Driver came to house, did not knock, saw empty driveway and assumed we were not there. My car was in garage waiting on part he was delivering. Never knocked, left ticket saying I was not home. Three customer service calls were useless. I had to drive to facility to "deliver" my own package Because driver was apparent in too much of a hurry to take 30 seconds to knock on my door. FedEx driver lies and reports on tracking site that no one was home. No "Day Tag" and the 2 cameras in the front nor the 2 cameras in the back show no FedEx activity. I'm not a huge fan of FedEx but its how AT&T insisted on shipping my iPhone 6. I woke up early launch day to wait for to arrive. I had to go to work at 3 so I was hoping it would show up during the day. Guess what it didn't. I called to ask FedEx to leave it at the door and they insisted I needed some paper work stapled to the door. They claimed they tried contact the driver but really felt they just put a hold on the package and had it sent to this center. First I live in south Austin and I'm sure there has to be some place down south they could have left it but whatever again. I woke up early and got there 15 minutes before they opened so I could be first in line and get my phone. Since they ruined my dream of having my iPhone 6 on launch day this was the best I could expect. At about 8:50 I noticed a bunch of cars in the parking lot and I knew that I should probably go get in line. I went over to the door and started the line. Everyone else saw what was going and got out of their car and came over. 9AM rolled around and we were standing there wondering if they were going to open. 9:05 still nothing .. I tried to walk around through the garage but they closed it. I know I was being impatient ... I know but when 9:10 rolled around and a line of five people were all out front talking trash on the location I think my frustration became justified. I'd say they finally let us in at 9:15.. no apology no friendly smile.. they just took my info and took their sweet time getting my stuff. I feel sorry for you if you have to deal with these people. As a package delivery service FedEx sucks. I regularly get packages dropped on my porch that are intended for other people / addresses. This happens once or twice a month. If you try to contact FedEx online they run you around a lot & if you find their report a mis deliver package page it starts putting you to work filling in page after page that want your personal data. If you call them to report the mis-delivery and auto / computer added voice does the same thing. If you fight their system to get a live customer support, Guess what they still demand to have your personal info before they will do anything. I DO NOT WORK FOR FEDEX. i DO NOT OWE YOU EXTRA EFFORT TO FIX YOUR MISSTAKE. i WILL NOT DELIVER YOUR MISTAKE TO THE CORRECT ADDRESS. i WILL NOT GIVE YOU MY PHONE NUMBER, NAME, OR OTHER PERSONAL DATA. Yeah - so I knew we were headed here the night before and looked up the address on where else, but yelp of course. When i saw that every review was for one star I knew I was in for a treat. I tried to keep an open mind however. This FedEX shipping center opens to the public at 9am. It is even posted on the door. We arrived this morning at 8:45am. Well the doors did not get unlocked until 9:10am.... seriously. The least they could do would be to open on time. It was not that there was no one there. The garage on the side was open when we first pulled up. I could see someone in there through one of the side windows too. Anyway at 9:06am we attempted to walk over to the garage part that said employees only, but it was closed. They did open and we were first in line to get our package. The lady working the counter could have had some customer service skills and I agree with the other reviews on this as there were none at all. The whole place seemed a bit unorganized too. This place is NOT what you're expecting. If you have something boxed already or need to get your preboxed package sent, then yeah, maybe this is the spot for you. But, if you need them to package your item and are going in expecting that they provide the 'packing service'.. you will be sorely mistaken. The front counter service was amicable enough but at no point in time was I comfortable with the packaging job. She proceeded to ask if I was comfortable with what she had done and I was incredibly uneasy about, seeing as I was mailing away expensive camera equipment. I then asked for extra cushioning and bubble wrap because there was 2-3 inches of room between my item and the box, she replied "we don't really do that here, we're not a full service fedex, you can purchase more bubble wrap if you want..." I've never encountered a fedex that wasn't a full service shipping department.. I know it's not her fault that they didn't provide her with the nessesary tools but there was no attempt at customer satisfaction or any attempt to salvage the transaction and point me to a more reliable fedex option that did provide what I expected. I wound up traveling to the location on Congress to fulfill my delivery, and if I didn't have a company delivery account, I would have chosen another delivery option. read more

Absolutely the worse. Never ship anything from here or ask for a delivery. I had a package delivered to here and couldn't pick up with the allotted 5 business days. I called Fedex and they transferred me here to see if they could extend the hold. They said would hold it until I got back. When I got here, it had been returned (before the five days) and they were no help. Even fedex customer service hotline said that the package should have been held (as they looked at the history). The manager wouldn't even come and speak to me so I had fedex open a complaint. read more

