A representative came out to give us a quote for a new roof. He gave my husband a form, telling my husband that the form was permission to go on the roof. My husband read the form as he been a lawyer for over 40 years. Turns out the form was a contract giving the company the ok to install a new roof! The guy didnt even go up - because he couldn't present the proper form and said he would have a drone look at the roof. This representative was not knowledgeable nor prepared. Buyer Beware: Our Disheartening Experience with Feazel Roofing We're sharing our story in hopes of helping others make a more informed decision before choosing Feazel Roofing. For years, we trusted and recommended Feazel. That trust has now been broken. You never truly know how reliable a company is until you need them to stand behind their work--and unfortunately, Feazel did not. After a recent storm brought high winds and heavy rain, we discovered water dripping from our bathroom ceiling fan and a soaked floor. Given our age and health, we couldn't safely inspect the roof ourselves, so we called Feazel--the company that installed our roof in 2009. With a 30-year warranty, we assumed we were protected. Instead of honoring that warranty, their representative blamed us. They claimed our attic fan had failed, supposedly causing poor ventilation and roof damage. But how were we supposed to know the fan had stopped working? And how did they determine it had been nonfunctional for a long time? We have perimeter ventilation, which we were told was sufficient. If attic ventilation was so critical, why wasn't it addressed during installation? They also pointed out a broken boot around a pipe that left a gaping hole--yet they didn't seal it, despite rain in the forecast. Another roofing company we called later sealed it immediately, even though they weren't responsible for the original work. We've since learned that Feazel Roofing has changed ownership. The new company promotes a "lifetime warranty" and installs solar attic fans to ensure proper ventilation--something clearly lacking in our original installation. Why wasn't this done back then? We had no issues in the 25 years before Feazel replaced our roof. Now, just 16 years later, we're dealing with serious problems. To make matters worse, we were shocked to discover that our paperwork only included a 5-year labor warranty. We trusted what we were told at the time--lesson learned: always read the fine print. If Feazel truly stands by their name, why not honor all customers under their "lifetime warranty"? Otherwise, they should have changed the company name entirely. The most frustrating part has been the lack of communication. Calls go unanswered, and we feel strung along. Even our son, who stepped in to help, is getting the runaround. Feazel told us to file a claim with the shingle manufacturer--why is that our responsibility? We're retired and on a fixed income. We invested in this roof expecting peace of mind. Instead, we're left with stress, damage, and a deep sense of betrayal. It feels like Feazel is more interested in avoiding responsibility than doing what's right. Inquired about one thing and that was the part of the project they did not deliver. They say they are about integrity but they are the most dishonest company and regret working with them. Do not hold themselves accountable as say one thing and do not deliver. Way overpriced for the dishonesty. Excuses for everything when they do communicate with you as try and contact them and will take 2-3 weeks for them to follow up. read more

