Ashleigh not only had the low down on the best foods to order, but she kept up with our table of 5 like we were beloved family. Everything was sooooo good tonight. From the delicious appetizers, to the incredible salad (seriously, you have got to try this Creamy Italian), all the way to this badass softshell crab dish and the most chocolatey-chocolate cake I've had in recent memory. I lost most of notes for this meal, sadly, because it was super delicious and perfect. We did the 5 course meal menu item and I cannot wait to go back and do it again. The best thing we tried was actually the calamari it was tasty and definitely the highlight of our meal. Not a terrible experience, just not great. For the price and the options in the area, we'd probably choose somewhere else next time.

Food critics typically say a restaurant that gets a 9 out of 10 or higher is worth more than an hour long wait or drive that is a few hours. This place hits that mark for my Wife and I.

My husband and I dined for lunch today. This was my second visit. We were greated by an unsmiling, unwelcoming woman. I believe that this was the owner?? We were seated and were greated by our pleasant waitress. As we waited for our drinks, I noticed that the remaining wait staff looked miserable. None had a smile on their face. A bald gentleman, who I am assuming was the other owner, also had an unpleasant look on his face. This unpleasantness made me feel very uncomfortable & unwelcome! The food was a bit pricey for lunch, but it was delicious! I had the chicken in the white crabmeat sauce. The chicken was tender & juicy! My husband had the panned veal & fettuccine. He said his dish was also delicious! He even commented on how good the iced tea was! As we were leaving the restaurant, we passed both owners. Neither said a word! Not even a simple thank you! There is plenty of parking so that's a plus and it's right off the main highway and easy to find. A grumpy blonde lady pretty much ignored me and my friend as we walked into the restaurant and we weren't really in a rush so we went into the bar area to the right as you walk in and had a few drinks. I had a steak and my friend tried the chicken parmesan.our server was nice and timely. Me and my friend both agreed the food was good enough but the atmosphere would be chipper without the grumpy blonde lady lurking around with a constant sour expression. This is my second and last visit to this establishment. While today's food, the crawfish etouffee, tasted ok, it was served without any bread and a server never came by for me to address any issues. The service time was extremely long and I ended up being late getting back to work. Bad service and just ok food means they have lost a customer. read more
