I highly recommend the gutter whitening...really added to the over all finished look of the house. I was blown away that the owner of the company is actually the guy who cleaned the siding! He said he likes to treat every house like his own and I can now see that. Sam and Ian were great as well. They spent extra time making sure the windows were perfect and before they left, they made sure to ask if there was anything they could go back over or touch up before they left. Only reason they are getting five stars is because I could not give them six! I highly recommend K&T and will certainly remember them whenever I or anyone I know is in need of great, honest work.

During cleaning I had to continually point out to the workers where they had missed dirt on the windows. In pursuit of a squirrel, my cat pushed through a tiny hole in my upstairs bathroom screen, until only the rounded curve of his back, his legs and tail were on the inside of the screen. A funny sight, but, of course, now, from the second floor, the huge, gaping hole posed a danger, not to mention which my Landlord would probably not be too happy to find this now huge hole! Only 9 miles from the center of Hilltop, where I live, and 5 miles from Drexel in Bexley, they are very conveniently located. Usually, they make home visits to clean windows, pressure wash homes and roofs, clean concrete, clean decks, clean dryer vents, and repair and replace screens, among other cleaning and repair type services. In this case, I took my screen window to them. They are a small business, I believe they are family-owned, they provide extremely competitive and reasonable quotes, and they care about their customers. Micrin, the owner, heads a bright, engaging team of employees. Carmen and Deidre were the two who helped me. They are proud of the quality of their work! This is, indeed, a quality you want when you hire someone to provide a service. Their attitudes and the quality of their service engender trust. I highly recommend them for any work that you may need on your house. To see a list of what they do, go here - http://2020viewllc.com/, where you will also find links to many other rave reviews.

Newman Roofing has less of a Yelp presence than on other sites. My kid had a leaky roof and was…read morewading through all the options. You've seen the circulars and the signs in yards. But is the company reputable? And do you really want to go with a relatively new company even if is owned by your buddy. He decided, no. Newman is competitive with hundreds of 5 star reviews. He went with Newman. Subsequently we had a hail storm and neighbors were advising us to get our roof checked out. Our roof was 20 years old. I wanted to be honest with the insurance company and not submit a claim unless Tyler from Newman, who came out to give us an estimate, was sure we needed a new roof and we suffered damage beyond normal wear and tear. Plus we had 2 houses. Well one needed a new roof and the other one likely has another couple of years left. As an aside, if you turn in a claim to your insurance company, even if it is denied, you risk higher premiums or cancelation. That is why it is important to have Newman Roofing spend time assessing. In our case, our roof was more wear and tear with minimal hail. Dan and his guys were on time, even early. Weather has consistently been in the mid 90's. I was worried. But Newman keeps them well supplied with hydration. 14 man crew meant lots of vehicles, even a dump truck but they were minimally disruptive to our neighbors. Furniture moved, netting put up to minimize construction mess on house and garden areas. And then they went to work. All I can say is WOW. I am so pleased. When they were finished, the cleaned up all the mess, including using a magnetized thing for nails in driveway, patio and grass. The yard, the patio, the driveway, the porches are SPOTLESS. I highly highly highly recommend Newman Roofing. They did my kid's. They did this roof and in 2 years they will do our other roof. Price is good too.
