The person who answered the phone was very nice, checked on the PRO number for me and put me on hold to get a live status. The package was scheduled for delivery that day (I called around noon) but since it arrived to them after their delivery truck left for runs she said it would be the next day. She coordinated a timeframe with me, to make sure I was available (signed / insured package). Gave the instructions to the driver, and reconfirmed with me later that evening. My delivery was a bit early and arrived in good condition. The way it was stacked inside the truck was a bit haphazard but not awful. Driver was patient as I opened and inspected the item before signing for it. This took about 20 minutes. All in all, I'm satisfied with them and the few folks I spoke with.

That company is so totally over capacity, their warehouse looks like a hoarder set it up. Pallets are stacked without care, so loosely, despite the fact that the cargo certainly came across the Pacific Ocean intact, much of it almost certainly gets completely destroyed in the warehouse. As I write, there are 8 trucks clogging up the parking lot waiting to even get a dock. I have been so far waiting an hour and a half to get 8 cartons picked up, and many others have been here much longer. They have one forklift driver loading the trucks, who has been working on one trucker for an hour. It is very simple. This cargo facility is way, way over their capability, and China Southern would be wise to choose a different cargo handling agent at this airport. Alliance Ground is simply unable to handle the capacity. This building has all the marks of a totally inept management, and I intend to write this opinion directly to China Southern.
