Ex boxes here. Basically I use it to drop off packages I already have a label for when I want a receipt. There's plenty of parking and I never have to wait all that long. Also since this is a shipping center (stake the second entrance = the first is for Fed Ex employees & big trucks) I feel like my packages get sent out faster.

    FedEx marking as "operational delay".

This locally owned location (shoutout to owner Bamshad Bashirtash and his amazing team) consistently delivers exceptional customer service that goes far beyond what you'd expect from a shipping center. Every time I've visited--whether for packing and shipping fragile items, printing important documents, notary services, or even just dropping off Amazon returns--the staff has been incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. They take the time to explain options, offer the best solutions for my needs, and always handle everything with care. Special mentions to team members like Eli and Isaac, who have provided wonderful, helpful service on multiple occasions! What sets this store apart is their genuine commitment to customers. They've expertly packed and shipped valuable items for me with confidence (thanks to their Certified Packing Experts), and everything has arrived perfectly. The store is always clean, well-organized, and conveniently located in the vibrant Los Olivos Marketplace. In a world of rushed service, this UPS Store feels like a breath of fresh air--professional yet warm and welcoming. If you're in Irvine or the Spectrum area, this is hands-down the best UPS location. Highly recommend! I'll be a loyal customer for life. Thank you, Team #6814--you make shipping stress-free and even enjoyable!

For the notary, they were careful and detail-oriented. When it came to my baby's passport photo, they initially suggested taking the photo at home since it can be easier for babies. However, when I arrived, they were more than willing to try taking the photo there--and my baby did just fine. The photo was printed within about ten minutes and it cost $18.31 for two copies of 2x2. This price is reasonable compared to other places. The staff member who helped us was very kind and patient with both me and my baby. I also noticed they assist with TSA PreCheck processing, which is super convenient. The location is clean, the staff are helpful, and I highly recommend Postal Annex for notary services, passports, and shipping needs.

I had heard that PostalAnnex specialized in multiple sizes passport and visa photos (Postal Annex came recommended to me for Chinese Visas - you can even pay them to fill out and submit the application for you! But I opted to do it myself but I still needed the photo). I called just to make sure and they told me they indeed do passport and visa photos (including for China) and when I asked if I needed to make an appointment - they said "no you can just show up anytime during opening hours but it's good to come at least 15 minutes before closing because the whole process takes about 15 minutes) When I showed up there was plenty of parking (it is located on the intersection of Culver and Irvine Center Drive in the main shopping center across from the McDonalds. There was also a sign on the window advertising that they do photos and the Chinese Visas so that was a good sign. The man who took my photo was very nice and knowledgeable - I liked that he seemed very experienced and had done a ton of these before. I also liked how he showed me my photo to make sure I liked it for final approval before he just printed it. You give them your email address for the digital copy and then you also get 2 printed photos for $24.99 which came to about $26 after tax. I just waited in the store (they have 3 chairs you can wait in and have a fridge with drinks to purchase too - or you can walk around the center while you wait). The woman Amrit who works there was also very reassuring and friendly and super helpful as was the man (whose name I didn't get). I chose this location because the other Postal Annex has received some negative Yelp reviews for unfriendly service but at this location (15333 Culver Dr) the service was OUTSTANDING and I will be coming here for all my future passport and visa photo needs! (They also do mailing, have mailboxes, etc.)

I rarely send packages but when I do I struggle with getting the right information. I can see a lot of people use this location as there's piles of packages waiting to be sent out as well as a long line of people coming here. Ahhh the beauty of Irvine shines through here quite brightly. It's not so much because of the poor service rendered by the actual postal workers that makes this location so terrible. It's the behaviors of the customers that causes a lot of delays and frustration. I am still experiencing secondhand embarrassment days later. Some are not the most prepared with their stuff before their turn. Like not having the address needed to send the package. As always, there's always someone who tries to haggle, complain about the prices, or try to get the whole transaction redone to switch to a cheaper no frills option. It's honestly astonishing to me how little concerns those expensive car driving people have for others once inside. Very low class and one of many reasons why I absolutely abhor Irvine area anything. Talking loudly on the phone and failing to realize it's their turn for example. Or trying to cut in line even though there's a long line of people. My goodness. I am just gonna stick with my neighborhood postal office. The amount of stress incurred by coming here is not worth it.