Fed ex is unable to transfer packages between shipping centers for the customers' convenience. If the package ships out of Round Rock, but the customer lives in downtown Austin, then that customer needs to drive to Round Rock to get the package, rather than a nearby Fed Ex warehouse. Their customer service by phone and email is awful. Safe yourself time, and don't even contact customer service. They just talk politely and don't solve anything. read more

(Still here) Plenty of people walking around as if I'm not here.... This entire operation is a DEBACLE. One FedEX driver finds the house and delivers. Another leaves a "tag" saying she or he can't find the house. We share a driveway. Trying to get through to a live person is an Ordeal. Eventually, we got a live voice, not in the US, and had significant problems communicating and understand spellings. They may be good for businesses but "customer service" to individual residences is bad. read more

If I could give this place less than one star, I would. FedEx is a obnoxious company who clearly cares about business customers. They have no regard for residential customers. Today, I drove down through rush hour traffic (4pm on a Friday afternoon), to retrieve a package that FedEx left a second notice for. The driver left a notice saying "Retrieve package any time after 4pm @ Techni-center Location." So I showed up at 4:15, in this completely out of the way spot on 183. It's out near the airport, it has a line of cars 3 miles long that are stacked up, and generally is in nightmare traffic conditions. At the place, the woman behind the counter simply stated that the package would be around when the driver came back. "Julio is slotted to be back at 5pm," she told me. So? My notice says 4pm. I just drove 30mins to get to your location. What recourse do I have? None. Go home, she suggested. Come back tomorrow? Or wait until after 5pm. You MUST be kidding. I also called the FedEx 800 number only to get some girl who sounded about 16. She told me that even though their driver might have screwed up, she would make sure he got a note telling him that he estimated his time wrong. Big deal. Oh, and I could wait until Monday, or I could go get it Saturday myself. I offered a counter - how about YOU deliver the package you failed to give me at the place and time you said, and I'll be around tomorrow to accept it. "Sorry, that can't be done. Worst location ever! A customer and myself had to walk through the offices and into the garage to locate someone to help us. Upon finding ONE person to help, customers on the phone took priority over me. On top that, I called to have my package held at the location and it was put on the truck anyway. Way to go Fedex! We went to this location with some trepidation last night given all the 1-star reviews. We told each other "if they do better, we're going to write a review". Well, here we are. We arrived at 8:40pm with my husband's largest etsy order ever that needed to go to London THAT NIGHT. The site closes on the dot at 9pm. He needed a rare specific Fedex box (no Fedex Kinko's in town carried it), he needed to box up the products, pack it, tape it, et cetera. (Be aware, this site is Fedex-Fedex. Not Fedex Kinko's.) Despite initial reluctance and concern, the employee did a great job finding the box, loaning us tape, and helping us get the package out (as other employees stood by with a cart full of boxes waiting to leave). She even participated with a smile in some high-fives celebrating this order going out. We're very pleased that what could have been a disaster will hopefully, with Fedex's help, be an opportunity for my husband's business to move to the next level. They'd already locked the door, but all the lights went out while we were still getting in our car. Thank you for the help, you know who you are at Fedex! read more

Why do you allow your drivers to park behind handicap parking spaces? This is a misdemeanor in the city of Austin. Several times I have been unable to leave a space because I was blocked in by one of your trucks. I have also had to park in a regular space instead of handicap and was not able to get the wheelchair out because a FedEx truck was blocking 2 empty handicap spaces. Why is this Ok with your company? Why is it acceptable to block any car let alone handicap. Your drivers continually park behind cars in parking lots instead of parking against a curb. read more

FedEx, what a joke. I tracked my packages from day one until to be delivered. Date was suppose to be on Thursday now it's Friday. I checked and checked until it read delivered at my residence.Keep in mind I'm home and checked outside both front and back doors and nothing not even a receipt . I called and got computer animated voice as usual 3 times. I finally said, I cannot find and after 5 minute talked to a human being which was no help. The package was said to be delivered an hour ago by both tracking and this rep. The answer I received from her was it will be tomorrow before the delivery driver can contact you. WHAT THE F... IS THIS??? FedEx can't contact the driver now before your packages are stolen, what a joke. The package was delivered to my neighbor's house next door on a different street name and number out in the open under a carport . The were a total of 3 large packages for the taking half covered under a few pillow cushions. This is not the first time this has happened to me either(3) times . One package I never received. These people don't care about being professional at all. I will not call them back to tell them i found them, but wait for my for my contact to show these people my address number located on the mailbox curb and etc. What a joke. read more
