    The back alley where the UPS driver left a neighbor's package....seriously. part 1

    Since this is the distribution center that is closest to me, and most likely serves the area I am in, I just want to say this location sucks. If I could give this a negative or minus star review I would. Suck as in suck a golf ball through a garden hose, suck. The drivers routinely drop my packages and the packages off of my neighbors everywhere except where they are suppose to be. Drop off centers, back alley areas, etc. and getting the customer local service reps to do anything is a joke. I never get packages sent to my place because I know it would become a three ring circus just to locate wherever that package might be. Seriously UPS is this area sucks, sucks badly.

    I've been to this UPS Franklin Park location a few times and the customer service is always so great. Very friendly and helpful.

One of our customers scheduled them to pick up a load of 15 pallets, but two weeks later and 5 scheduled pickups later they still haven't picked up the shipment. They basically have trucking erectile dysfunction. They're just not up to the task so to speak. Their first attempt to pick up the shipment the driver get to our building right before were going to close, so the warehouse guy agrees to stay as long as it takes to load the shipment. We don't have a dock and the truck is too big to back in. We have a forklift and let the driver know we will place the pallets on the end of his trailer, but that has to move them around in his trailer. He opens up his trailer, when we notice he has an 5 foot by 20 foot section of cubical wall blocking most of the space in the trailer. He, then refuses to move the pallets. Calls his dispatch and leaves. Go To Logistics tells our customer that he's been here for 2 hours and that we refuse to load them. All lies. So, they are rescheduled again for the next day. A new drive comes and refuses to move the pallets in his trailer again. He said he didn't want the load and just left, never called his dispatch and leaves. He claims he never made it because the streets were too small. After this we had several scheduled appointments, but no truck ever showed up. What a bunch of losers and a waste of time.

I utilize Staples for many things in my school: copier paper, office supplies, and printing services. I like the Staples print capabilities and their one day turn around time for posters (in particular). Each time I go the Norridge Staples to pick up an order, there is either no employees available or there is general confusion about how to access an order that has been printed. My most recent experience was last week and I was so infuriated by the sheer ignorance of the staff that I felt compelled to write a review. There were three employees (that I could see) - two men and one woman. I asked the woman if she could call someone to the print are - she radioed for someone. Meanwhile the two men and this woman engaged in a conversation, swearing and laughing it up. The two men literally ran to the back of the store and began horsing around with each other. I stood there for over 10 minutes waiting and asked the woman to get her manager or supervisor, to which she replied 'I don't have a manager.' I told her that I was sending en email to the customer email on their website to report how terrible to service is in this store and that I'd be replacing Staples in my school with a new vendor. One of the two men finally appeared and admitted to being a manager, got my order and said he doesn't have anyone to work the print area. Then why would Staples take orders if they don't have anyone to manage the print area? And by the way, the order was already printed and paid for - I just need it to be brought across the counter. Terrible customer service! I'm not sure how this store continue to be open. Take your business elsewhere. You'd be better off waiting for Amazon to deliver what you need than stepping foot in this Staples.

After waiting in a line of 6 people and only one person being served in 30 minutes, I asked why it was taking so long and was treated poorly. I left and cancelled my reservation . So much for express check in and advanced reservation. These app based services don't help when the customer service is slow and rude to customers. Customer service training would be a big plus for this location and U-Haul in general!

She went through all the questions that I had already filled out online. This is very time consuming and got off to a late start! Then she informed me that they didn't have the appliance dolly but had the smaller dolly. That's another inconvenience because when I reserved online I did NOT received any notification that the appliance dolly wasn't available. So I downgraded to the smaller dolly for $7.00. We drove all the way to Woodridge,IL. And guess what? There was no dolly inside the trailer that I rented! We needed this dolly to move a refrigerator and heavy furniture. Because we were pressed for time we proceeded with out it and damaged the refrigerator in the process. When I spoke to the associate to let her know of this, she said that she wouldn't charge me for the dolly. I'm so dissatisfied with the service. I wouldn't use this location again.

There was one customer in from of me who was discussing a package that had not been delivered. The customer was having no luck getting information on the phone, so decided to discuss the issue in person. The agent was trying to be helpful but could not tell the customer where the package was or if/when it would be returned to the warehouse. 20 minutes later, the shipping clerk glanced at me and asked if I had a shipment. I told her I needed to ship my computer to Utah. She pointed to the corner and said "find a box and I can take care of you." There were no laptop boxes available. She finally went to check in the back and returned empty handed. She recommended I got to the other side of the office and grab a padded envelop and put that in the box. There were no padded envelopes so I returned to the counter where three more customers had arrived. She ignored me to take care of the first customer and then when she bothered to glance my way, she asked "you got a problem?" I told her to continue to take care of the rest of the customers and then we could discuss my problem. She said I didn't need to give her attitude. After she took care of the three customers, she went to the back again and remained there for five minutes. I just left. She expected me to put a $1,000 computer in a padded envelope and a box to bang around on its way to Utah. I don't know what the problem was or why I was being treated like a bother, when all I wanted to do was get my computer shipped safely. I am sure if she had completed my shipment, the laptop would be on its way to some unknown location never to be found again.

    First of all the lady at the front is very nice…read more.. But the lazy delivery persons need to be let go ...FIRED!! They lie about going to take packages... stating no one was home when someone is always home. .. but of lazy Delvery drivers!! Smh.
