Ascent Roofing did multiple repairs to fix the damage as well as coordinated with the insurance companies to get the repairs covered 100%. Through their detailed inspection process, they also made us aware that we did not have any insulation over half of the restaurant. They blew in 20" of Owens Corning Attic Cat insulation which has saved my restaurant 30% or more on our heating and cooling bills. Their whole team from the owner Brent who came out for the estimate to their laborers were on-time, courteous and professional. They even worked around our schedule so it didn't disrupt our business and did the install on a Saturday morning at 5am. We would highly recommend the Ascent team to anyone with roofing or insulation needs.

From the get-go, I had a good gut feeling just talking with Bill. We just "clicked". He was professional, courteous and took the extra step to drive by my home ahead of time so he could bring out samples of shingles in colors I might like. I appreciated that. I liked that Ascent was local. Being a Navy brat, I appreciate the company is owned/operated by vets. Bill answered all my questions and got my project scheduled quickly. The crew arrived at 6:30 AM and was done by just after 12:30PM. They were very careful to tarp above my landscaping to protect it. They worked quickly and efficiently. Afterwards, they were meticulous with clean up, going over not once but twice with the magnets to find practically every nail in my grass and landscaping. They missed very few. They used a leaf blower to get any debris off deck roof, deck, driveway and walkway. Bill returned after the crew left and he courteously "tweaked" a few things for me. To say the least, I was impressed. From inspection to quote to finished project, I'm very pleased with the outcome. I would not hesitate to recommend Ascent Roofing Solutions. Thank you, Bill & crew, for a job well done.

We couldn't be happier with our experience with B&T Roofing! While we were in the middle of a home…read morerenovation in the dead of winter, we were dropped by our home insurance because our roof didn't meet their expectations. Needless to say halting renovations was frustrating and finding a company to replace the roof in the middle of the winter was next to impossible. Our contractors referred us to B&T and it was a great decision. B&T prepped everything so they were able to get in and replace the roof the second there was opportunity in the weather and did a great job. During the following summer, we noticed there were some waves in the edge of the roof. I called B&T and they explained the issue (our old roof vents and the cold weather replacement) and said they could fix it, but needed to wait for the weather to get cold again which was very understandable. Fast forward a few months, the very first chilly day of the fall came and I got a call from B&T saying they were going to come and fix the roof. They did, and it has looked great ever since! The most impressive part was they called me again the following summer saying they drove by to make sure the waves in the roof were gone and asked if I had noticed any issues they couldn't see from the road. I was so impressed with the follow through. This company does quality work and they clearly care! Very impressive!!

The contractor spent all of 10 minutes before deciding that he didn't think it was a roofing issue, despite the fact we pointed out this issue only happens when it rains. As a result we had to contact 2 other contractors only to have them tell us it was a roofing issue. I left a complaint and the owner contacted me, only to challenge me on everything I said and act as if his contractor was not at fault for not being thorough or spending enough time looking. He (THE OWNER) told me he would call me back the next day and I never heard from him. This company and it's owner are a complete joke. Save your time and contact someone else, they will do nothing to help you and they don't even begin to understand what professionalism means.

Eric Winter came out at our earliest convenience, and thoroughly explained the entire process, even showing us samples of the high quality materials they utilize. The time Eric Winter spent with us, and the information he shared far exceeded our previous estimate experiences. Eric Winter's assistance and ongoing involvement with our insurance provider in this process was absolutely invaluable. Additionally, Eric Winter was always very responsive to any texts or calls. The installation only took one day, and Diego consistently kept us updated in reference to the install and any issues. The crew did an exceptional job of cleaning up, including the magnetic pick up of any nails on the ground. Schottenstein Roofing and Eric Winter will have us as customers for life.

He came out to provide an estimate. He wasn't pushy, which I was extremely apprecative of. He knew I was getting several quotes. Once I decided Hendo was the company I would be going with for my roof, I let Eddie know, signed the contract and we were on our way. He worked with his team to schedule a day that I would be able to work from home and they had me on the schedule the very next week. The day of the installation went well overall. There was a question about my OSB board and we worked through a solution. After the install there was some tar and a piece of metal that got damaged during the install. Eddie assured me that they would fix the damage and clean the siding. Sure enough a week later it was all repaired. Very grateful to the team for guaranteeing this fix as the siding was new as well. The only disappointment was the crew did not seem to do another sweep through the the magnet afer the dumpster was removed. I didn't check the drive right away but found about 7 nails in the driveway leftover from the crew. I am just hoping non of them punctured my tires. So far they seem okay, but just makes me nervous. Overall I am pleased with the quality of work and the team at Hendo.

During the work he was hardly on the job, his workers did not speak English so I had to call him many times about his workers doing incorrect installation and throwing trash everywhere even in the yard next door. They were to install Tyvek wrap but they used the incorrect fasteners, additionally when the siding is nailed down the nails are not supposed to be 100% tight to wall a small gap is required per the manufacture to allow for siding expansion. The workers did not leave the gap and now every day when the sun hits the siding it expands a loud popping sound can be heard all day long throughout the home from expanding siding, additionally when the workers were driving the nails they hammered so hard they caused over 100 nail pops inside the home that damaged the drywall that needs repaired and repainted. I had to call Hendo roofing many times during the work process about poor workmanship since no supervisor that spoke English was on the job site. Since completion in August we have reached out to him about the issues but he makes excuses he will not fix the siding or repair the nail pops. I learned from City of Grove City Ohio that he is required to be licensed, bonded and insured to work in the city (and in most cities in Franklin County contractors need to do this for each city they work in) which he apparently was not according to the building department he also was required to file proof of such and file a permit with the city, which he did not do. The city explained to me the level of protection as a consumer this would have provided and if he failed to fix the issues they would have paid out the bond to me for damages Make sure your contractor (Any trade) is bonded and insured in your city by checking your city web site and have then give you a paper copy of the permit as proof He does inferior work and will not correct his mistake No License, no insurance, no bond and no permit at that time

Five years ago my home in Chester Springs, PA. was hit by a serious hail storm. It did significant damage to our roof and copper flashing. I hired Universal Builders to handle the entire project, and boy did they do just that! They handled the relationship with the insurance company, they ordered the material, they scheduled the work, and they completed the job when they said they would. Fast forward 5 years to May of 2022. My summer home in Presque Isle, Michigan was hit by another hailstorm and my roof was damaged along with 1,700 homes in our area. I thought immediately of Universal, but was disappointed to read that they did not do residental roofs in Michigan. I called them anyway, and talked to an extremely polite and helpful woman who listened to my problem and said she would speak to the owners about my situation. Next thing I know I got a call from Jacob Noland. He said he was going to drive the 350 miles and take a look and make an assesment of my situation. He came to our house and told me that he would help me, and if he couldn't, he would find a contractor that could. Well, he, Eddie and Brittnay, Bobbie and Roger and everyone else found a way to do the same great jobs that they did 5 years ago in PA. They were all professional, polite, prompt and did what they said they were going to do. I hope I never see another hailstorm, but if I do, I know who I am going to call.
