The staff members here are always so kind, patient, and attentive. I usually go here several times per month just to drop off packages with prepaid shipping labels. The reason I love this location is because if I ever experience an inconvenience, such as needing to tape a corner of an envelope or box up that I may have missed, they offer to take care of everything for me and my packages have always arrived to their destinations successfully. Also, if I ever need to pay for a package to be delivered to a destination with the cheapest shipping route possible, I am able to do so with no trouble whatsoever. You can drop off UPS or USPS packages here (and avoid the post office!) and the mail truck will pick them up by a specific hour every day between Monday - Saturday. I don't even know where to start with this place. The girl at the front desk at AimMail Center was unbelievably rude -- literally one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. She acted like I was bothering her just by walking in. No greeting, no help, no effort. Just attitude. When I asked a simple question, she rolled her eyes at me and gave me the most disrespectful tone. I was shocked. How can someone like that be working at the FRONT desk?! This place has an outdated website. If you send documents using file upload, they go into interstellar space somewhere. Even with my laptop in hand, they could not receive my documents. They told me I must have sent them to a different location but I used the email address they provided. Not helpful. I left with no prints. read more

Staff is completely improfessional, incompetent, very rude, aggressive attitude, act like entitled, and mock you and laugh at you in your face. I have not been treated so rudely before ever. This place is a joke! They change the hours whenever they see fit and don't let anyone know their changing the hours!! Went there today to pick up mail because they're usually open. Mind you today is the 17th of December. There's a sign on their door saying they will be changing the hours to holiday hours and closing at 2pm on Saturday's starting Dec 27th, that's 10 days from know if you're doing the math. I actually give zero stars. I need important documents sent next day so I paid an expensive fee to have it there by the next day. It never got there, it didn't get there for 8 days. So I called FedEx to ask for a refund for the fee I paid to get it there next day. They said it has to through the place I went through for the service. To make a long story short, the owner blames it on COVID. I said so you just charge outrageous charges and promise a time for next day delivery and you know it won't be there, he says no refund!! I will NEVER bring my business here. Its thanks to the community you are still in business during COVID and you are ok with lying to your customers and ripping them off. I came here last week and waited in line for 40 minutes to have something notarized. I called beforehand to ask what qualified for proof of identification. The lady told me to hold on and I waited for 15 minutes and she never came back to the phone. When I got there, one employee was slowly packing a box for 10 minutes while a line of people waited. The other employee seemed to be in training and waiting for the one slowly packing a box to show him what to do. I ended up leaving because I couldn't wait any more. This place is the best! I was walking by last Sunday and remembered that I needed to get something notarized and mailed out. The doors were open and I walked in. I was promptly greeted and informed that the are usually closed on Sundays but were in doing some maintenance. I wasn't turned away immediately but was asked if there was anything I needed. I have stopped here for years for stamps or dropping off packages and they are always friendly. This time I needed to renew my passport and I wasn't exactly sure what I needed but after I went online printed my forms and brought in my stuff the owner was very helpful and since I needed to expedite the service I asked for a rush. My passport was available a few days ahead of schedule and it was the easiest process. I literally dropped everything off and picked up my brand new passport without have any of the headaches. So this holiday season I'm really busy sending out stuff that I sold on eBay and I usually take my packages to the USP store or the USPS, however I come home in the evening and see one lonely package sitting on the floor that evidently was missed for the trip to be shipped out. No problem I told myself, I'll just try the AIM Mail Center by my house. WHAT A MISTAKE. The packages I ship out usually cost around $3.50 max at the UPS store or USPS with delivery confirmation. So I expected to pay around that much for this shipment, maybe a little more due to the convenience. I get to the store and walk to the counter where I see an older gentleman who must be the owner behind the counter deeply gazing into the computer screen. I stand there for about 30 seconds looking at him with no response. Nobody is in the store and I'm just standing there. I give him the benefit of the doubt that maybe he is looking at something important but he continues to stare into the screen, ignoring me completely. About a minute later he says what can I do for you in a tone that sounded like I was there interrupting him. I found this strange but continued with my transaction. I placed my package on the scale and told him I needed to ship this package the cheapest way possible. He quotes me $4.10. I then ask if that included delivery confirmation and he says that will be $1.00 extra. I think to myself a minute to contemplate if a package I usually ship for $3.50 costs me $5.10 is worth it. For the convenience factor I say let's go ahead and ship it. He does what he has to do and prints out a label for the shipment and I take out my wallet and present him with my trusty Visa credit card. He looks at it and exclaims, you don't have anything else like cash? I tell him no and he then says, that will be $.50 extra for the credit card. Look, I used to own a retail store and I know that you get charged by your merchant account per transaction and blah blah blah but I used to eat this cost for customer satisfaction and customer retention. So you may not make as much money, but hey you gain a customer in the long run. this guy obviously doesn't understand this business practice, I mean I already am spending about 40% more to ship this package with him and now he wants to charge me $.50 more to use a credit card? Give me a break. Needless to say I picked my package up and walked out. I understand that small businesses struggle to survive as I used to be one of them, but some things are more important for your business then trying to squeeze out pennies from every transaction. I will not be coming back here for any service they provide as I feel the rude customer service and the unfair pricing is not worth my time. This is my rant for the day! A big no no to this place unless you're ready to be robbed! I was here few months ago and mailed out few thank you cards to my friends for our baby girl's birthday. Only half of them (or less) got to my friends' places as I received few "empty" envelops with post office stamp said "damaged before process". I thought that was just a one time accident that someone really liked my thank you cards! Well, I was here today again just to purchase some stamps since I already calculated how much postage I need on USPS website. The owner (a male Asian) told me they sell stamps and I told him how many stamps I need. He grabbed my mails and put on the scale. $3.90 was the amount he told me, so I gave him the money in cash because he asked for it when I took my credit card out. I asked him just give me the stamps and I want to drop them in a mail box by myself (based on my previous experience). I got my mails with only $2.50 postage on them, so I asked about the difference. The guy questioned me back saying "you know here is not a post office, right?" "we charged you for service!". Um..... $1.40 service charge for buying stamps from them and drop the mails by myself!! I wonder where else I can report him for such a ridiculous "service charge". So, just be ready for any ridiculous service charge when you walk in the store. As a bonus buy, he won't even tell you about his service until you pay for it. Again, don't come to this place! It's not a good mail center at all. read more