Terrible service, no dedication to the customer, and clearly only out to make the bucks. Our story is long and dark. We purchased a home in 2019 with a roof that Feazel put on in 2015. The roof has leaked repeatedly in multiple spots. At one point a few years ago their Service Manager came to our home and told us that Feazel would simply replace one section of the roof for free. Then there was radio silence. After a few months, we inquired about the plan and were told they had decided to go a different direction --- which really meant that they decided to do nothing except do repairs as needed. Well, there has been continual need. We had multiple leaks this year, including some former leaks that leaked again and some new leaking spots. Not only did that same Service Manager come to our home, he introduced himself as if we had never met before! And he told us that Feazel had been out to repair the roof 3 times or more every single year since 2015. That's at least 30 repars in the past decade! That sounds like a clear admission that they did a poor job at the outset and provided a faulty installation. Well, then he proceeded to tell us that basically the roof wasn't leaking but that this was all attic condensation that was running through our ceilings. Hmmm. Strange that there is wood damage in the exterior eaves/soffits where some of the leaks have been - where there is NO attic space - and that our interior leaks only occur while it is raining! My PhD in Fluid Dynamics informs this University Professor differently! Then there is the matter of the ridge vents which they "installed" in 2015 and which other roofers recently consulted have shown us are not even open. Again, faulty work from the get go. Most recently (about a month ago), the Service Manager indicated to us that he would be willing to extend our warranty (expiring in August, 2025) for another 5 or even 10 years if we would follow his recommendations. Ultimately his recommendation was... wait for it... install a new roof! So we asked for a quote. Well, there's been more radio silence. Feazel has dropped the ball - a repeating event. It was like pulling teeth - and not the loose kind - to get them to quote us on a new roof as promised. I even texted the Service Manager, asking if Feazel was serious about doing any business with us. I noted that I took their inaction to be simple customer abandonment. Finally a sales person came out - and he was totally unfamiliar with our case, not having read the Service Manager's report. Ridiculous way to do business, but it speaks loudly to their poor service which matches their poor product. As of today we are still waiting for a quote from Feazel for a process that started in mid-March 2025 with several new leaks. My assessment: shoddy product, deplorable service, and incompetent workforce. I will note that the repair crews have been nice guys, and we have seen them so often over the past 6 years since we moved in that we are on a first name basis! But honestly, these are the guys you never want to see after you've put a roof on your home. If you get to know their names, you're working with the wrong company. Feazel brochure states quality and integrity every time, which is totally false. The workmanship was shoddy with cutting up boards or decking instead of replacing with full sheets of wood/decking. They refuse to itemize invoice, and lists costs. Salesman sales pitch stated a Project Manager would be onsite during installation. He showed up long enough to ask customer to sign for boards, and left for a safety meeting. One english speaking, 21 year old was onsite part of the time, and toward the end, while customer was cleaning up nails throw all over the yard (wanted to let the dogs outside) the staff on the roof threw beer cans over my head. I would discourage anyone from thinking about using Feazel Roofing. They lie, and do not care about customer satisfaction. No pre assessment of my roof until day they removed old roofing. Badgering an old lady to get every dollar. Salesman wanted the insurance scope of work so they did not miss anything, when they had no idea about several lines listed in the scope of work like soffit and gutter guards. I have fought for one year to have they send a correct invoice removing lines in scope they did not complete. I have spoken with several people, and all have different information, and no willingness to reconcile the invoice. Now they have turned the remaining dollars they want from insurance claim into collections. Just fucking send a correct invoice listing items listed on the roof, and reduce invoice by lines not completed by Feazel, remove costs for gutters. I have to live with the worry that the roof is not installed with full boards and chopped up and inserted between old boards, and wondering how long the roof will last. So frustrtated and will NEVER recommend FEAZEL ROOFING. I will warn everyone in my older neightbor against using this unprofessional business. If you're looking to work with a company that will take advantage of people in a tough situation then Feazel is your company! After the tornado that came through Delaware county, Feazel came out to myself and multiple other neighbors and stated their cost of replacing the roof would be the same cost the insurance appraiser provided and would not give a quote based on paying cash. Thankfully many other roofing companies were willing to offer quotes without seeing the insurance appraisal. The quotes all came in below the appraisal value so Feazel sure tried their best to pocket the difference and take advantage of a neighborhood when they needed help the most. read more

We called for an estimate on leaking roof over garage. Larry shows up, late. He then says we need a rubber roof because my husband who's 66 yrs old mistakenly says we have a 1/12 roof pitch. My bf says no we don't want rubber, it has shingles now. Larry goes on to argue it, husband says forget it. Larry comes back and rings the doorbell, begins to argue that the roof is not that pitch , fine but we told you we are not using you. Larry come back and ring doorbell again, harrassment! I answer door, Larry then brings up the pitch again, I tell him I'm not sure why you are continuing to ring the doorbell when he said he's not interested. Larry "well he told me it was a 1/12 pitch" I said who's the roofer here? He c on t in yes to argue and bicker, he goes towards his truck and I asked for his name and he refuses, I said well then I need a picture of your truck tag, he's in his truck and I'm telling him to leave. He's rolling down passenger to argue and I'm telling him to F off at this point. read more

Loved the prompt service, both technicians very professional and really focused on my concerns. I didn't feel rushed or like they were pushing any type of product on me . We decided on the best option, they were up front about not having the materials in the truck. They returned promptly with supplies and had the rain diverters installed quickly. I could not have asked for quicker or more professional service than I received when I called regarding a small leak that appeared after a very hard rain. They were out, assessed the situation, and within a day, a tarp was covered on the front and back of my house to protect the entire area in case another storm came through and did more damage. My roof was 19 years old and scheduled to be replaced in 2024 or 2025, which incentivized me to get this done asap. I scheduled the roof replacement six weeks out, and the quote I received was very reasonable, with excellent value and an outstanding selection of lifetime warranty shingles available from which I could choose. Once the crew got into the replacement, it was discovered the wood on the house from the original build did not meet the current code. So, 100% of the roof wood had to be replaced. I had not anticipated this, but Feazel worked with me to find a viable solution. I give five Stars across the board to all of them. Thank you to the FEAZEL TEAM. read more

Had Feasel replace our windows and they never completed the job. Kept pulling guys off our job to work on other jobs. To this day the job is still not complete. I hope they are better at replacing roofs but they will never replace ours. read more

