Newman Roofing has less of a Yelp presence than on other sites. My kid had a leaky roof and was wading through all the options. You've seen the circulars and the signs in yards. But is the company reputable? And do you really want to go with a relatively new company even if is owned by your buddy. He decided, no. Newman is competitive with hundreds of 5 star reviews. He went with Newman. Subsequently we had a hail storm and neighbors were advising us to get our roof checked out. Our roof was 20 years old. I wanted to be honest with the insurance company and not submit a claim unless Tyler from Newman,who came out to give us an estimate, was sure we needed a new roof and we suffered damage beyond normal wear and tear. Plus we had 2 houses. Well one needed a new roof and the other one likely has another couple of years left. As an aside, if you turn in a claim to your insurance company, even if it is denied, you risk higher premiums or cancelation. That is why it is important to have Newman Roofing spend time assessing. In our case, our roof was more wear and tear with minimal hail. Dan and his guys were on time, even early. Weather has consistently been in the mid 90's. I was worried. But Newman keeps them well supplied with hydration. 14 man crew meant lots of vehicles, even a dump truck but they were minimally disruptive to our neighbors. Furniture moved, netting put up to minimize construction mess on house and garden areas. And then they went to work. All I can say is WOW. I am so pleased. When they were finished, the cleaned up all the mess, including using a magnetized thing for nails in driveway, patio and grass. The yard, the patio, the driveway, the porches are SPOTLESS. I highly highly highly recommend Newman Roofing. They did my kid's. They did this roof and in 2 years they will do our other roof. Price is good too. read more

We were just visited by Tyler Thompson, estimator for Newman Roofing. He was right on time and extremely professional. We thought we might need skylight replacements, but Tyler identified a more likely culprit for the leaks we were suffering. He recommended that we seek help from a stucco repair company to address our leak. He also gave us valuable advice concerning the leaf guards on our gutters that would help us with the water issue. Newman Roofing extended the best gift during an exceptionally overwhelming holiday season. We have an uncommon flat roof for this region that comes with its own challenges. I woke up at 230 am with A veritable shower coming down at the foot of my bed, which traveled to my grandsons room then. Wilmer came out with another employee, upon inspection found a stick/branch sticking vertically out of the rubber roof gouging a hole that seeped into the interlocking steel beam system, where the water then ran in and leaked in sheets. In the same visit Wilmer created a mound around the hole, patched and sealed it. Some they'd done some work in January they did not charge. I contacted a friends friend who does roofing and he told me he knows Newman Roofing and is confident I can be secure with the work without further repair until we do further maintenance. I am so grateful I found Newman roofing. We were stuck in a loop with our insurance company of the repairability of the current roof after wind damage. We were under contract with another roofing company, who we were obligated to use if the insurance agreed to a full roof replacement. I called Newman letting them know I would use them if they could repair the roof so it was in their best interest to attempt a repair. They agreed with my contracted roofing that I should get a full roof replacement. Eddie carefully explained his analysis and even offered to speak with our insurance company. I was floored. They'd get no benefit from doing this, and were still willing to help. From the first meeting to get the estimate all the way through the installation and beyond we can not say enough good things about Newman roofing. There was absolutely no rush in the estimate, no sales gimmicks (get x amount off if you sign today as an example). They were more than willing to take time answering every possible question we had, then told us to take our time and think about it as we made our decision. When it came time for the installation, I had concerns over the weather. Not only did the site supervisor take the time to answer my concerns but also reassured me that if I wasn't comfortable with doing it then they'd reschedule because they wanted me happy with what was going on. I decided to go ahead with it and even then Tim Newman the owner called me just to make sure I was 100% sure and to reiterate that they would rather come back then me not be happy. Since then the roof has been nice, quiet, and most importantly leak free. We have been a customer of Newman Roof over the years and again will be for first choice for our roofing needs. We had a roof installed on our house twenty years ago due to hail damage. I have been happy with their work. Recently we had a fascia issue and I didn't know if this was something they would help me with. I contacted Jason(who helped me on another issue at a property where they didn't install the roof) and was able to fix the situation and I felt at an affordable price. Jason informed me that they would send Matt over to review my situation. Matt came over and he was very courteous and had his protected COVID 19 mask on. I showed him what the situation was and he explained that it was more of a siding issue, however, they would fix the issue and didn't even charge me this repair. He also fixed a downspout issue since he was at my house had his ladder out, this was way beyond I had expected from a roofing company. I was expecting to be charged since my roof was at last twenty years old and didn't expect anyone or let alone a company to back up their work or even something that wasn't even theirs to fix. That is total respect! Neman Roofing might not be the cheapest roofing out their, but again you get what you paid for, a company that has been in business for over twenty years and stands behind their work and willing to help their customers. This company is professional and does high quality work. I can attest to the cleanliness of the job as well as the quality of the work. I had what i thought might be a related issue causing a leak that the foreman came and discussed with me two years after the job. We looked together and he pointed out an issue with the brick separating from the front of my house. He volunteered his own time came back and sealed it at no charge. When we had to get a new roof recently, we looked around for a reliable company. We found Newman Roofing has an A+ rating with the BBB. We called them. They were very responsive, came to look at our existing roof to address our issues and explained everything in clear terms. We agreed to a contract and they scheduled us. On installatiin day the crew was on time, reviewed the contract to make sure we were all on the same page before they started, took time to cover up and protect our landscaping plants, worked all day to do a complete roof replacement and cleaned up afterward. They were done when they said they be and it looks great. They reviewed the finished product with us and asked us throughout the whole process if we had any questions or concerns and answered all of our questions and addressed our concerns (we had just had the landscaping done and didn't want to lose any plants). We couldn't ask for a better experience. Getting a new roof is never fun, but this company was very professional, friendly and did what they said they'd do, when they said they would do it. What a great company to work with! I had my first roof replaced in 1994 by Newman Roofing and was so pleased to see they made it through the recession when I needed my roof replaced again. Very professional and honest, reasonable and realistic estimate. During the process of replacing the roof, I was updated with iPad photos of what the roof looked like.