For the last couple of years, things I ship out of this location seem to randomly disappear before making it to the destination. I filed a police report a couple of years ago. For several months, the problem seemed to go away. I do not intentionally leave anything at the store anymore, but DHL does their drop offs here when they pick up from your location. This week, it happened again. Whether UPS or DHL, there is one common denominator. My advice is to go directly to DHL if you need to do a drop off. Don't leave anything expensive. read more

I opened a p.o. box here and they kept rejecting my mail causing me money I spoke with the owner and he kept blaming the post office , I went to the post office and they showed me the time the day and the name of the person who rejected it . Came in, asked how much would it cost to mail a piece of paper from Irvine to Philadelphia and make sure it gets there in 3 business days. I was quoted $45 for the cheapest option of $19.xx but "no guarantee" so I walked out and went to FedEx. FedEx sent my mail for $9.90... In this day and age how are you going to try to hike up prices that much. A quick google search and some common sense would tell you it doesn't cost $45 to mail a piece of paper with a 3 day window. read more

I have been there many times because I live so close so it has been convenient, but from now on I prefer to drive 6 miles and go somewhere else. I had a package to send to Canada (regulator shipment) and the price they gave me was $39. Two days after I checked out another post office and I could ship the item for only $9.00. Their pricing is ridiculous. Another time I went there and I took a passport picture (with their basic camera only because I had to have a white background) and they charged me $15 even though I had my own memory. i give 0 star . I often go to ups or fedex to Mail the same thing. This time, I was in a hurry to go home, so I sent a package in this AIM Mail Center. For a package of this size, I often send it by ups and fedex, so I know exactly how much it costs. When I gave them the package and told them I needed fedex's gound, they told me it was $22, which was $12 more than my usual fedex fare. I've thought about it for a while and I'm willing to pay the price to save time. Then when I checked out, I didn't notice the price on the screen. But when I got the receipt, it said $35, and I immediately said, $22? She said no, it is $35. And then explain this to me, that what? I was furious. It was my first and last visit to the store, and they were the worst shipping shop. I've been in irvine for many years, and I've never come across such an outrageous store. It sucks! I came here on my lunch break needing some papers notarized and mailed out. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted with a smile by both of the people working there. The notary public was so nice. She was quick with her side of things, but gave me plenty of time to get my papers in order. I was really glad that I could mail the papers there too since it would save me time from going elsewhere. The owner was very empathetic and provided meticulous care with double-securing my item in addition to including a fragile sticker onto the package. He provided many options with pros and cons to help me decide which route to take and when to expect arrival of the goods at the desired destination.