Had some roof damage on 5/10 which was covered by insurance. Called Feazal for estimate. They arrived at the scheduled time and date. We signed the contract and paid $3k deposit. Told we would be contacted in 2 weeks with the installation date. Never heard from them. Called and left numerous messages but no reply. On 6/24, called again and demanded a full refund of the deposit or installation completed in 1 week. Amazingly, the roof was installed on 6/29. When the crew left we noticed damage to our house and incomplete agreed upon work. After calling numerous times, finally talked to a person and was told they would be out to inspect within the next week. No one has ever shown up or called. Continue to call and leave messages with no response. A month has passed since installation. Ready to sue! read more

Spent $24,000 on a new roof and chimney repair in August of 2020. Flashing, shingles, and soffit were not done properly in several areas according to their field supervisor. Three weeks later, after many phone calls, we are still trying to get someone from Feazel to call us back regarding these repairs. So much for the Lifetime Warranty if Feazel will not service it. read more

I hired Feazel in December for what I was told would be a 2 day job. It took 5 months! The only time they showed as scheduled, was the day they came to give me an estimate. Every time I called, it was another excuse. They tried to bill me even before the work was finished. Second team blamed the first team, even though I tried to explain that I hired one company! At first glance the is a good place to have your roof completed. As I have learned all his company wants is your money. Poor, poor customer service after the sale. Promises gave was thrown out the window and lots of lies. If your getting quotes make sure Feazel is last one called because they will lie and almost brake your arm to have you sign their contract. Called 5 roofing companies for estimate for a roof that had storm damage. I decided to hire Feazel for the job. TJ was to meet the inspector for the insurance company. The time was confirmed in advance. Difficulty reaching him on the day of the appointment. TJ finally contacted me 30 minutes before the scheduled time, stated he was in traffic and never showed. The insurance company denied my claim. I guess a different roofing company will appreciate the 40K roofing job. read more

Seemed great at first, but after the first meeting with the insurance adjuster, total lack of responsiveness. Told me they were extremely confident it would get done, then nothing. I've had to beg for responses and now it's been over a month and I still haven't heard anything back. I needed the work done whether insurance covered it or not. If there were a negative star rating, I'd give it. John Forst, a Feazel sales rep came to my house to do an estimate. He mostly talked a lot about my being able to get a "free roof" since the insurance company would pay for it. At the time, I wasn't interested in dolling out the deductible so I confirmed with them the roof was in good enough shape and I decided to wait for a few. Last week, I started getting emails from John Forst talking about statute of limitations and, in general trying to do a hard sell of which I am not a fan. When I didn't bite, even asked him to stop contacting me he replied with an email that reads in part... "Your not very bright & is exactly what we thought about you! You have no clue!". I will be getting a new roof but it will not be with Feazel. Ever. read more

Great customer service, fast and responsive.

Our experience started with the salesman. He laid out all the options for our new roof and didn't pressure us. He also gave us some great advice in dealing with our insurance adjuster. On the work day, 5 men showed up and went to work at 7 in the morning. They worked until 7 PM with no breaks except 30 minutes for lunch. When they were finished they cleaned up and left our yard and driveway cleaner than when they arrived. They're a very professional company. read more

Being a very careful consumer, I've researched a number of roofing companies in town. There have been some mixed reviews about Feazel and I was apprehensive about them. I ended up with Feazel because of the competitive quote that came with high quality materials I got from Feazel Sales Representative, Nick Junker. Nick was very personable and knowledgeable about the roofs and gutter. He made very helpful recommendations and worked diligently with my insurance company. I'm giving only 4 stars because I was having some back and forth with the scheduling office, which pushed the expected roof replacement timeline back for about 3 weeks. The roofing and gutter crews were exceptional with their work and they came on time for the jobs. I have the new roofs for about two months now, and I've been satisfied by the quality of the work so far. I highly recommend Nick Junker (614-588-4447) if you decide to go with Feazel. read more

Mike Feazel does not care about the safety of your family. After having our roof replaced by Feazel roofing I came home from work to find 25 roofing nails scattered throughout my yard and driveway. When I spoke to Mike Feazel about the issue I asked how many nails was an acceptable number to find in the yard. He would not give me an answer but when I told him I had found 25 nails he said 20-30 was acceptable. He also said I should not allow my 5 year old son to play in our yard for a year after the job because of the nails his company leaves behind. Feazel claims 100% cleanup and satisfaction for their work. I believe they missed the mark on this job. If you want a good roof and a clean yard do not call Feazel! They leave nails behind and think it is okay. read more
